Chapter 128: Bryn

I’m standing in front of the mirror admiring the simple but pretty dress I found in the market. It’s not a typical wedding dress but I like that about it because none of this is typical. Marrying three men is far from normal so why should my dress be? I love it all anyway.

Since we’re getting married on the beach in front of our beautiful rental house I decide to keep my make-up minimal and curl my hair into beach waves. I take the small flower one of the cooks left on our dinner plate as decoration, clean it a little and then slip it into my hair.

“You look beautiful baby.” I smile at Sawyer in the mirror and turn to wrap my arms around his waist.

“Thank you. How are you?” I know he said he’s okay with this, but it will change the dynamics of our relationship.

He won’t be my only husband anymore.

“I’m always going to be a little selfish when it comes to you, but I’m glad we’re doing this. They’re good guys and love you as much as I do. It’s only fair they get this part of you too.” He says and I don’t see a hint of a lie in his expression.

I lift myself to my toes and kiss him. “You’ll always be my first.”

“Damn right.” He wraps his arm around my waist and kisses the heck out of me. “Now let's go get you hitched…again.”

He slides his hand into mine and leads me out of my room. When we get downstairs he stops by the bassinet we have for Henry and picks him up. I smile and laugh at the one he’s wearing. It’s a picture of a suit and totally adorable.

“Don’t you look handsome my little man?” I coo at him.

“Ready?” Sawyer asks me.

I nod and slip my arm in his. We walk to the front door and I gas when I see a trail of flowers leading from the door to the end of the beach where an arch of flowers is standing. The officiant stands behind it and my other guys are standing in front waiting for me. They are all dressed in loose white button-ups and dark shorts that fit the relaxed island wedding theme I was going for. My eyes start to burn with tears, but I try to hold them back. Sawyer slowly walks me in the direction of the others and I spot tears in Jaxon and Maddox’s faces. Nolan is more stoic but I can see the emotions all over his face that match the others, so he doesn’t need tears to tell me what he’s feeling.

Sawyer and I stop walking when we reach them and Sawyer steps away from me to stand on my side.

“Welcome. Today we are gathered together to bring this woman into union with these men. There is no bond like the one of marriage. It is a chosen union with a promise that can never be broken as long as the ones involved commit to the sacrifices a marriage involves. The sanctity of marriage is the promise to love and cherish each other every day of your lives. To cherish each moment shared and never take each other for granted.” The officiant says. “Love can overcome all obstacles if it is strong and determined.”
He goes on a little longer but finally reaches the end.

“Do you Jaxon, Maddox, and Nolan take Bryn to be your wife? To have and hold all the days of your life through sickness and health?” He asks.

“We do.” They say together.

“Do you Bryn take Jaxon, Maddox and Nolan to be your husbands? To have and hold all the days of your life through sickness and health?” He asks me next.

“I do.”

“Then with the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husbands and wife. You may kiss the bride.”

Jaxon steps up first. I laugh when he grabs me around the waist and slams me against his body. “Wife.” He says before slamming his lips to mine.

He even goes as far as to dip me back and make it a kiss worthy of a romance movie. When he finally has me standing upright again he steps back and lets Maddox take his place.

He smiles down at me and surprises me by lifting me up in his arms. “My wife, my everything.” Then he kisses me sweetly and I wrap my arms around his neck holding on to this moment as long as I can.

I’m a little dizzy by the time he sets me down and moves away. Nolan stands for a minute looking me over with that calculating expression of his. When I asked him why he always looked at me like I’m a riddle to figure out he said it was him taking in every detail of the moment. So when he looks back he’ll remember everything as clear as if it was happening all over again. Needless to say, I swooned on the inside, can you blame me?

I wait patiently until his eyes meet mine and then I smile at him. He returns mine with one of his rare full smiles and walks toward me. I feel giddy expectation as he looks down at me. Will he kiss me quickly and save the passion that simmers under those intense eyes for when we’re alone or-

He cups my face with both his hands and seals his lips over mine. The kiss is intense and full of emotion and I literally go weak in the knees. He catches me and holds me against him with an arm around my waist. When he ends the kiss it takes me a moment before I slowly open my eyes and stare up into his dark ones.

“I will love and cherish you for the rest of my life until death claims me.” He whispers before sealing his promise with a gentle kiss.

Holy crap…

He slowly releases me and steps back before dipping his fingers in his pocket and pulling out a thin band ring. The others join him and hold their rings in hand. Nolan takes my finger and slides his ring on my finger above the one I wear from Sawyer. Then the others follow and when I look down at my new friends I notice there is an engraving on them that creates a heart. The tears I have been fighting finally spill down my cheeks and I let out a sob.

I look up at them and throw my arms around Jaxon who is the closest, then Nolan and finally Maddox. “I love it.”
Once I’m done hugging each of them I slip their rings on and we all sign our marriage forms.

“Let’s take a picture!” Jaxon says handing the officiant his phone.

We take a few pictures as a group and then individual ones with each of my boys including Sawyer and Henry. When we’re done the officiant leaves and we head back inside to enjoy a small but gorgeous cake provided to us by the resort. Thankfully I pumped earlier so I can enjoy a glass of champagne. Once we’re finished with our cake I take Henry to one of the rooms where a crib is set up and put him to sleep. It doesn’t take long and I set a baby monitor up before heading back to my room.

The guys are already there lounging around on my bed. I stay standing in the doorway and watch them talk and laugh. My heart swells at how they seem to meld so well as a unit. For totally different personalities that have come together to be with me. It all feels too good to be true and yet here we are. How did I get so lucky?

Maddox notices me first and smiles at me. He holds a hand out to me and I walk in to accept it, but stumble into him when he tugs me toward him. I let out a small sound of surprise when he kisses me but I melt against him almost immediately. These boys know exactly how to turn me into a puddle at their feet, but I need to get myself together so I can explain how things will go tonight.

I know I was just with Maddox and Sawyer earlier today but I have four husbands, so I need to be ready to go again. There is no way we aren’t celebrating on our wedding night.

Maddox lets me go when I pull away from him and I take a few steps back. I look at each of them and smile saucily at them.

“I have plans for us tonight, and you all will do as I say. Okay?” I ask them not because I want permission but to make sure they understand.

Jaxon smirks. “I agree. What are you thinking Angel? Whatever it is I’m in.”

I give them a smile and slide my dress slowly over my body and up over my head.
