CHAPTER 22

I never expected him to support me to this extent. He is right about the fact that I'm scared of my father and what he can actually do. There is no turning back. This is part of my fate, to suffer and be bullied. The only person that supported me when the world went against me is suffering and I won't be able to help her?
After I left Kevin in the car, I mustered up all the courage left on me and entered the house. Like I expected, my family was down with my aunt and kids. My father, mother, Patty, Larry except Will. He's not here, he never really cares about this kind of things.
I know my sister Patty envies me, she must be feeling happy to see me go through this. Larry is worse, he derives joy in making me suffer. I looked around the room and saw what made my heart jump.
"I didn't think you'd become so rude in a short period of time. Not only that, you also have the guts to tarnish my image with your uselessness." Father said with an evil grin.
I gulped, I know what he's trying to do. He has torture materials already set down for me. My aunt's kids look terrified and I feel so guilty that they are going through this because of me. My father has become so heartless that he refused to see the bad things he's doing to them. This is so uncalled for.
"Father you don't have to do this. What you think about me is wrong. My aunt is innocent, please stop hurting her and the innocent kids." I pleaded with him.
"Oh shut up you little whore! Are you trying to justify your actions by acting sweet? We all know what you are so there's nothing that sweet talk of yours will do to get you out of this." Patty scolded me.
"I wasn't talking to you Patty. We all know how much you hate me. This does not concern you. I have done nothing wrong, these people have been kind to me and don't deserve to be treated the way you're treating them." I fired back.
Father came to me and landed a slap on my face. I held my cheeks as hot tears rolled down my cheeks. I was more than upset, I just couldn't take it anymore.
"I am no longer a child father! I am an adult and I deserve to make my own decisions! If you want then stop calling me your daughter, you already disowned me the day you sent me away. Aunt Carmen is not a child, what you are doing is illegal."
He laughed hysterically, then he stopped and gave me a cold look.
"My stupid sister is going through this because she has been teaching you things that's she is not supposed to. And I'll make you both pay for disrespecting me. Hold her!!!" He yelled.
Larry and Patty immediately held my hand, I struggled to free myself but I couldn't do it. They were both too strong for me. They laid me flat on the floor, I saw my dad bring out his whip made of iron. I shut my eyes to receive the pain he's about to inflict on me.
He started lashing out my back and I couldn't help but yelp. The whip was tearing my body, hurting me and my wolf. My body still in pain that I felt my breath itching in my throat.
"Ralf please stop! You're going to kill her!" Aunt Carmen yelled.
Hot tears streamed down my face. The door suddenly barged open to reveal my saving knight. I knew he'd come for me. But the look in his eyes, it's something that I have seen before and it's dangerous. Everyone looks shocked to see him.
"LET HER GO." He growled.
I shook my head, though the pain has made me so weak. I have to stop him from creating havoc here. My dad looks most displeased to see him while Patty won't stop drooling over him. It's obvious because I can see it written all over her.
"Who the fuck are you supposed to be and what makes you think you can barge into our house whenever you want?!." Larry cussed.
"You even invited your lover into my house. How dare you Anastasia?!" Dad yelled filled with rage.
I looked over at Kevin who is trying to control his anger.
"Don't. Don't do anything. Just calm down." I told him to make him calm.
Some other people barged in with their weapons in hand, Patty and Larry had to let me go.
"This isn't over yet. I'll make you pay for doing this to her. She's my luna, no one dares to hurt my mate. I don't care if you're her father or not. I'm coming back to hunt you down." He threatened my father straight in the eye.
He lifted me up, the other guys untied my aunt and her kids. I felt relieved that at least she's safe now, my body is so weak. I felt myself slowly closing my eyes. I didn't want to but I seem to have no power over myself as I'm wounded now. I could feel and hear the sound of his heartbeat. He's angry. But he's trying to control himself because of me. I know he may still carry out his threats later.
"You dare to barge into my house, disrupt my work and threaten me? You have just asked for war Alpha Kevin. And war is what you're going to get!!!" I heard my father roar.
"You are nothing but a disgrace. I'll be waiting for you to come and if you don't, be ready to face me." That was all he said and he took me away.
I shut my eyes and let him take me away. I did not move or try to protest. All I wanted was to be far away from my cruel father. I know he's extremely angry and he feels like he's going to kill me. I never expected his hate to get to this extent. I know he has been cruel to me, at least he shouldn't take it to this level.
I opened my eyes to take one look at my hero before closing them back.

A mild touch on my skin brought me back to reality. I opened my eyes, the light in the room was bright enough for me to see everything. I recognize this room, why wouldn't I? I've been coming here for days now and I'm getting used to staying here so I do recognize this room.
I am laying on my back, someone is massaging my back. I tried to see who it is, the person is so good that I hardly feel any pain. Not only did Kevin bring me back home, he also let me stay in the room and hired someone for me.
Except, he didn't hire someone for me. The person doing the massage is...him? Wow. I'm amazed. He took his time to take care of me even though he didn't need to. He could have asked someone else to do it. He's a king, he doesn't act like one around me. Our pack leader is a very proud peacock, sorry to insult elders but that's the truth. He and my father are good friends and they flock together.
I doubt if any king or billionaire would want to do something like this for a woman. I decided to relax and enjoy the massage.
"How are you feeling?" He asked.
Huh? He already noticed me? Here I was thinking he doesn't know I'm awake. He's so vigilant, always aware of what is going on around him. I need this super power, at least I won't be so stupid.
"A bit sore. But I can't feel the pain now that you're helping me." I replied lowly.
"That's good. Stay put while I apply this ointment. It's going to help with your healing process fast."
I nodded and obeyed. Soon enough, he was done with the massage. I saw him take the bowl and a towel to the other side of the room. That's when realization hit me. I am laying naked. I blushed at the thought of him pulling off my clothes in order to treat me. I also feel a bit shy. But I wouldn't say anything that will make me feel more embarrassed.
"You may have to lay like that for some minutes. So the ointment can dry on your skin. After this we are going to talk." He said.
I get what he means. I suddenly remembered my aunt and her kids. Where are they? Did he take them back home? If he did, my father is surely going after them again. Then I'll have to relive this horrible moment.
"They're fine. They're already safe, I'll move them to a safer place later on. They're around here." He replied as usual reading my thoughts.
"Thank you for everything. I have nothing to say than thank you."
He smirked, "Of course you have a lot to say. I'm going to wait for your recovery so we can talk about this."
His tone sounds flirty, I already got what he means. Goodness this man is a dirty talker. He just loves to make the light of out the mood and somehow he manages to make my heart flutter. I feel safe with him, perharps this is my time to finally be happy. I hope my father would leave us alone, he's already done more than enough. He should just let me be.
