CHAPTER 23
AUTHOR'S POV
Ralf threw everything away in anger, shattering a lot of things. He felt betrayed and belittled. He never thought his own daughter would go to the extent of bringing a stranger to threaten him. As if that was not enough, he also brought his minions with him.
"You should calm down Ralf. This is not going to solve anything. The deed has been done, we need to find a solution rather than do what you're doing." Helen said trying to calm him down.
Deep inside she's happy that someone was there to save her daughter from Ralf. He was determined to kill her if that man had not arrived.
"I know what you're doing Helen. I will make them pay even if it is the last thing I do. That young man has no idea the kind of war he has just started! Anastasia is my daughter and I have the right to do whatever I want with her!" He snapped at her.
Patty and Larry watched their parents argue, each with their own share of anger. Will watched from afar while they argued. He had been there the whole time, he watched them torture Sia. He saw Kevin arrive and take her away, that was a bit relieving. He didn't want to get involved, he watched them then returned to his room. At least their plan failed.
"This is getting worse than we thought. At this rate, Sia is going to get us kicked out of the pack. We can't let that happen father." Patty protested.
"Not only would she damage this family, we won't have a place in any pack or the society anymore. This is not something we should take lightly." Larry added.
Ralf nodded, "I know what to do. I'll be back in a while. Stay with your whining mother in the meantime while I talk to the pack leader."
Ralf walked out of the house. Helen glared at Patty and Larry, they needed no soothsayer to tell them that they should get out of her sight. They walked upstairs going to their rooms. Helen left for the kitchen, she decides to indulge in chores to keep her mind occupied.

Patty followed Larry to his room and sat on the bed. She gritted her teeth fighting the anger she feels. Anastasia is always getting the good things even with her bad luck. What is it about her that even the moon goddess is on her side? What does she have to do to get all the good things?
"You shouldn't be hard on yourself Patty. You should rather look for the way forward than whine about this." Larry said noticing her mood.
He knows how Patty feels about Sia. The feeling is mutual because almost everything about her makes them feel insecure. For someone who shifted into something disgraceful, she's not supposed to have the kind of support she has. That's how they both feel.
"And what do you suggest we do? You know we can't do anything behind father's back." She replied dryly.
Larry scoffed, "Here I was thinking you'd really use your brain but you seem to be disappointing me. If you don't do something now, when are you going to do it? We have to think of our own plan while supporting father, think Patty."
Patty shook her head, "You seem not to get the point. We have to be careful in everything we do. We can't do anything if father is involved. He may unleash his wrath on us if anything goes wrong."
"That's why we are going to keep it a secret. I have a plan that will end her once and for all. No one would ever suspect us. That's the best part of it, we would achieve our aims if you're ready to work with me." Larry said determined.
She smiled, "As long as this won't get us in trouble, I'm down for anything. What is the plan?"
He whispered into her ears, she grinned evily at the thought of what he said. Indeed, this is a good way to cause more trouble for Sia.
"Wow Larry. You are such a genius. Why didn't I think of this before? I'm so dumb sometimes."
"That's why you have me to back you up. We can finally get rid of the family disgrace. She was never part of this family anyways, we'll send to where she deserves to be."
They both shook hands in anticipation to their evil. They don't care if Sia is their blood or not. Their greed has blinded their eyes, they only want to get her out of the way to fulfil their own ambitions.
••••
Ralf got to the pack leader's residence. He was invited to the private living room of Alpha Logan, the pack leader of the Blue Moon pack. Ralf waited for him while still enraged and impatient about the whole incident. He wants Kevin to regret coming to threaten him at his own house.
"Sorry I came late. I have been very busy. Have some wine." Logan's voice came from behind him.
Sometimes Ralf wonders how he clones his scent, It's hard to notice he's around unless he reveals himself.
"There's no need for that. I came to discuss something very important with you." Ralf replied.
Alpha Logan took a seat, he was wearing a bath robe and bathroom slippers. His greyish dark hair wet, and hid wrinkled face dripping with water. He had a set of dark brown eyes, that sometimes makes he attractive. Ralf already guessed where he was coming from.
"Tell me what troubles you so much dear friend."
Ralf grunted, "Alpha Kevin."
Logan arched a brow in surprise, isn't that supposed to be a popular familiar name?
"Which one of them is called that?"
"The Alpha of the White Moon pack. He threatened to deal with me and this pack, because I tried to discipline my daughter from getting involved with him."
Logan dropped his wine glass. "The rumors are true then. Your daughter is now a fling for that young man. Now he's even threatening you? He does have some courage doesn't he?"
Ralf palmed his face, just what he needed. For the whole town to know the kind of person his daughter is. There's no way she won't ruin his image.
"What am I supposed to do in a situation like this? He has dared me and is trying to start a war. Surely you won't let him get away with this will you?"
Logan smirked, There's no need to underestimate him or ask what he can do. He is on the lookout for his enemies, and now one has personally come to him to start a war. He also has his own intensions of getting a pack like that for himself. If they go into battle, that would be his winning prize.
"You shouldn't get yourself so worked up over a mere threat. He won't be able to do anything. We are going to strike first before he can. And we'll get your daughter back home. You don't worry." Logan assured Ralf.
Ralf knows what Logan is capable of doing but he still wonders how he's going to do it. He has to know since this matter was stirred up by his useless daughter.
"I know you Logan. What do you plan to do? We should strike first before he does. He needs to know he messed with the wrong person." Ralf still boiled in anger.
Logan only continued to smirk, "Like I said Ralf, I am on the lookout for my enemies and friends. I know what to do in situations like this. Let him have the first draw, that's where we decide his doom from."
"This is all my fault for giving birth to such a useless child. If she wasn't a disgrace to my family, I wouldn't be going through this. I will make her your slave once she gets back. She is of no use to me after all."
Logan raised a brow amused, he knows how disappointed Ralf is but he never knew to what extent. To think that it is not even the girl's fault that she shifted into a weak wolf. It is her destiny, yet her father hates her so much for that.
"You shouldn't make promises you can't keep Ralf." He said.
Ralf scoffed, "Wait and see. Help me get her back and see if I don't give her to you for free."
"So the price of my help is your daughter?... That's fair enough. You should expect my full support Ralf. That's my promise to you." Logan promised.
He was happy because he's always had eyes for Sia secretly since she was growing up. He only decided to stay away from her because of her status. She is by far the most beautiful girl in the pack, her status is what makes people refuse to see that. They only see a weak, ugly wolf. He smiled inwardly, now he's having her for himself.
Ralf has just served his daughter on a platter of gold.
