CHAPTER 60

SIA
I am able to live in peace with my mate now. We got married and he made me Luna. I have surprisingly stopped being an omega to a beta wolf. That's a strong improvement, if only my father was proud of me. My father is still on the lookout for me though. I have decided to stop hiding and go to him myself. If he hates me and wants to kill me so bad, I may as well give him a chance to try. I dressed up looking at my bulgy tummy, the baby is growing fast. Kevin and I moved back to his mansion at the city.
He suggested I stay with him since he has so much business to attend to. He has been busy for the past weeks, and has fired me from being his assistant. Amanda is now taking over my place till I'm ready. He wants me to go back to school and finish college, something my father wanted to make impossible for me.
I asked Seth to drive me to my parent's residence. The car got there almost two hours later. I got down staring at the house in front of me. The gate was open as always, I entered taking careful steps. I knocked on the door and my sister Patty opened the door. She stared at me with hate written all over her.
"What are you doing here you witch? Are you here to set fire on us again?" Patty scowled at me. I looked at her hands and saw her claws growing, like she wants to use them on me.
"I'm here to see mom and dad Patty, let me in." I said calmly.
She scoffed, "You've got the nerves to make demands! I told you you're not welcome here. Leave immediately while I'm still telling you nicely."
I pushed her aside and entered the house. I did not use much force but she landed like I did, Patty is trying to set me up. Well I am not stupid. I came here on my free will hoping that father will change his mind about me.
Everyone came downstairs when they heard noises. Everyone including my father who I wanted to talk to. His eyes filled with rage just by looking at me, my mother has a surprised expression instead. Like she wasn't expecting to see me.
"What are you doing here you stupid ungrateful loser!" Father yelled coming close to me.
Patty rushed to meet him, "Did you see that father? She pushed me away when I told her she wasn't allowed in the house."
"Dad I came to see you. I want to talk to you, I really hope you can give me a chance. I didn't attack Patty, I only asked her to leave the way." I replied him ignoring Patty.
"What right do you have to come into my house after all you did? I heard about how you created so much trouble over there. I don't want to see you, leave while I am still sparing your life. You are not allowed into my house again!" He yelled at me.
"I only want to make peace with my family. Is that too much to ask dad? I don't want to fight you anymore. I am tired of all these. Please stop. I am still willing to forgive you for trying to poison me just to punish me."
"Dad, how could you do that? You hate Sia that much to want dead so fast?" Will scolded him.
Dad turned to him with a scowl, "Shut up! No one asked for your opinion you idiot! So what if I poisoned her! She is a little witch, a disgrace to my family. I don't want a child like her, I can't go anywhere because of her. Everyone mocks me for having an evil child like her. I don't want her anymore! You made Logan chase me away, he has refused to support me after she bewitched him. I'm telling you to stay away from me."
"I'll leave dad. I have tried my best to make peace with you but you don't want that. I never chose this path for myself, this is totally out of my control. There's nothing I can do. Excuse me dad, I hope you realize that I am not as bad as you think one day." I said and walked out of the house.
I expected my father to attack me when I came in, I thought he'd be happy to capture me but it seems he is now afraid of me. Kevin managed to convince Logan to let me go. After much discussion, they stopped being rivals and agreed to take all their enemies down together.
This made my father angry I think, he won't stop hating me no matter what I do. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do anymore. I think I have done my best, I should just let him be. I was about to enter the car when someone stopped me, I heard the voice of my mother and brother coming after me.
"Anastasia! Please wait." She called breathing hard as she stopped in front me, Will also came behind her.
"Mom, what are you doing here? You should go back before father sees you both. He may try to hurt you or throw you out, I don't want you to get into trouble because of me." I told them checking if my father is watching them.
Mom shook her head, "I don't care anymore my child. I have supported all his actions and being a bad mother. No one wanted to get into trouble with him so we all obeyed him. In the end what has that proven to us? Nothing Sia. Your father should not have chased you away, after you came to apologise for something that's definitely not your fault."
"Mom is right Sia. Father has taken it too far that he lost his source of support. He hates you for no reason when we all know what happened to you is not your fault. I don't know how to even face you and apologize fir being a jerk all these years. I'm sorry sister, I am truly happy for what you have achieved and where you are now." Will added.
Those words brought tears to my eyes. This is what I truly needed to hear. At least not everyone of my family members hates me, my own mother cares for me and that's more than anything to me.
"Don't cry darling. Be happy you're in the right place now. Thanks to his hatred, he pushed you to your mate who accepted you. Sometimes I still wonder if I am your father's mate, because of the way he treats me. But that's less important now, please be happy my child." Mom said.
I hugged her, "Thank you so much mom. You have no idea how much this means to me. Having your love and support is more than anything in the world."
I hugged Will after, "Thank you so much Will. This means a lot, I promise I won't disappoint you for having faith in me."
"You don't have to thank me little sister, I should thank you for accepting my apology. I also promise to try and make you for all the times I didn't fulfill my role as your brother, I don't care what dad does or think." He promised.
"I'll also make up for all I haven't given you. All the love you lost and the loneliness you felt. That's my promise darling. Your father will not bother you anymore as long as I am alive, I will stand up to him this time." Mom also promised.
"No mom. You don't need to fight with father for me. I am happy you both are supportive and that's more than enough. Perhaps father will also change his view about me one day. Hopefully." I said.
"He's actually not mad at you, he's just scared now." Will replied crossing his arms.
I knew it already when he asked me to leave without attacking me. The last time I came here, he almost killed me. He wouldn't have let me go if it was one of those times.
"You should go back now mom, Will. It's better not to provoke him at this point. He won't be happy to see you both with me, and I really don't want anymore trouble for me or my husband." I advised them, seeing my father peeping at them through the window.
"You should not worry about us. We'll be fine my dear. You run along now. I'll come check on you when I'm less busy." Mom hugged me again before helping me into the car.
I waved at them in the car, "Bye mom, bye Will!"
Seth drove off. I sighed sadly, my father made all my efforts a waste. We got back to the mansion later on, I am too tired. I laid on the bed weakly, Kevin walked out from the bathroom with a towel on his waist. His body was showing fully, I started to drool on him forgetting he's my husband already.
"You can just come closer, you'll be able to feel it much better that way." He said breaking into my thoughts.
I scoffed, "I wasn't looking at you. Stop feeling yourself."
"So how did it go with your father?" He asked me.
"What? Who told you that? I didn't tell you I was gonna..."
"I know you went there. Seth told me when I texted him. You shouldn't hide things from me, you should have called me to go with you. What if they hurt you?" He scolded.
"Actually, they didn't hurt me. My mother and brother Will came to apologise and show their support. They ignored my father's wishes to talk to me. My father and other siblings did not want to see me, no matter what I did, my father still hates me." I replied sadly.
He came close to me and hugged me.
"That's alright. Your father doesn't know what he's missing. You are the sweetest soul I have ever met. Things are going to be fine. Don't worry." He assured me.
I rest my head on his chest, enjoying his scent.
"Thank you honey. You're the best thing that has happened to me too."
"Your aunt called to check on you. She said you were not picking her calls. Call her up when you've got the time." He informed me.
"Oh okay. Thanks." I smiled at him. My hands roaming around his body.
"If you keep doing that, I'm going to forget that you're pregnant." He warned me.
I continued, he flipped me over and laid on me. His hardness throbbing my legs, I screamed.
"You pervert! Do you want to stab my baby with that?" I yelled.
He scratched his head, "I'm sorry, it's not under my control."
I scoffed, "Well you are not touching me until I give birth! Period! I don't want my child to look like a giraffe."
"Giraffe? That doesn't make sense."
"Makes a lot of sense to me. Excuse me darling, I'll go get something for my baby and I to eat. Take another shower." I smirked getting out of bed.
He didn't get over it. I felt sorry for him and went back to him myself. He is my husband after all. I don't have a great happy ending yet, and I still have a lot of problems. But the most important thing is having my mate by my side. We are opposites of the same world, yet our love has grown stronger than just the mate bond. I hope this things last forever, that would be my definition of a happy ending.
