This man is worse than I thought. I would have put him in his place had his daughter not asked me to calm down. How can he treat people like they don't deserve to leave over nothing? He has nothing reasonable against them and he expects them to respect him. I never knew this was the kind of treatment she is going through.
Most early shifted omegas get support from their families even if the whole world is against them. I know my family would support and be there for me had it been me that this happened to. I watched her as she slept. I told her to rest her body but she ended up falling asleep again. I did not disturb her because I wanted her to rest.
She has already gone through a lot in the hands of her cruel father. No one will treat my luna like this ever again. I would not let it happen. I walked down the stairs to get a glass of ice, I stumbled upon Amanda. Surprised, I stared at her while she walked towards me smiling. What is she doing here and why did she leave work?
"What are you doing Amanda? Why are you not at work?" I asked almost immediately.
She smiled, "I came to give you the good news. We just got the contract with the new asian partners even though you couldn't get to the meeting."
I raised a brow in amusement, not because I'm surprised we got the contract, but because I didn't make an effort yet. These asians are one of the biggest names in the world market. Getting a contract partnership with them would only expand my wealth and popularity. Not only that, it would also make my pack the strongest in a matter of no time.
But then I still don't understand something, Amanda usually waits before I come to the office or calls me on the phone to give me the good news. Why does she have to leave work after I told her about my emergency?
"Thank you Amanda but you could have called me. I know work hours isn't over yet so why are you here instead of work? You could have called me or waited for me to get back." I told her.
She frowned a bit, then smiled.
"Sir, I actually wanted to give you the news personally. Moreover, I wanted to use that as an opportunity to get close to you... I mean I wanted to check on you. The way you left the office got me worried and I thought I should check on you. I also called you but you weren't picking up, so I thought I should just check if everything is okay."
Her explanation seems logical enough but that's not why she's doing this. I know Amanda has always been into me and she wants us to have a romantic relationship but I have never wanted more than work. I already had enough when Nina died, I didn't want anything to do with any woman. Besides, I don't look at Amanda in a romantic way.
"Thank you for your concern Amanda. As you can see, everything is fine with me. You can go back to the office now. Tell the new partners I would be there to see them tomorrow."
She mumbled something I did not hear.
"Okay sir. I'll be on my way now. I'll see you tomorrow then." She said going out. I didn't reply and I watched her leave. Then I turned to the kitchen area to get the ice.
I came back to the living room and met her, she came back. Her expression changed showing a lot of anger. She moved close to me slowly, this is getting out of hand.
"Why do you keep this to me Kevin? Why do you keep turning me down no matter what I do to prove myself to you? You'd rather take the weak omega you just met than me. Is that any fair at all?" She lamented.
I shut my eyes and opened them, frustrated. Of course she's a nice woman, but she is not my mate. She shouldn't try to force herself on me. That's very disgraceful for a wolf, I know she's frustrated. But this is not the way to do things. Even if she hasn't found her mate yet, it doesn't mean she can't have one.
"You are still too young to be frustrated Amy. You should not use your obsession to find a mate in a wrong way. She is my mate. I can't have anything to do with you because I only see you as a friend. You should respect that too."
She grunted, "Friendship? I don't want friendship or any other mate. I have always wanted you right from childhood. Why do you think having a new mate will make any difference now? I can't do it. I can't stop myself from being a disgrace and wanting you for myself."
"Amy, you need to go back to the office now. I don't want to get mad at you. You can not change my mind, go back to the office Amanda." I ordered with my alpha aura.
She quietly walked out of the house. I heaved a huge sigh, I wasn't about to watch her break down in front of me. I took the ice back to the room and poured myself a drink. I could have gotten my workers to do it, I just felt like getting it myself.
I looked at Sia who is stirring awake on the bed. She opened her eyes and looked around till her eyes landed on me. She gave me a beautiful smile, I returned the smile. She tried getting up, noticing she's still laying naked, she grabbed the sheets to cover herself.
"You should stop hiding what I've seen already. They're mine after all." I told her.
She rolled her eyes. "You are acting so naughty Alpha Kevin."
"You have only seen the little I can do." I replied in a husky voice.
She laughed, "I should probably go get myself a shower and cover myself. You're giving me weird looks."
She sluggishly dragged herself out of bed while struggling with the sheets. She is not planning to drag these huge sheets to the bathroom, is she? I dropped my drink and got up. Holding her from behind, I lifted her up making the sheets fall off her body. She giggled and covered her face, her blushed cheeks evident.
"There's nothing to be ashamed of. You're beautiful." I said and dropped her in the tub.
I helped her add the soap which foamed immediately, she stared at me smiling. Then I made to leave.
"Don't go. I'm still weak, I can't bath myself. Help me." She gave me a cute puppy eyes.
I smiled, who am I kidding? I am somehow falling in love with her. She just jumped into my life and in no time I find myself this way. I am not always this soft or nice, not even when Nina was alive. She changed everything about me, I feel at peace with her. That's because she is the only one who is able to make me do things I've never done before.
"Hmm... You're blackmailing me emotionally now, aren't you?" I teased her.
Her eyes widened, "What? No! I.. I would never blackmail you. I actually want you to do it for me... It's a request."
I chuckled softly, "With pleasure my queen."
I sat at the edge of the tub behind her. I raised her back and slowly rubbed it with the water and soap. I felt my huge erection threatening to tear my pants. I have tried enough to control my urge to take her since, I can still do it. I moved over to her front, I made her lay a little. She closed her eyes relaxed, I continued my routine of bathing her.
"You do know I am trying to control myself right?" I asked her.
She smirked still closing her eyes, "That's the goal."
I raised a brow amused, she is doing this on purpose to arouse me? Whoa. I wanted her to be bold, I didn't know she'd become so bold without me knowing it. This is impressive, she managed to seduce me without doing a thing.
