CHAPTER 43

NINA
I looked out the window again. They're not yet back. I wonder if I've been so stupid to underestimate this evil omega girl. She is stealing Kevin away from me completely! He pushed me to the floor without looking at me because of her!
I had seen him arrive earlier. So I wanted to check on him. I thought he would pass by, but he didn't. Then I decided to check his study, I can't miss any given opportunity. There he was seated like he's in deep thoughts. I know I must be part of his thoughts.
It's not easy after seeing me. Now he has to try to balance the both of us without hurting anyone. I have to act very vulnerable to make it look better. He can't just toss me away like I'm nothing, not after all we've been through together.
"But you betrayed him." My wolf said to me.
"Shut up! Your opinion doesn't count!" I yelled at her.
The door opened to reveal Sheila and Annabelle. I quickly switched to my sober mode, they have to be convinced of how devastated I am that Kevin is trying to leave me.
"Nina? Are you okay? I just heard you yell." Annabelle asked looking worried.
I began to cry, "How can I be okay? I tried to get Kevin's feelings rekindled but he refused to accept it. Even though he still wants me, he's doing only what that bitch wants him to do."
Sheila sighed, "I feel bad that my brother is doing this to you. He doesn't know the kind of person that witch is, that's why he's treating you this way."
"This is why we have to expose her as fast as we can. We can't let her get away with this. She has to pay for bringing chaos into this family." Annabelle gritted her teeth.
I smiled inwardly. At least I easily got the family on my side, now I have to get my Kevin. Did I say my Kevin? Yes, he's mine. Because the truth is, I still love and want him for myself. He is mine, mate or not.
"Then what happens to Robin?" My wolf asked again.
"I told you to shut up!!" I yelled before I could stop myself. Sheila and Annabelle stared at me in shock. How do I explain this now?
"What's wrong? Who are you talking to?" Sheila asked suspicious.
I gave a nervous laugh, "You know I'm not alone. I was talking to my wolf. It won't stop pestering me to get back with Kevin."
I tried to make my explanation look real. I hope they buy it, because I have no other explanation as to why I am acting like a psycho now.
"You should try and keep your voice down. We may think you're going crazy."
"That's enough Sheila. She literally came back from a traumatic experience. She must be feeling so down, you should comfort her not give useless advises." Annabelle scolded Sheila.
She pouted, "Mom. I'm not making her feel bad. I am actually looking out for her. I don't want anyone else to insult her."
Annabelle sighed, "Anyway, that's not the main issue now. I have no idea where Kevin and that witch went. The mere fact that he goes out with her makes me so worried. What if she finally succeeds in trapping him?"
"I have a suggestion." I stopped them.
They looked at me in anticipation.
"Why don't we just tell Kevin the kind of person she is? Why don't we expose her so he sees for himself. No matter what, he will be able to tell between good and evil." I suggested.
"Umm... I don't see anything wrong with this idea. The only problem is, we tried that and it didn't work. My brother will not believe us until that girl finally kills him." Sheila sighed
I palmed my face, "I may have underestimated this girl too much. She seems to be doing a lot of things to everyone here. We must act faster."
I have a plan. Something that will drive her far away from this place. I may not need to kill her at the moment, I can always do that when she loses all the support she has from Kevin.
"You may want to come closer for this." I told them.
They looked at each other, shrugged and brought their ears closer. I told them about my plans. Their eyes widened in shock, they looked at me strangely.
"And you think this will work?"
I nodded in assurance, "I am a hundred percent sure it will work. There's nothing to be afraid of."
"That is way too dangerous mom. We can't involve Robin in anything. It's either he screws things up, or he gets himself killed. Either way, he's going to be in trouble." Sheila protested.
"I know, but we have to take risks. I can't sleep well anymore because of her. It is no longer funny, my family's tearing apart because of her. She's doing things even without lifting a finger."
"She keeps showing that innocent face of gees. One would be easily deceived thinking she is sincere. She's not." I frowned.
Just thinking about that girl everytime gives me hot blood. I mean she's just too much. I'm not going to sit by and watch a stupid Omega witch take away everything that's supposed to be mine. I'll do anything to get her out of the way for good. At least Annabelle and her daughter are eating out of my palms now.
"You shouldn't think about it too much Nina." Annabelle said.
I touched my forehead. I am getting a real headache and it's not funny. That tiny witch is making my life unbearable. I suddenly got an idea. I don't know how it's going to sound to them though, I would like to do anything to get her out of the way. The easy or the hard way is where I'll go.
"What are you thinking about Nina? Mom told you not to think about it. Remember you're still sick and this is not good for your health." Sheila asked.
"I have a weird suggestion if you don't mind." I replied.
They both focused on me anxious to know what I want to talk about.
"Tell us about it." Annabelle asked.
"Why don't we..." I whispered to them. They both looked at each other and back at me, they smiled sheepishly.
"That's such a great idea! Why didn't we think about this before?" Sheila exclaimed.
I smiled inwardly, I am such a genius after all. Anything to get Kevin back on my side, I'm willing to take the risks.
"That's quite a great idea. The only problem is that she doesn't suspect anything at all." Annabelle said feeling worried.
I sneered, "That's nothing to worry about. We would get something powerful that would work on even the most powerful witches put together."
"True. Carla should know the best remedy to use. You should try and contact her mother, she will..." Sheila's speech was cut off by a knock on the door.
The room fell silent, "Come in." I said staring at the door.
Robin walked in, we all stared at him in shock. Has Robin been eavesdropping on us all these while?
"Robin? What are you doing here?" Annabelle asked him.
"I came to check on my sick sister in law. I wasn't expecting to see you here, are you having trouble sleeping?" He asked us.
"No, we're here to take care of Nina. We heard her scream that's why we came to keep her company." Sheila retorted.
Robin chuckled, "Are you all unable to sleep because of my brother's new Luna? That's quite sad, she is out with my brother having a great time while you all can't sleep because of them. Isn't that a bit unfair to you?"
"No one asked for your opinion Robin. You're just so annoying." Sheila scoffed.
"You see, you should try getting together with her family, she is hated and wanted by them. Why not send her back to him?" He suggested.
As much as Robin might be unserious and sometimes stupid, this is such a great idea. I didn't know she's hated by her own family especially her father. This is going to be to my advantage again, this would go well with my new plan.
"Really? How do you even know that?" Annabelle asked him suspicious.
He shrugged, "I have my sources. Besides Kevin went to fight her family once. The only way you can get rid of her is to get her back to her family."
I narrowed my eyes at him. Is this true? How did Robin even get such an information? Then I remembered what he did to her family house, of course. Why didn't I think about this since? My brain cells must be dead and needs to be renewed. I acted like this is the first time I'm hearing such a thing.
"If what he is saying is true, then we might have an advantage to our side. How about trying to talk to him and see how this works out for us." Sheila suggested.
Annabelle nodded in agreement, "We should try doing that too."
"I would investigate and get his contact. You can talk to him through there and get him to see people. That's all I can help you to do." Robin added.
Annabelle smiled at him, "I would appreciate that Robin, that's also the only thing I would like you to do. Let me handle the rest by myself."
Robin smirked, "Good night then."
He walked out of the room after secretly winking at me. I also secretly rolled my eyes, Sheila and Annabelle left the room a while later. I was left all alone and I still wanted to see Kevin. Where could he have gone with that witch? He's not back yet, I am thinking she must be casting her spells on him again.
The nerve of the useless bitch! I just want to end her life! I stayed by the window watching the night workers go round the mansion. Then a car drove in when it was very late, I was already falling asleep. I adjusted my night gown and rushed outside. I ran into his arms the moment I saw him, his body stiffened.
"Kevin! I've been so worried about you. I wanted to see you but you left without telling anyone, I got worried." I said, looking at the witch and provoking her.
She pulled me away from him rudely, then stepped in front of him preventing me from getting close to him.
"What do you think you are doing Nina? This is my mate! My man, you are not allowed to hug or touch him that way!" She ordered.
I frowned, "Who are you to tell me what to do? I have been there way before you arrived, you are the stranger her. Leave my way!"
Kevin pulled her back and got in between us.
"That's enough girls. You shouldn't argue this late at night. Everyone is asleep, your noise would wake them up."
"You should talk to her instead Kevin. She has no right to come between us, she is just a useless wolf who is cliching herself to any man she sees." I replied.
She raised her hand to hit me, then stopped. She took Kevin's hand and led him away. That got me completely infuriated! How dare she? She now controls Kevin? He did not protest when she took him away. After unsuccessfully talking to Kevin, I walked back to my room. I met the door open, I thought I had closed it.
I closed the door behind me and switched the lights on, I also remember leaving it on before I left the room. I got a big scare when I saw a transformed wolf on my bed. I recognize who this person is.
"Robin." I called rolling my eyes.
He changed to his human form, laying naked on the bed with his cock erected. Here goes another long night.
