CHAPTER 51

~ BACK AT THE MANSION ~
The guards and the doctor all went back to the mansion in fear. They didn't know how Kevin would react, one thing's for sure, they are in big trouble. They all knelt down in front of Kevin shakily with their heads bowed. Kevin saw the way the acted, he sensed something was wrong immediately. He got scared that something may have happened to Sia on the way.
"What are you doing back here? None of you picked my calls all day? Where is the prisoner?" He asked.
Sheila and Nina came down at this time when they heard Kevin's voice. They that Sia had been taken to the hospital. Sheila had wanted to protest but got no chance to.
"Actually Alpha..." Kevin's brow arched in amusement.
"I mean your majesty... She... She escaped." Doctor Henry said making Kevin's heart jump.
He narrowed his eyes, they turned red immediately. The others moved behind the doctor cowering in fear, they sensed danger.
"She did what?!" He growled shaking the whole building.
They continued shaking in fear, Nina and Sheila also watched in anger.
"She tricked us. The car broke down, we went to check and she ran out of the car while we were fixing it." Henry replied with sweaty palms.
"What are these idiots talking about? Whatever happened to chasing her?! I mean wasn't she chained? How could a weak omega escape those chains?" Sheila yelled loud.
"We...we chased her. She shifted and broke the chains. We have no idea how she got the strength, we could not get her."
Kevin growled again, "You incompetent fools! How dare you let a sick person escape from you like that?! You have just twenty four hours to get her back, or you are going to be executed!"
"Get lost you idiots!" Sheila yelled at them.
They all got up and scurried away. Kevin rushed to his chambers in anger, this is worse than he thought. If Sia is running away from him, then it's possible that she is truly responsible for what happened to his mother. Her actions have deemed her guilty as charged.
Sheila stood in front of him, "This is all your fault. You allowed that criminal to leave this premises, now she escaped. Is that not enough for you to see that she is evil?"
"I am not talking about this with you Sheila. The criminal could be anyone, no one is to be trusted." Kevin replied without looking at her.
"Kevin, how long will you defend her? She ran away without thinking twice, do you think she's still worthy to be called your mate?" Nina asked cutting in.
"If she is guilty of what she is charged, I would do the necessary. Even if it means killing her with my own hands, but it is not up to you to decide." He walked out on them.
Sheila scoffed angrily. The last thing she needs is for that witch to have escaped, she may become more dangerous than they think.
"What if she comes back to do more harm?" She asked Nina worriedly.
Nina who is less worried replied, "You heard your brother. The only thing we can do is keep pushing her to the edge. Her mate would be the one to end her."
"You think my brother only has the mate bond with her, haven't you noticed the way he looks at her? He is in love with her!"
"I don't how that's going to be relevant when one turns evil. Sometimes people have to sacrifice the ones they love just to ensure peace and order." Nina refused.
"I should go check on mother, we can't be too sure of anything." Sheila rushed upstairs.
Nina sighed, "This is worse than I thought."
She walked to her bedroom, only to find Robin waiting on the bed.
"You need to stop doing that. What if someone else came in?" She scolded him.
He smirked, "I don't see someone else coming into your room without your permission after I told everyone to stay off your room, unless they are called."
Her eyes widened, "What?! Why would you do that?! What about Kevin, Nina and mother?"
"They won't be coming anytime soon. Thanks to you, they now have work on their hands."
"What... What do you mean thanks to me?" She stuttered.
Robin stood up straightening his clothes, he moved closer to her patting her shoulder.
"I know everything you did. I know that Omega is not responsible for my mother's poisoning. I know you all planned to poison her, but she beat you at your own gain. I kinda admire that girl now."
"What? You know?" Nina asked in disbelief.
Robin has been spying on them all along. Yet he rebuked Sia like she was responsible, he knows everything.
"Yes darling, I know everything. I suppose you have mother the antidote already. I won't say anything to my idiot brother, but you all need to be careful. He's not that stupid not to make an investigation, if you're caught. It would be drastic for you." He answered.
Nina was dumbfounded, not knowing what to say to him. Robin felt glad he fulfilled his mission of putting fear in her heart. He has noticed she began to change the moment she got back. She rarely talks to him and she is more focused on getting Kevin back. It seems her affection for Kevin is coming back.
"What exactly are you trying to do Robin? Are you blackmailing me?" Nina clenched her fists.
Robin looked down at her fists, then smiled at her.
"Of course not sweetie. Why would I do that? We are on the same side remember? Still, I don't want you to forget you betrayed my brother. My brother doesn't know the truth about your supposed disappearance and my father's death."
"You're still saying the same thing. What's the difference? You are clearly blackmailing me!" She yelled.
Robin laughed, "You should think carefully before you yell at me. I can crush you without having to do anything. I want you to leave my mother and sister out of your stupid plans yo get that Omega away from Kevin."
"I never asked your mother, she actually accepted it due to her hatred for that girl." She retorted.
"That may be true, but I still don't care. I don't want you to involve her in your stupid plans anymore. Don't ever do something as dangerous as this. You took my father's life, I won't watch you take the ones I love most from me again." He growled, his eyes turning red.
Nina moved back, a bit scared of Robin's sudden outburst. He is putting the blame on Nina even though his mother and sister are adults. Robin walked out of the room after pecking her lips.
Nina wiped her lips angrily, she felt like she has to do something about Robin. But then he is becoming too powerful and hard to tame. She fell on the couch tiredly. One is her problem with the witch, now Robin is also suspicious of her. That will only spell doom for her.

KEVIN
I crushed the wine glass with my hands. They pierced through my flesh making my hand bleed, but that is nothing compared to the pain I fell losing Sia right now. I can't stand the fact that she is no longer with me. How did I let myself lose her so stupidly. Does this mean that she really isn't innocent? A knock came to my door.
"Come in." I said without looking at the door.
I heard footsteps slowly moving towards me, I already guessed who they are. These fools! Don't tell me they are coming to give me another bad news.
"Where is she?" I asked in a cold voice.
They knelt on the floor, shaking again. They're so useless.
"We didn't see her your majesty. Please give us a chance to make up for our mistakes?" They pleaded.
I scoffed, "How are you supposed to do that? Are you going to create someone that looks like her? Or are you going to make her appear magically?"
"Your majesty, I think she had this all planned out before." Henry said.
I snapped at him, "How dare you talk about her that way?"
"No, that's not what I mean. I just regained my memory your majesty. I was hypnotized before." He replied.
"What are you talking about?"
"Your majesty, I don't know when I asked you to take her to the hospital. I tested her and found out she is pregnant..."
"Stop!" He growled, "What did you just say?"
"She is pregnant your majesty. She cast a spell on me and made me say those things. I am sorry for being so stupid." He apologized.
"Are you sure of what you are saying? How can she be pregnant after you said she was seriously ill. What exactly is the truth? Stop trying to get yourself out of the situation you created, she's a wolf and not a witch."
This all confusing. Could it be that my suspicions about Sia are right? Is she truly a witch? If she really is pregnant, why would she want to run away with the baby?
"No! I promise I am telling you the truth." He assured me.
I thought for a while, "Leave. I will call you when I have made my decision."
They left immediately without saying anything. They could have ran away, but I would catch them if they did. I will deal with them after I have figured everything out. It is all so confusing to me.
She's pregnant. Why then is she running away with my child? What exactly is going on in that girl's head? She has become so bold and unpredictable. It's like she wanted this to happen in the first place.
While in thoughts, I received a call from an unknown number on my phone.
"I heard you have lost contact with my daughter. I only have one request to make, find her fast or you are going yo regret it." The voice said after I picked the call.
I guessed who it is, Sia's evil father. Why is he calling to threaten me about a daughter he doesn't care about?
"Why are you calling me?" I asked like I didn't hear him before.
"You!... I know everything going on there. You better find her else..."
"Else? You're going to kill me? Will you get the city police to arrest me?" I cut him off.
"You really have some nerve!"
"You do realize you are talking to a king, the leader of the WhiteMoon pack? I can do whatever I want with you, all I need is to get permission from your king."
Silence.
"I have no idea how you got my phone number, and I don't care. Let this be the last time you are going to call me. It's a fair warning, you don't care about her. Stop acting like you do." I ended the call after that.
I sighed in frustration. Why are you doing this to me Sia? I called all my men in the city, and every other person to form a search party. I told them to search everywhere including her pack. I can't be sure of anything, they might be hiding her. It's either she went there or they caught her. And if she is there, she is not in good hands.
I would wipe out the entire pack of anything happens to her or the baby. I called Seth and asked him to drive me around. I should also search for her myself, hopefully I'll find her. We drove everywhere I could think of, we even entered the forest. I howled yet no good news. It's like she disappeared from the face of the earth, where could she have gone?
