CHAPTER 38

NINA
"She's awake! Mom, come!" I heard Sheila call.
I smiled inwardly. My plans are working just the way I want it. I slightly opened my eyes, they were standing beside me with smiles on their faces.
"My dear, can you hear me? How are you feeling?" Annabelle asked.
I tried to sit up, Sheila helped me up.
"Can I get some water to drink?" I demanded weakly.
"Get her some water Sheila!" Annabelle commanded her.
"Yes mother." She ran out.
This is so good. I will have them eating from my palms. They will never suspect a thing. Robin is such a genius. Now I can live without hiding and still live luxuriously. It's obvious they prefer me to that petty Omega girl.
Sheila returned with the water, I collected it from her and sipped a little. Then I returned the cup to her. She dropped it on a table and came back to me.
"So tell us, how are you feeling?"
"I feel a bit weak. I can't be fine Mother. Not after what I saw today." I said forming tears.
Annabelle looked worried, "Poor thing. You must have gone through a lot. I can't begin to imagine what happened to you in all these months."
I began to cry, "Mother it hurts a lot. While I was busy trying my best to remember your son, he already replaced me. I came running as soon as I got my memory back. Only to find out that he has someone else already. He forgot about me so fast."
Annabelle hugged me, Sheila tried to comfort me by massaging my hands.
"I understand how you feel my dear. I am so sorry about everything you had to go through. All you did was help our family and it cost you a lot. Please forgive us."
"My brother is not who you think he is. I have a feeling that witch cast a spell on him. We have to stop her, that's the only way you can have him back. I want you to know that we are in support of you, and will do anything to help you." Sheila assured.
That put my mind at rest. Coming in was easier than I thought. But then they called her a witch, she cast a spell on him? Isn't she a low rank werewolf? Robin never told me any of this, or he doesn't know yet?
"She's a witch? But isn't she a werewolf? I don't understand." I asked.
"She's not a high rank wolf. She's an Omega wolf but all that is just a shield to hide who she truly is. She is an evil witch, a reincarnation of another witch sent to have revenge on our family." Annabelle replied.
"But isn't that just an assumption? How do you know? She looks so innocent." I inquired more.
"We confirmed through my best friend Carla. You know she's a witch right?"
I nodded in agreement, "Oh wow. This is so deep. How did Kevin get involved with such a girl that he let her get so close to him?"
Sheila scoffed, "She used to be his assistant. She used that to get close to him and enter his bed. Now he sees her as his mate instead of his worker. That girl is a scheming snake. I wonder why I couldn't see that the first day she came here. I should have let Robin kill her."
This is interesting. All these are going to help me in gaining Kevin's love for me back and chasing the bitch away from our lives. Then I will make him pay for rejecting me and replacing me so soon.
"If this is all true, we have to do something before she carries out her mission. It seems she is one step ahead of us." I said.
Sheila agreed, "Yes. We have been planning how to get rid of her before you came. Now that you're here, it will be easier for us. You will be able to distract my brother's attention in order for us to carry out our plans."
That's much better. In this case, everything will be in my favor. No matter what they do, I still get to win in the end.
"For now, have some rest. Eat good food, have a change of good clothes and become the queen you are. I will send some maidens to do everything for you now."
I smiled. Annabelle left to get those workers for me. Three of them brought some food while there are at my disposal to give me anything I want. I feel so happy.
It's been long I have people give me this kind of treatment, I feel like a queen again.
Sheila helped me with my hair, by the time they were done, I couldn't recognize myself. I looked as beautiful as my old self, I smiled inwardly.
"You're so pretty Nina. My brother will be confused when he sees you. He's going to dump that witch for sure." Sheila complemented.
"Are you sure? He doesn't look like he's interested in me anymore. I have no idea how to bring him back to like me." I asked.
She shook her head, "No negativity Nina. My brother is going to be yours again. Only you will be his Luna."
"I hope so."
The door suddenly opened, Kevin walked in. He stopped on seeing me, he looks pleased by the changes made already.
"My love! You came!" I ran to his arms.
Luckily, he did not push me away. He gently disengaged and looked into my eyes.
"How are you doing Nina?" He asked calmly.
I sighed sadly, "I am not fine Kevin. I want you, I need you badly but you keep pushing me away because of her."
"Uhm.. I think we need to excuse you guys." Sheila said, she drove the maids outside and left us alone.
"She's my mate. I thought we had an agreement on that."
I moved away from him and sat on a chair, "We did had an agreement at the beginning of our relationship. But as we soon fell in love, you promised never to leave or replace me."
"I promised never to abandon you. I never said I will ignore my mate."
She scoffed, "She's an Omega wolf. Why can't you reject her? She is not up to your level, why choose her over me? I thought you hated Omegas."
He palmed his face, "Nina please. This is not the time to argue about all these okay? You have to understand, you were gone for a long time. Even you would have moved on if I were in your shoes. Things are not the same anymore, a whole lot has changed."
"Does this mean that you feel nothing for me anymore? You want me out of your life?" I asked with teary eyes.
In reality, it hurts to know he doesn't feel anything for me any longer. This is so annoying, no one chooses a lowlife over a queen like me.
"I care about you a lot. The only thing that can be between us now is our friendship. Whatever we shared before is in the past, and will stay there. I hope you understand Nina, I have to go now."
He turned to leave, I hugged him from behind making him stop.
"No Kevin! I won't accept that! I won't give up just like that no matter how you try to make me. I will fight for you, I can't lose Kevin. I can't let you go!" I cried still hugging him.
He gently turned around pulling me away from him.
"You need to rest Nina. Let's talk when you're more calm."
Then he left the room. I felt so angry, I growled loud. I almost changed to my wolf form but I controlled myself. This is not Kevin, she must have bewitched him truly. Then I have been mad at him for nothing when he is only the victim.
What are you doing Nina? You already betrayed him remember? You still have to get revenge on him and help Robin destroy him. My subconscious mind reminded me.
A while later, the door creaked open. I quickly adjusted my sober face but stopped when I saw who it is.
"It's so good to see you. You look so...ressurected." I heard Robin's voice at the door.
"Come in already, I noticed the sarcasm." I rolled my eyes and got myself a drink.
He faked a sorry face. "Come on sister in-law, is that how to treat your brother in-law who came to say hi? It's not everyday you see resurrected people you know."
"Well brother in-law, I've got some bad news for you. Your brother clearly wants nothing to do with me anymore, therefore all this will be a waste. We won't be able to distract him anymore." I told him.
"I don't think that will happen with my mother and sister around. They adore you. They'll do anything to make you happy, you have them eating from your palms now."
I finished my drink, "All the same, it's going to be hard to do it."
He stared at me lustfully, he's not even paying attention to what I am saying.
"Are you even listening to anything Robin?!" I yelled.
He licked his lips, "You have no idea how much I want to rip that dress off and take you right here."
"Seriously Robin? That's all you're thinking about? Do not even think about it Robin. It's way too early, what if someone walks in and catches us. Then all our plans would be ruined because you." I scolded him.
"Relax Nina, nothing's going to happen. Turn around." He ordered.
I wanted to protest but he turned me around too fast using his werewolf abilities, he tore my panties and plunged into me.
"Ahhh... Fuck."
I let out a loud moan but covered my mouth to avoid getting attention. Robin is such a sex freak, he is too stubborn. I hope he doesn't get us in trouble.
