CHAPTER 33

SIA
I am more than happy today. He fully introduced me to everyone. I know most people are not in support of his decision because of how they see me. I have to prove my worth for them if I want to remain Luna. I succeeded in making my mate accept me. Now the whole pack is left.
Especially his mother and sister. I don't know about Robin though. I seriously want nothing to do with him. He doesn't like me, he doesn't look like he will ever change.
The maids did a great job in dressing me up. Everything seems so new to me. The only people who have helped me dress in the past are my sister Patty and my mother. But that is for special occasions.
Kevin is going through a lot in the pack. I heard about all the problems they are having at hand. The supplies being hijacked, people going missing and their dead bodies being found later. It is obvious someone is trying to ruin Kevin.
Someone is trying to tear this pack apart and make him look like an incompetent leader. This should not happen. I can't watch it happen to him. I must do something.
••••
"You're really stressed out. Can I give you a massage?" I asked him while I hugged him from behind.
"I'd really appreciate that. I need it. I need you." He replied.
"I need you more."
I slowly gave him a massage while kissing his neck and hair. He relaxed on the couch, closed his eyes.
"You have no idea how relieving this is." He said.
I smiled, "This is the least I could do. Is there something else you think I can do for you?"
He opened his eyes, then suddenly pulled me that I fell on him.
"You can do a lot." He said, his voice husky.
I felt his hardness throbbing me. Then I remembered how he threatened to deal with me in the car. I gulped, me and my big mouth. He carried me from the couch and moved me to the bed. The rest, is history.
•••••
It's evening already and Kevin has gone out. He ordered the maids to be at my service and bring whatever I want for me. He asked me not to come out of my room just yet. I heeded to his advice and stayed in the chambers. Luckily, there's Netflix and food.
But I want to do more. Not now, later on. I should be worried about this pack too and provide solutions. Since someone is attacking all the supplies, he should do something to prevent that.
The door suddenly barged open, Annabelle walked in with Sheila. I thought Kevin warned them not to come here? I know they're here to make my life miserable since Kevin is not around.
"Just look at the witch! She's busy watching TV when she caused problems for the pack. How dare you come into my son's life and cause him nothing but pain?!" She growled.
I moved away from them, "Believe me, it is not my intention to hurt your son. I am just a victim of circumstances. Please understand."
"Oh shut up you bitch! That same old innocent fake story won't move us anymore. We want you out of our house and our lives. We are going to get you out even if it means getting our hands soiled in your blood." Sheila said with so much hatred.
I moved away from them. But their eyes turned red, they look fiery. They want to attack me I can feel it. I can't fight the two of them alone. They searched for the perfect time to come. When there's no one to help me. How I wish Kevin was here?
Then I remembered, he won't always be here for me. I need to learn to defend myself. Kevin has a lot of responsibilities as it is. I don't plan on making things worse for him.
"Please calm down. I promise I have nothing against you. Whatever you think of me is totally wrong. Please don't hurt me." I pleaded with tears clouding my eyes.
"Too late! Get her Sheila."
I covered my head with my face down and let out a loud scream.
"Noooo!!!"
I was expecting scratches or heavy landing on my body but I didn't see anything. Everywhere seems quiet. I slowly looked up and saw the living room somehow scattered. I looked around for Sheila and Annabelle. I saw Annabelle getting up and helping Sheila up.
What happened? Who knocked them down? Who helped me? How? This happened way too fast.
"I told you didn't I? She's a witch! She's not a real wolf. Her real power is her sorcery. She's an evil witch! She has come to destroy our family. Look at what she's done to us." Annabelle fumed.
I looked around to see this witch, only to realize that I'm the only one in the room with them. Am I the witch? How the hell am I a witch? I'm confused.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't do anything. I have no idea what happened." I explained.
Sheila scoffed, "You think you can fool us right? You think you're all powerful and mighty. We won't fight you today, but Mark my words. You are going to die."
I gasped and held my chest terrified. They're threatening to kill me when I have done nothing wrong.
"Let's go mother." Sheila took Annabelle who is staring daggers at me away.
I stood there frozen at my spot. What just happened? What did I do to them? What is going on with me? I fell on the couch still unable to believe what happened.
By any chance, am I a witch? This is not the first time I am experiencing these strange things.
Everything is happening so fast that I can't explain. I know I didn't do anything to them on purpose, perhaps there's someone helping me? There has to be someone doing all this and not me.
Kevin came back a short while later, I rushed to hug him like a kid expecting her parents for a long time. I have no idea what came over me. I had done that before realizing that would make him suspect things. I don't want to cause more trouble between him and his family as it is.
I should be handling things on my own from now on.
"Are you okay? You seem tensed and worried. What happened while I was gone?" He asked looking into my eyes.
I smiled, "Nothing happened. You know I'm still not used to this place and you left me alone. It felt so boring and I missed you."
He stared into my eyes searching for answers, to find out if I lied or not. But I made sure to keep my expression simple and not think about what happened.
"I know how hard it is for you. I want you to relax and don't worry. Everything will fall into place. We're going to conquer this." He assured me.
I nodded, "Yes my king."
We sat on the couch, I can't take my eyes off him. It is still a shock for me every minute that this man is mine. To think that things aren't going so well for me.
"The town's supplies being cut off is a big challenge to our side. I'm worried about the people, there could be an uproar soon." He said.
I sighed, I wish I could see those behind this. I shouldn't have made that wish, my head began to turn and I felt dizzy. I heard Kevin's distant voice talking to me.
'The ones closer are the enemies.' was what I heard then everything came back to normal.
Where did this voice come from? I don't know if this is my inner mind but it's giving me a clue to what is happening.
"Sia! Are you okay? Can you hear me?" Kevin asked looking confused.
I nodded, "I am fine. I just felt dizzy for a while."
"Do you want me to get you anything?"
I shook my head.
"No. I'm fine really. I was just wondering, have you thought that the people doing this could be the ones close to you?"
He raised a brow amused, "The ones close to me? Like who?"
I shrugged, "I don't know. But they say a man's greatest enemy is the friend closest to him. Perhaps you might have decided to bring secret supplies and one way or the other, those people still find out. I thought what you discuss with the council is private, how come it's known by those intruders?"
"You know, you're making a lot of sense. I didn't want to think to that direction. Now I do, I just wonder who could be behind all this?"
I have a lot of people in mind. His family are close to him and have access to council meetings. There are also the council members to be considered. No one is to be trusted. Most especially if there's someone like Robin around.
