CHAPTER 104: LIKE AN OBEDIENT SLAVE

I was pacing in the vast living room when the police arrived. As time was of the essence, they didn’t waste a single second the minute they entered the household and immediately commenced their work at the basement. I was all ears at what the chief of police was telling me, while one of his men made the call to Dylan Frazer.


Just before the call concluded, Lewis appeared from the door and swiftly walked beside me. And right after almost an hour of conversing with the random informant, we headed back to the living room to finalize the details of our course of action.


I didn’t interfere first and simply listened to the chief of police’s plans and instructions, same goes with Lewis, who sat beside me on the sofa. He set a certain day, which was scheduled to take place in two days prior to today, where they will personally be heading to Maldives to meet Mr. Frazer and to arrest Nicole.


“I will come along” My sudden statement made everyone in the living room stare at me with disbelief, especially my fiance. But even before anyone could protest, I continued. “I want to witness up close and personal when you guys arrest her. I made a promise to my father that I would be around the time of her captivity and I don’t intend to break my oath to him.”


“Given the fact that what we are dealing with wasn’t as complex as some cases we’ve handled in the past, since this wasn’t a group of criminals we are up against but a single woman, precautions must still be administered and taken into consideration. I highly suggest that you let the police handle this operation, Miss Hunt, for your safety” The chief of police earnestly conveyed, which Lewis was quick to approve.


“He is right, Penelope. Let them do their job and we should wait here instead. It would be best if we stay behind and just let the police do what they do best.”


I glanced at Lewis first with firm determination before looking to where the chief of police was seated. “No! I will come along and that’s final. End of discussion. I’ve been yearning for this great day to come and there’s no way I would let this pass without beholding it personally.”


Seeing my unwavering decision, the chief finally approved my petition and granted me the permission to come along. After several more hours of planning the step by step actions once we arrived in Maldives, the group of policemen departed the premises and left both Lewis and I alone in the spacious area.


“Are you certain about coming along with them, Baby? The chief of police was right, that although we are dealing with a single woman, it is still dangerous to interfere with the operation. Why don’t we just let them go there in Maldives and just wait here for their arrival?”


“I want to bear witness of every step in Nicole’s captivity, Lewis. This would grant me great relief and peace seeing how they captured and handcuffed her. Please let’s not discuss this, because none of what you will say would persuade me to see it your way.”


He sighed heavily before wrapping his arms around me and held me tightly. “Alright, if that’s what you wish then so be it. We have to prepare then” My eyes gazed up questioningly at him. He spoke again even before I could utter a word. “I wouldn’t let you go there on your own if that’s what made you stare at me like that, Baby. Either I come along as well or you won’t come with them, end of discussion” He spoke with finality and authoritativeness, making me speechless but utterly joyful for his deep concern and affection towards me.


The exuberant feeling I now bear inside my heart with the thoughts of finally finding the much awaited peace my father deserved, made me utter the words I am fully aware Lewis was dying to hear.


“After this, we can finally settle down, Lewis. After this much awaited capture of Nicole, I guess we can start preparing for our matrimony.”


“You’ve read my mind, Baby. That was exactly what I was thinking. It’s about time for me to fulfill my promise this time to your father and make you legally mine” He hugged me tighter as he gently pressed his lips on my hair. We stayed on the sofa clinging on with each other's warmth as overflowing joy enraptured my entire being knowing that this turmoil would soon end.

“I’ve already talked to my friend, Michael. He told me he would contact me the soonest once he spoke to the leader of the group. He gave me a day to wait, so we would be expecting his call by tomorrow.”


“You really think this would work, Pamela?”


“You bet I do. We got this in the bag, Honey. It would be just a matter of time before Michelle will be back in your arms. I am already thinking of places where we could elope, somewhere far where we could start a new life together with Michelle.”


“I just hope everything will end according to our plans. I would never forgive myself if something bad happens to my daughter.”


I cuddled him closer as I gently stroked his hair to ease his disturbance. I couldn’t blame Michael for demonstrating his weak side when it comes to his daughter, she was everything to him. I would also feel the same if I was in his shoes.


If I had to promise him the world and the heavens just for our plans to manifest, then so be it. I couldn’t afford to lose on this one. This was my only last hope to finally avenge myself from Penelope and I’ll be damned if Michael will have second thoughts and eventually back out in the process. If I had to brainwash him just for him to go all the way with it, then I would do everything and anything to make it happen.


“You got nothing to worry about, Honey. These men are experts. They would do anything, as in anything, in exchange for a huge sum of money. Marcus wouldn’t have faith in them if he didn’t know how this group works. Believe me, Honey, our long wait will be over and we will finally live happily and carefree once this is over and done with.”


“All I ever wanted was to be with you and Michelle, Pamela. There’s nothing in this world I ever dreamed of than that. If I have to bend and crawl in fours for a lifetime just to make it happen, then I would be more than willing to do so.”


My eyes swiftly landed on his. There was still a bit of fear and uncertainty that could be seen in them, but I knew Michael so well. He would do anything just for me and for his most beloved daughter. He worshiped at my feet and would give anything I desire. I would use this dedication of his and his frailty towards me to tighten my rein on his neck and make sure he would obey whatever I say. I would be the captain of the ship that would definitely lead us into concrete gloriousness and victory.


“You don’t need a lifetime to achieve that dream, Michael. We will make it happen soon. I promise you, we will fulfill that dream of yours soon enough.”


With that, I crushed my lips on his and let a hand crawl down underneath the comforter where it travels to a certain part of him I knew was eager to be touched. A moan escaped him the minute I cupped and started rubbing his manhood, which made me grinned as he began to hungrily kiss me.


“Oh, Pamela…” He groaned heavily as my hand continued to knead his growing member.


“Worship my body, Honey. Make me extremely happy and satisfied tonight.”


He did what he was told without being ordered twice. Michael was like an obedient slave as he commenced moving on top of me, which extremely pleased me with so much content.
