CHAPTER 105: ENJOY NOW AND GRIEVE LATER
I was extremely ecstatic and overwhelmingly thrilled in the coming of days right after I received a call from Penelope Hunt’s camp. At first, I thought they didn’t believe any words I told them knowing a lot were eager as I was with the ransom money. I assumed that several people had attempted with whatever information they could come up with just to have that most coveted huge sum, but I was confident enough and certain that I only had the most reliable information Ms. Hunt was in search of.
I couldn't contain the exuberant feeling I am now experiencing. No words could ever explain the overflowing joy inside my heart and the excitement that goes with it as I count the days inside my head. I am already thinking of what I wish to have and where to spend the hefty amount I would be acquiring. It would be just a matter of days where I would be a million dollars richer. And that thought made me want to celebrate now, which swiftly causes my feet to head towards the door as I think of where to have fun and be merry tonight.
I ended up at the bar where I first met Nicole. As I ordered my first drink of the night, memories of that day flashed back inside my head that made me smile widely. Who would have thought that meeting Nicole would bring me such luck? Of all the ladies I could have met that night, fate had brought me to her, in which I am utmostly thankful about. Not only did I enjoy every minute I spent having sex with her, she even led me to become an instant millionaire, which I never imagined would ever happen to me. Never in my wildest dreams have thought that such a blessing will come my way, which is why I am extremely delighted right now that our paths crossed that night.
While my mind was recollecting that blessed night, my eyes suddenly caught sight of my bringer of luck, who just entered the premises in her ever sizzling and sexy outfit. My eyes traveled to her petite body as she made her way towards the bartender’s counter.
I wasn’t planning on showing myself to her anymore right after I gave the information to Ms. Hunt’s camp. I was thinking that it would be best not to further associate myself with her, but since it seems fate had brought her here tonight of all the places where she could have gone, I might as well seize the moment and be with her for the very last time before totally dispatching her.
‘Another night of titillating sex with her wouldn't mean a thing anyway. I’ll simply consider this as a farewell fuck and my consolation to her for giving me such an enormous blessing. I’ll give her a parting remembrance she will definitely not forget.’
A dark and vicious smile smudged on my face as I walked to where she was. My lips automatically caressed her bare shoulder that made her slightly jolt and gazed behind her. Her anxious eyes were instantly replaced with ease as a delighted smile appeared on her beautiful face.
“Hi there, gorgeous! I never thought I’d see you here tonight!” I loudly uttered just after crushing my lips over hers as my fingers teasingly glided on her exposed cleavage.
“I got bored at the villa, so I decided to have a shot or two to buy myself time before going to bed. What are you doing here? Are you by yourself?”
“Just feel like celebrating the night for bagging a very successful transaction I had earlier.”
“Really now! Wow! Congratulations to you!”
“I had to thank you as well, Nicole,” She stared at me with confusion as I sat beside her and leaned my body closer.
“Thank me? Why thank me?”
“Because you are my bringer of luck! From the time I met you here that night, my life had never been this fortunate and buoyant. I guess you are my lucky charm after all and I am deeply thankful I met you” I wholeheartedly and honestly conveyed. She eyed me meaningfully before sweetly smiling, obviously delighted at what I said.
“Well this calls for a celebration then! To us!” She raised her cocktail glass and clicked it with mine before taking a sip without removing an eye off me.
We drank for almost an hour before I whispered something to her ear that made her giggle seductively. “Let’s finish this celebration somewhere else. I want to treat you to somewhere fancy tonight, just the two of us and privately.”
I didn’t wait for her approval and swiftly laid some paper bills on top of the counter before snaking a hand on her waist and leading her towards the exit. Since I was expecting a very large amount a few days from now, I didn’t mind booking a suite to spend a night at one of the nearby hotels. Nicole was evidently surprised at what I did as we rode the elevator to our floor.
“It seems someone is very gallant tonight. How big was the transaction you made earlier?”
“Very big. You have no idea how lucky I felt right now that this once in a lifetime opportunity came my way, Nicole. Thanks to my lucky charm” I happily whispered while my eyes lustily gazed at her lips.
Utmost delight was emanating from her face, which made me grin inwardly. If only she knew she was the reason behind my upcoming enormous provision and if only she knew that I sold her out for the sake of money, I bet she would be hellishly in rage at me now. But since she doesn’t have a single clue about what was about to happen to her and what I just did, I would let her be joyful tonight with my company.
‘Enjoy now and grieve later, Nicole Christensen. Better enjoy your remaining days while you still can. With the weight of your crime to the Hunts, I bet it would be a long time before you get to behold the outside world again.’
