Fight Of Lycans

Isabelle

Alistair's body hit against the wall and a crack became visible on the surface, A low groan was the only response that left his mouth.

"You fucking bastard..." Julian attempted to pounce at Kaden but Alistair's command made him stop at his place.

"Julian, don't. This fight is mine..." Alistair sternly spoke and stood up.

I glanced at Kaden whose eyes had the look of vengeance, the want of revenge that swarmed shaded them in darkness. The tug of his lips as he saw Alistair standing him was saying something else--As if Kaden had already planned his next move.

Alistair's cold gaze fell on Kaden and he with full speed pounced at Kaden before like the speed of a swift end Kaden had grabbed him and threw him against another wall.

Blood managed to seep from his nose this time, and this time the sound of the skin of his back getting torn was heard.

The decorations on the wall his body had hit fall down made me remember the night when Alistair had hit dad, the way dad's body hit against this same wall and the blood gushed out of his mouth.

As if history was repeating itself but this time the pawns have changed. The monster was going through the same situation he had put my family in.

As Alistair's body landed on the ground, his body language had changed. There was a stillness in his gaze as he glanced. The glance more likely told something he had figured out, maybe that he couldn't win this time or maybe he wanted to win with.....deceit.

He slowly stood up, his expression changing the slightest. His fingers rubbed together and some dark shadows roamed around them that made themselves barely noticeable. And before I could even warn Kaden Alistair had launched himself at Kaden like before.

This time he succeeded in landing a punch on Kaden's face, a worried gasp tore from my mouth.

"Kaden...."

He stumbled backward at the impact, there was a small cut that appeared at the side of his jaw and the blood had seeped out. Kaden's hand moved to touch the new cut and his brows rose ever so slightly in surprise.

Lycans had rapid healing powers then why wasn't he healing?

"That wound won't heal, Kaden Moretti. That's the thing, I can heal in minutes from your attacks before you can never heal from mines." Alistair lowly chuckled, "You can't complete with my spells."

Oh no...

The same spells he used to hurt my family. The one he used on all his victims.

Kaden was not going to heal and even I couldn't help it. My worried thoughts were broken when I saw Kaden's Jaw clenching and a low growl erupting from his mouth.

His nostrils flared and nails extended, in minutes the fur started making its way out of his skin. He was shifting, he was shifting in his wolf form or maybe it was the feral that couldn't remain beneath his skin anymore.

Alistair seemed to notice it and I saw a smirk tugging at his lips before he began shifting too.

Kaden's fur was midnight blue, as dark as night but at the same tight the shine was those moonlight night when they fall on the lakes. I became lost for a second watching him, I was seeing his Lycan for the first time.

His Lycan did not look like any ordinary wolf, there was a different aura that radiated from him. Powerful and untamable. The black eyes almost matched the color and the shine that gleamed in them like twinkling stars.

The sharp crannies of his were dangerous, could scare anyone but not me.

Everything about his Lycan astonished me, the sight was severe but breathtaking at the same time. I could hardly tear my eyes away from him but then the sight of Alistair's Lycan came in front of them.

Grey fur that had no shine in them, was making him look more dangerous than those shadows of the dark. Unlike Kaden, his eyes were not dark. They were ashy, almost looking purely white. The sight of him caused nothing but disgust.

I didn't doubt his strength, I didn't know if Kaden could win from Alistair. Alistair's powers, his spells everything was built upon the death of the innocents. I knew Kaden wasn't going to give up till his last breath and that's what I feared because I didn't want to see Kaden getting hurt or begin put into the same situation Alistair had put my parents once.

I couldn't bear seeing Kaden taking his last breath...

My worried gaze moved to spot Kaden, there was this fury burning in his eyes that I had never experienced before. He looked deadly.

A mess shrouded my mind, I couldn't contemplate anything. Everything had turned chaotic--my thoughts, the shouts of the guards, and the sound of battling swords in the background that had taken over because of the fight between Jason, Cassandra, and Carter and those guards.

I did not know if letting Kaden get involved in something so hazardous was the right choice or not, but the anger I could see simmering in Kaden I knew that I wasn't going to be able to convince even if there was any way to avoid the fight.

These demons needed to be annihilated...but was I okay with the risk of losing my mate in the revolution? No...

And then before the chaos in my mind could stop, I saw both Lycans running toward each other at full speed. Their huge bodies collided against each other, the impact is so harsh that I felt a swift wind brush past me in a blink.

Then it all was a blur...the movements of both of them were too rapid and undetectable that I could grasp any of the scene going in front of my eyes. All I could see was the beastliness, the hunger of a Lycan to see the opponent accepting defeat, the determination that lay beneath each of their moves.

All the things around the room were shattering, especially the cracks on the walls that became wider as each time by of them would be thrown against the surface that couldn't handle the force of a raging predator.

The gasps horror and the distress each time that washed over me was the only thing I could realize when any of Alistair's moves would impact him.

There was blood leaking from Kaden's wounds I discovered as my eyes managed to glance at them, even underneath the thick fur they could be spotted.

They had dug deep and caused a sudden change in his movements, they could scarcely be expressed as a weakness but the commotion said that even though the wounds had not been able to weaken him they have managed to affect it even if it was the slightest.

Alistair's grey fur was covered in blood too but his wounds were healing and Kaden's were not. Kaden's wounds were not recovering, he was not healing and if this kept going like this Kaden could get seriously injured.

The worrisome thoughts began attacking my mind from every side.

I looked wide-eyed as Kaden and Alistair launched themselves at each other. I saw Kaden grabbing Alistair's neck with his teeth and throwing him against the window.

Alistair's body flew out of the window falling on the dead grass in the backyard, the broken pieces of mirrors dug into his skin but he shook them off before jumping inside the room through the same path.

He loudly growled and attacked Kaden again, this time he became more frantic and vicious.

A particular move if Alistair, where he used his crannies in the attempt to dig them in Kaden's neck caused a low sound of pain to erupt from his mouth. He freed himself from Alistair's grip and attacked back.

My eyes widened when I saw blood leaking from Kaden's neck. The flow was not mild, Alistair had seriously injured Kaden and this was not going to end up well.

Alistair's spells were helping him but Kaden had none. Even Cassandra, Jason, and Carter were busy stopping the guards.

I had to do something...but what could I do...

I did not remember any of the spells I could perform, and even if did I was not sure that they could overpower Alistair's dark twisted trances.

Without thinking about anything, I attempted to run toward Kaden but suddenly a hand caught my wrist stopping me right in my place.

My eyes moved to glance at the person, and it was none other than Julian.

"Leave my hand!" I tried to free my hand from his bruising grip but it only became tighter.

"Draven, get the sword. Let's finish her whilst her mate is busy fighting Alistair."

Draven quickly complied with what his brother said and, I saw him pulling out the sword and walking towards me.

But for some reason, it didn't scare me at all, I felt no fear and maybe wouldn't even care if they took my life. All I cared about was Kaden. I wanted him safe and sound, without any risk to his life even if it mean sacrificing my own life.

"Leave my hand, Julian Giardini!" I shouted and yanked my hand away.

Julian stumbled on his place looking shocked due to my sudden strength.

I took the opportunity to run towards Kaden who was defending Alistair but before I could reach Kaden a sharp feeling pierced through my hand. The feeling of the flesh on my left arms getting split burned through.

The sudden pain made me lose my balance, my feet ended up slipping and I fell to the ground with a shriek that automatically left my mouth.

The tears gathered in my eyes as the pain took over, I glanced back only to find Draven holding the sword that now had a trail of my blood dripping from the edge of it.

"Your mouth and your hands both have started talking and moving more than they should, you need to be taught a lesson before getting killed!" Draven spat and walked toward me with the sharp sword.

"You think you can scare me?! I am not afraid of you and your brothers anymore! So stop with your pathetic attempts to raise the fear that now doesn't exist at all!" I shouted.

The blood continuously ran down my arm from the fresh wound. The pain increased a bit by bit as the flow of the blood increased.

"Then you won't exist too....be ready to say goodbye to your life," Julian spoke loud, his eyes full of rage as he took the sword from Draven's hand and strode toward me.

At that moment I could see my death shining in Julian's dark eyes, the same scenery of him dragging the sword towards my mom flashed in front of my very own eyes.

Maybe this is how it was supposed to end.....maybe I didn't have the fortune to see them paying for what they did to my parents and sister, how they ruined my life.

Julian raised the sword intending to cut through my throat but then the loud growl sounded from the back that shrouded the entire place.

I glanced back and saw Kaden running toward me at full speed despite Alistair who decided to bite onto his shoulder. I looked at the scene with wide eyes as Alistair's crannies dug into Kaden's shoulder, the gush of blood slid from the skin under the thick fur.

He flipped Alistair leaving him slid to the other side of the room as he bit onto his neck and threw him away.

As if everything had slowed down, I could see Kaden's paws advancing in my direction. The dust particles flew into the air with each heavy step he took. The atmosphere getting heavier and heavier.

I glanced back at Julian and saw his attention-getting shifted on Kaden and he ever so cleverly moved his sword away from me secretly pointing it at approaching Kaden's direction but he kept his eyes on me to deceive Kaden into thinking that his intention was still the same.

No.....he was planning to harm him.

I looked back at Kaden, my eyes widen in horror due to the realization of Julian's intention.

I shook my head as I saw him intending to pounce at Julian.

"Kaden, No!"  The shout left my mouth but Kaden's feral's overpowering rage and determination to save its mate didn't let my voice affect him.

He Jumped at Julian and stroked him with the sword. The slicing sound echoed the place leaving me to scream in horror as Kaden's blood came splattering on the side of my face.
