Chapter 26

Jasmine

What seemed like a short passionate encounter with the youngest triplet soon turned out a whole gigantic flame of desire when the other two vampires joined us.

And the outcome was not quite unfamiliar to me, but they did not take it to the extreme since they were as much aware of my sore muscles as I was.

But in the end, I was still left drained out after the activities my body seemed to like the most despite knowing it was much more than it could handle.

Currently, I was in the bathtub sitting on Micheal's lap whilst he massaged my sore back and Archer massaged my feet and Lucien was sitting beside us, occasionally taking any of my hair strands and twirling it around his finger before he'd let it go.

"You are indeed very tiny," Lucien commented as he looked at my hand in his, his fingers lightly brushing over mine.

"No, I am not!" I snapped and withdrew my hand from his hold, obviously offended by his comment.

Apparently, he found my reaction funny and a gleeful chuckle of him was the result that increased the scowl on my face to the point it was etched on my skin.

"Don't laugh." I huffed and this time I heard laughs from the other two vampires.

"So I look funny to all of you?" I asked, the frustration of embarrassment taking over.

"Not at all," Micheal took the cue to speak, "But it's true that are tiny."

"No, I am not tiny. It's just you all are unrealistically huge vampires who can ever tower over a building." I snapped and except for the reaction I accepted I got three laughs from three of them.

God! I couldn't even get mad at them properly because their handsome faces would be distracting me.

"You have got a point though," Archer chuckled.

"Yes! So don't call me tiny because I am not."

"So what should we call you then?" Michael asked, there was roguery in his voice that I could not quite understand.

"Anything else other than 'tiny," I replied.

"How about something that sounds sexy?" Soon as the sentence fell off Micheal's lips, my eyes widened in surprise and my cheeks flushed.

The very familiar smirk tugged at his lips and I could feel it against my skin as he leaned in to place a kiss on my bare shoulder.

"No," I hurriedly spluttered.

"Why?" The question came from Archer and his eyes told that he was carrying on the game his brother had written the beginning of.

"Because...Umm," I struggled in putting my words together, my own stuttering interrupting my sentence.

"Because I want something normal!" I finally managed to blurt it out.

"Sweetheart, normal things are meant to be done by humans. Do we look like humans to you in any way?" The corner of Lucien's mouth twitched upwards as he spoke, the red in his eyes shined brighter.

I did not have any idea why the words made the flashbacks of all the steamy encounters and the number of times they had left my body and mind in a disarray with their movements.

Unintentionally I found the heat pooling on my belly and moisture gathering in my bottom.

And the moment I heard Archer's quick inhale followed by Lucien And Micheal.

Shit! They smelled it.

My teeth automatically bit down my bottom lip and the heat traveled my face.

It was obvious that they would smell it, there was no questioning that the predators who can smell their enemies from miles away can smell their mate's arousal who was sitting right within their reach.

"I don't think you want us to take you, sweetheart. Your pretty body might not be able to handle it....not after what we did in the kitchen." Lucien lowly growled, and a familiar sound rumbled in Micheal's chest that vibrated against my back leaving a chill to run down my spine.

I could already notice the darkening of Archer's eyes and the way his jaw had tightened, the sense of my arousal alone awakened the beast inside of him.

But I knew it, Lucien was quite right about the fact, that my body with my now awfully sore muscles and already covered skin with hickeys and not to mention the ache between my thighs could not handle more than what it had, the sweet torture it loves to feel.

Not knowing how to respond properly, I nodded at his words and leaned against Micheal's chest.

Micheal's hand went back to massaging my shoulders and back and Archer got back to massaging my feet, their movements soothe the discomfort under my skin and between the layers.

Seconds later, A low sigh of relief slipped past my lips but then Lucien's phone rang all of a sudden.

I emitted a quiet gasp at the sudden sound interrupting the silence of the room, and their expressions did not look impressed too.

With an annoyed expression on, Lucien moved to fetch his phone from the side table that had scented candles as well as his phone set on it and he looked at the caller ID.

It was an unrecognized number and the confusion on Lucien's face could not go hidden, quiet skeptically he answered the call.

"Hello, who is it?" He spoke.

I could not hear the response that came from the other side but supposedly Micheal and Archer with their superhearing ability heard it well and their bodies froze as well as the motions of their hands.

Their jaws noticeably clenched and the sign of relaxation was no longer in their eyes.

Unable to understand the reason behind their sudden silence, I decided to ask them but then Lucien's voice broke through as he responded to the person on the other side of the phone.

"Oh, father.....So how do we owe this pleasure of having you recall us?" his voice held not even a trace of happiness or enthusiasm. All it had was hidden....rage.

Father?

The confusion drew upon me, but I did not ask any questions but rather focused on what Lucien was saying and why exactly he did not look pleased to be talking with their father.

A few seconds passed in silence as he only heard what his father was saying and then he spoke.

"Oh, sure," Lucien laughed and it had no humor at all, it was rather a way to express his grudge I did not know about, "Guests are always welcomed in our kingdom, and I can ensure you and your companions are going to be well taken care of during their stay unless the rules are violated."

His father said something else too which I couldn't hear but the behavior of Lucien and the tone he had adopted made me skeptical of things, the tone wasn't quite of one anyone would use on their father. It was as though he was basically to a stranger who was not a stranger in real life.

"We'll be looking forward to your arrival, Your Majesty," With that Lucien cut off the call.

The awkward silence stretched across the room.

"After all these years why does he want to visit us?" The question left Archer's mouth before I could even ask anything to any of them.

"I don't know, probably because of any of his motives," Lucien answered, he did not look happy with the news at all.

"I have zero tolerance if he decides to interfere in any of our personal matters," Micheal spoke and his eyes glanced at me whilst his hold tightened, "I don't want his opinions or interruption in any matter."

"But...but he is your father," I finally managed to say something, and their gaze got fixated on me almost instantly.

"We don't care about that," The reply came from Archer, his words suppressed in anger that was not directed at me.

"Why?" I asked, softly.

A long silence engulfed the atmosphere before Lucien broke it.

"Because....We are not on good terms, Jasmine" He heaved out a sigh, the answer leaving a surprise.

"And why is that?" I asked even softer than before.

What could be the reason that had made them not like their father? What could even damage the bond between a father and their sons?

I had never got the chance to see my mom or dad but all I knew was, If they were here with me I would have loved every bit of their company. Having parents who are.....alive, was a fortune. luck I did not have.

"Because he wanted us to be like him, follow him like blind puppies and we wanted to do what felt was right, not grow under the shadow that is burdening us and wanting to create us as he wanted to, so when we declined to follow his path and decided to follow the way we wanted to walk on....." Micheal spoke, his voice grew heavier at the end as if the remembrance of something was bothering him....creating disruption.

He inhaled a breath, and let out the next words through his gritted teeth," so the great King of Devuniake or I can say our father...." He stopped before finishing his sentence and my mind sprinted into a different route too, hearing the name of that one particular kingdom.

Devuniake....

A quick flashback passed in front of my eyes before even letting me see through it--The only thing I could register within the short time was the voice of a male saying the name, something about the voice was seemed very familiar as if I had known that person for my whole life.

But my focus did not last on the sound for longer because Lucien's voice broke the heavy chains of my thoughts.

But upon what Lucien said next, A gasp slipped past my lips upon hearing him and my eyes widened as my ears heard the most unexpected thing I had ever expected.

"Banished his own sons from his kingdom." Lucien finished the unfinished sentence of Micheal.

The world's most powerful vampires were banished by their own father?
