Chapter 25

Jasmine

The morning sun's rays crept through the gap in the curtains that covered the big glass slide door of the room. I was on top of someone and my head was resting on that person's chest.

As I blinked open and the sight of the tattoed neck came into my view, I soon recognized the person was Micheal.

Lucien's hand rested on my back whilst Archer's one quite interestingly remained on the top of my ass.

At this point, I did not doubt that Archer was addicted to my ass--Not after what I had experienced last night.

The surreal moments hit me like a frantic wave and I found the shiver crawling up my walls. The vampiric dominance they had, left my body to submit before they could even ask for it. Their passionate movements and soothing aftercare were what managed to prevent me from melting into pieces.

I did not even remember how many times they took me last night but all I could say was that it was more than I had thought in my wildest dreams.

I slowly raised myself to glance at the gorgeous faces of the vampires who were apparently the reason for the ache between my thighs and my sore muscles.

As I had expected even though they were in a deep doze they looked breathtaking as ever.

I felt tempted to run my fingers through their luscious dark hair, trace my fingertips on their sharp jawline or maybe...brush my thumb over their lips.

But no....I did not want to take them up. They had this beautiful look of peace on their faces that did not let me be able to wake them up.

The smile tugged on my lips on its own and I carefully removed Lucien's hand from my back and made it rest on the pillow.

I emitted a low sigh of relief once I saw he had not woken up and then I slowly grabbed Archer's hand before I placed it beside his pillow.

Archer was fully how he was laying on his stomach and letting out small snores like a little kid. I resisted the urge to land a kiss on his cheek and got up removing the blanket from my body.

The smile on my face never faded as I looked at them.

How had I fallen for them so easily?

The mate bond certainty was not supposed to work on me as much as it did between the vampires. But how?

I shook my thoughts and removed myself from Micheal's body, he too looked cute as his brothers. Damn! These vampires were driving me crazy even though they were asleep.

As I got off the bed being more careful than ever, I let the blanket cover their naked figures once again more likely to stop the furious blush that rose on my cheeks.

I grabbed a shirt from their closer and it did not take me even a second to get that it was Archer's just by the smell of it.

I started buttoning the shirt up, it was almost triple the size of my cloth but it was comfortable anyways.

My eyes fell on the hickeys on my skin, especially on my cleavage and my hip, the red and blue marks managed to come into my view only because of the closet mirror that showed my reflection.

They indeed left a lot of marks but none of them actually caused me any discomfort in fact seeing them on me raised the intense emotion that had been building within me ever since they came into my life.

Staring at the mirror at my reflection I absentmindedly brushed my fingertips on one of the hickeys on my hipbone and out of blue, a pair of red eyes stared back at me from the reflection of....myself.

My breathing got caught in my throat, the Shock and alarm shook my soul, and gasping I took a few steps back from the mirror.

Rapid closure of y eyelids to make sure what I had seen was real or not apparently made the sight of the blood-red eyes disappear once I opened them again.

What the heck was that?!

How could my eyes look blood red instead of their regular color and why it is all gone within less than a second?

The sweat automatically covered my palms and the pace of my heartbeat increased.

Soon as I was about to drown in the waves of rush and unrest, a hand touched my shoulder leaving me to flinch in surprise and hastily turn around.

Archer's face welcomed my sight and the rush in my mind stilled for a while.

Confusion drew upon his features upon noticing my frightened countenance and he moved closer grabbing ahold of my arms.

"What happened?" He asked sounding worried, "Why do you look so disturbed?"

"Umm.....I-I," I struggled to gather the words and put them together to make a proper sentence but at that moment, it seemed like the toughest thing to do in the world.

My gaze got focused on the plain floor, the thoughts remaining a jumbled mess even a vampire could not see through or perceive.

Was it actually what I had seen or just my hallucination?

If it was true then how my eyes have become normal again?

"Jasmine..." Archer's voice broke the chain of my thoughts and I looked at him again, "What's wrong, Sweetheart?"

"Uh--Actually it's nothing," I forced a smile, "I just got startled by the sounds of the waves."

"Really?" He seemed doubtful about my answer.

"Yeah," I tried hard to keep my expression to look as though I was saying the truth, which of course was no way nearer to the story I had made up.

"Why would I lie?" I smiled and leaned closer before I wrapped my around his frame and rested my cheek against his chest whilst I hugged him, the contact sending sparks to both of our bodies.

"That's logical, I guess..." He murmured before he hugged me back.

A few seconds passed in silence, just in the chaos I had tucked in the dark and distant corner of my mind.

The peace his embrace brought within me helped me relax and stay away from the worrisome thoughts.

"Did you sleep well, little one?" He asked as he inhaled the scent from my hair.

"Yeah," I nodded.

"That's suspicious," A small chuckle from his made me raise my head.

"Why do you think so?"

"Because we had slept barely a few hours ago. Remember?" The corners of his lips twitched upwards and the furious blush took no time to appear.

They indeed had kept me awake the entire night....

"Archer!" the disbelieve became evident in my voice and another laugh from him broke through the momentary silence.

"What? I was telling the truth," His hands slid down and rested around my waist pulling my body closer to his.

"By the way, You look sexy in my shirt..." His voice grew deeper as he whispered in my ear.

I blushed even more but before I could get myself to utter a response, my eyes fell on the black silk robe he had on.

"Umm....when did you wear it?"

"Right before catching you here," He answered, "Do you want me to take it off?" the suggestive tone he used and his raised eyebrow made my eyes widen.

"No!" I spluttered, "Keep that on."

Once again he laughed at my words before he picked me up in his arms, "Let's get you something to eat."

"I don't think I am hungry," I mumbled as he carried me towards the kitchen.

He settled me on the marbled kitchen island as he spoke, "Really? There's no reason for you not to be hungry because you haven't eaten anything except for our semen."

My mouth hung open at his blunt statement.

Shocked, hesitant, and finally flustered--Three expressions shaded my face and I found myself looking at him wide-eyed.

"Archer!" This time my voice had some anger in it that supposedly occurred due to the embarrassment.

"Yes...my love," He smirked leaning closer to my face, the mischief shining in his red eyes.

"D-don't say...things like that," The sudden closeness that made me feel his breath on my face was to be blamed for my damn stutter.

"But I think, last night we have done a lot more than what I said. Didn't we?" He whispered closer to my lips leaving a chilling feeling spread all over my body like ice covering a warm surface.

"I am hungry...." I blurted out trying to ease the nervousness of mine that appeared because of the closeness.

It was strange how I could feel the same amount of nervousness and devotion every single time they would get close to me.

Not to mention they feel like something to tear through the layers of my skin, the fire rising to the extreme until the point it was edge away from exploding.

"I thought you weren't hungry," His smirk widened.

"But now I am hungry," I rushed out, and a small snicker tore from his throat.

"Okay, baby," He placed a kiss on the top of my nose, "I'll make something for you."

He moved towards the stove, "Your favorite, pancakes? or you'd like something else?"

The question from his caused the surprise to flicker in my very own eyes.

"How did you know pancakes are my favorite?"

A smile tugged on his lips, "It wasn't hard to sneak in your thoughts when you had first moved to the palace."

"You all read my mind all the time?!" I asked and he shamelessly nodded whilst his hands speedily moved to prepare the pancake mix.

Praise the speed of Vampires.

"You all shouldn't have done that!"

"Trust me, sweetheart. We'll do that again if we get the chance to get to know what goes in that pretty mind, again." He smirked as he flipped the pancake before he put it on the plate.

"That's not fair!" My protest did not affect him and he kept his focus on making the pancakes.

Expect for that devilish smirk on his face I got no other reaction from him.

When he was finally done putting the pancakes on the plate and adding maple syrup to it as I liked it which he probably got to know about from sneaking into my thoughts, he finally handed me the plate served with delicious pancakes that made me want to let go of my agitated expression for a second.

But then the stubborn bitch within me rose and I kept the frown plastered on my face.

"You look cute," He smiled standing between my legs and nuzzling my nose.

The smile fought to appear but I kept it tucked away.

He must have noticed my attempt to stop my smile so he just leaned closer to my face, "You can smile if you want to, a smile suits your face more than this cute little frown."

He smoothed the place between my brows scrunched together and kissed my cheek, and this time a smile managed to break on my face even though I tried to keep it away for longer.

"You all are...wicked," I said.

"Thanks, "He smirked in return, "Now eat your breakfast."

Deciding to not argue anymore, I began eating the pancakes.

"You won't eat?" I asked him as I saw he had made nothing for himself instead was only watching me take my breakfast.

"No," He replied, "I have a plan for a dessert." I couldn't fathom the reason behind his smirk, it was quite interesting though.

A dessert in the morning? Might be a vampire thing.

"You don't want to eat the pancakes?" I questioned, confused.

"No." He replied, the amusement was written all over his face for some unknown reason.

I did not ask him any more questions and instead finished the rest of the breakfast with small conversations with Archer in between the bites.

Archer was the one to take the plate from my hand and leave it on the sink before he stood where he was before, between my legs.

He then closed the distance between us, and my hips came in contact with his when his hands banded around my waist.

His lips began moving closer and I found myself diminishing the distance as well.

Instead of landing on my lips, his kiss landed on the corner of my mouth licking away the maple syrup that probably had its traces there.

My eyes rolled shut, and the tranquil feeling shrouded my insides.

As he pulled away after leaving the desire to overpower my senses. I could feel my heart beating like a drum and the rush in my adrenaline.

I had thought he would lean to kiss me but I saw him lowering my face and hooking his arms under my legs, the position making the heat cover my face in seconds.

My private part became uncovered when the shirt rose over my thighs.

"Wha-what are you doing?" I finally managed to stutter once he slowly began kissing my inner thighs, leaving the touch of his lips all around.

The corner of his mouth twitched upwards and he looked at me with his blood-red eyes, "Having my dessert."

And then, the next moment......his lips landed on my bottom.

The meaning of dessert in his vocabulary became known to me at that particular moment.
