Chapter 11 The Witch

Reader's POV
Who would believe that a doctor would not be able to eat?
This professional identity should be closely protected and become everyone's favorite, no matter where it is, the human world or the wolf pack.
"Not to mention that from what she said, she was just wrongly accused." Rock said. "No wolf pack would banish such a female wolf, even if she had made any number of unforgivable mistakes."
Aaron felt that his wolf was a little over the top, but he also had to admit that certain things he said were right.
If he was wary of Ava at first, because the timing of her appearance was indeed coincidental, it wasn't entirely impossible to accept her. After all, she was strong, and a strong person should be respected anywhere.
"But she's not just strong now, she's a doctor."
"A wolf pack doctor."
Sam spins around in the middle of the room, making dull, sharp footsteps.
"You can't be unaware of how rare an existence a wolf pack doctor is in our race, it's even rarer than a healer."
Yes, there is nothing wrong with this comparison.
The healers favored by the moon god can heal all the wounds of the wolf pack warriors, once when the wolf pack rules were not back fully established, they were revered and respected by all the wolves, and they can save any one life from passing away.
But such an ability is also often accompanied by the greatest negative effects, each healer's life is very short, they are also very vulnerable to injury, much less heal themselves.
That is, until Dr. Wolfpack came along to make up for it nicely.
They are also able to heal others, just like those doctors in the human world, relying on some tools and potions, and can also teach this ability to other people in the wolf pack.
A wolf pack with a pack doctor is like having two lives for each person.
"She should never be allowed to stay in the wolf pack without clarity."
Sam stopped and stared straight at his friend with both eyes. "I know this woman may mean something special to you, but I can't look at her and not do anything about it, especially since she could get us into some trouble."
"I know." Aaron furrowed his brow in thought. "So I'd like you to check out her identity, and make sure you do it carefully so she doesn't find out. Just start with the Bright Moon Pack that's closest to us."
This decision was a relief to Sam, who honestly had been worried for Aaron watching the two interact these days. After all ......
Aaron probably saw what he was thinking, smiled at him and shook his head.
"It's not as dramatic as you think, I'll keep an eye on it."
Of course he would pay attention. What once happened, must never happen a second time.
Sam nodded and looked over at the pile of brightly colored items on his table, picking one up in his hand and feeding it into his mouth.
"It's better to be Alpha and get the love food made by everyone whenever you want, let me ......"
The second half of his sentence managed to get stuck in his throat with food, and he barely managed to spit it out until half a minute later. "Taste it."
Perhaps irritated by the food, Sam stormed out of the office and didn't come back in for many days.
Aaron thought it would make him diligent, and for the sake of productivity did not intend to tell him that Ava had actually made these things.
Who let him move so fast? Aaron didn't even have time to stop him before he started chewing.
However, Aaron's wolf Rock has his own opinion on this.
He thinks Aaron is doing it on purpose, who makes Sam always endlessly stay in the office, which deprives Aaron of the space to be alone. Besides, he hoped that a certain female werewolf alias Bertha would stop creating dishes that only the devil would eat over.
Even if these things are just sitting around, the smell they give off will make people want to vomit.
Unfortunately the female wolf alias Bertha is so unaware that she even wants to add some drugs that are good for the body to the dark ingredients she makes.
Well, this idea was very strongly opposed by Fog, so that she finally had to give up.
But you should know, as a tough female wolf who can become a wolf pack doctor through continuous learning how can she give up easily when she is opposed?
Ava's POV
"I wouldn't have become a doctor if I had just given up." I said proudly to Fog.
"Good point." She agreed with me, but she said the same thing. "You can dump them in the toilet now."
"No."
I was resistant. This is a new dish that I invented for two or three days to create, I added some oriental herbs to it, they are said to have very good effects, how can I say throw it away.
At least there must be someone ......
"Oh, you mustn't want to go after Aaron," Fog groaned. "I'm really worried he'll get poisoned by you, and then your undercover career will be over for good, as will your life."
I didn't answer her and stopped moving, just stood very quietly in place.
My reaction about made Fog realize what was going on, and after muttering a few more words she was equally quiet.
We listened together in silence, and soon, from the distant wind, I heard a shrill flute sound.
It was pulled long and thin by the wind, and its voice was euphonious, like a certain courting nightingale, which would have been hard to notice and pay attention to if not in the silence of the night.
Even if it is detected, it will disappear quickly.
"It's the Witch's signal to attack." Fog's voice was low. "They're already here."
Blue Moon Pack is actually in trouble with the witch?
I thought of this as I hurriedly dressed and went downstairs.
No wolf pack will take the initiative to find trouble with the witch, even if it is because of misunderstanding everyone will quickly make peace. This is not only because of the magic of the magicians, but also the way they attack.
Charge and steal on the first day of every month, in the dead of night without moonlight.
Werewolves are made strong by moonlight and can be weakened by it.
I can guarantee that from ancient times to the present, no wolf pack would want to go to war with the witch, and no wolf pack would be completely victorious in the war with the witch.
Even if they do, they will pay a terrible price.
Is Aaron's strength already so strong that he can go to war with the Witch?
Apparently not.
As I made my way out of the building, countless people were rushing around, yelling things like "retreat to a safe house", carrying dinners or sleeping bags they hadn't finished eating, and I even saw one guy holding his pillow.
Does this look like it's going to war?
I grabbed the werewolf holding the pillow next to me and asked him the direction of the safe house and then followed the large group to evacuate.
I must say that this was the first time in my life that I entered a safe house and it was nothing like I thought it would be.
First of all it wasn't safe at all, and secondly it wasn't a house. It was just a clearing in a broken wood five feet away from the Black Onyx River with nothing in it.
If I was surprised by such a safe house, I was even more surprised to meet Aaron in the safe house.
God, shouldn't you be on the front lines right now as a lead wolf protecting your people?
"Alpha is sick." Mike, who had fought against me before, explained to me with a serious face. "If we let him answer the battle now, he will cause a lot of damage."
I guess it should be a lot of damage.
"It's going to cause problems for us."
"So how did you guys get into trouble with the Witch?" I asked curiously.
Mike shook his head, I don't know what that means, he doesn't know or can't say, but from the look on his face, I'm guessing the latter.
"So what's wrong with him?" I asked again.
This question made Mike's eyes shine, he looked me up and down, as if he finally remembered something, grabbed my arm and ran towards the crowd.
"What's he going to do?"
Fog was amazed. "Let you go and fight with the witch?"
"Don't be ridiculous."
I felt in my heart that it was impossible, but I was also a little curious.
However the moment I was thrust into the crowd by him and met Aaron, I knew that both Fog and I had thought wrong.
Aaron looked in bad shape, he kind of looked like he did when we first met, but was more conscious than that, at least he could recognize who everyone was.
Adele was guarding his side, and when she saw me coming she jumped on me quickly.
"I gave him essential oils, but he still looks the same." She told me with a shaky voice.
I knew what she was talking about. I make my own benzoin essential oil, which is effective for relieving anxiety, but it didn't work for him.
"It's okay." I touched the little girl's head and felt her shiver.
This confirmed my previous suspicions that Aaron had never told his sister about his condition, and perhaps he had never been sick in front of her.
"He keeps asking to get out." The other werewolf holding him down stammered and told me. "And he's burning up all over."
Aaron's struggling movements were increasing, and the others were almost unable to hold him down.
"Has this ever happened before?" I walked up and grabbed his wrist, his pulse was beating fast, at least about forty beats faster than usual.
"Probably have." I was told so. "But we rarely find out."
I nod my head. Profuse sweating, twitching as well as trembling, bulging eyes, and a rapid heart rate are all classic symptoms of berserkness. And, as they held the emergency lights up, I noticed a short layer of silvery fuzz attached to his arms.
This is a precursor to wolfing.
He can't be allowed to wolf up now, for whatever reason.
"Go to my room and get the medical kit from the drawer." I said to Adele.
Adele nodded and immediately turned around. That's when a hand clutched my wrist, and I looked down to see that Aaron was staring me dead in the face as he struggled to sit up, word for word.
"Adele can't."
Well, okay, Adele can't. But the only person I trust at this point in time is Adele.
Yet his palm holding my hand was damp and hot.
I took a deep breath and called Adele back.
"Keep an eye on your brother." I explained to her. "Never let him out, and if once you find out he's turned into a wolf, knock him out."
Adele frowned.
I was worried that this little girl would not be able to lay a hand on her brother and once again admonished her. "If you let him go out as a wolf, he will be in great danger. Very big! This is much more serious than you knocking him out."
She finally nodded and looked at me as if she had something else to say.
I didn't really know what she was going to say, but I could see the worry and guilt in her eyes.
"It's okay." I stroked her head again. "I would have done the same thing if it were my sister."
Let a newcomer of unknown origin get the medicine instead of risking his own sister.
This is the right decision that any sane person would make.
"Two o'clock departure." Fog said. "It's best to turn into wolf form, so it's fast enough. There's a downside though."
I know this shortcoming, and it is this shortcoming that allows the magicians to successfully win in one sneak attack after another.
"The wolf form may not last long."
Because the moon, there is no moon tonight, and there are not even stars. I know.
I just hope now that there aren't any problems with this path that Fog pointed out, and if there are, I'm not sure I'll make it back alive.
Maybe people can't always stay calm in front of everything in the world. I hadn't seen much death at that time, and had never fallen into real danger, so I didn't notice how Aaron looked behind me as I walked step by step in the direction of the building.
If I had ever turned back, perhaps much of what followed would not have happened.
But I didn't. I just took one step at a time, entering into a wolfish state with a sense of compassion for myself and anticipation of the coming battle, and ran headlong into my battlefield without looking back.
