Chapter 21 Confrontation

Ava's POV
What kind of person would still put up such a sophomoric appearance at this time.
I really feel like I'm going to be pissed off here if I continue to stay.
"Have you ever seen anyone like this?" Fog looked like he was asking himself a question. "I haven't seen one anyway."
"I haven't seen either." My gaze drops, not wanting to look at her anymore, and I answer Fog. "I don't like that at all. Not at all!"
But you can still hear her voice.
She pleaded and cried. "It's just a misunderstanding."
Yeah, misunderstanding, everything is a misunderstanding.
I thought sarcastically, even if she kills me one day, she'll say to someone else. "Oh my God, it was just a misunderstanding." And then cry sadly, as if she was very close to me.
I guarantee I'll be so angry I'll crawl out of my coffin by then and retort loudly. No! Don't listen to her nonsense!
"Don't listen to her nonsense."
Hmm?
Who spoke from my heart?
I quickly raised my head, and it was Sam who spoke. his face was full of disgust, and he couldn't see the gentlemanly look when he was laughing and flirting with her.
"Not a single word uttered by such a person can be trusted."
Great, I want to laugh out loud.
You were looking at people praising people's dresses when they look good, but not saying anything about "people like this".
Is this a clear distinction between public and private, black and white?
Edna looked at each and every one of them hurt. Just as I looked at everyone just now, there was no difference in the reaction of everyone, still looking away and not meeting her eyes.
I knew she wanted someone to stand up for her, but it wasn't me.
Nor should it have been me, even though I had just gone through the same thing with her.
But doesn't she happen to be the cause of all this?
"You can explain." I said to her.
It's best to explain as long as possible, the more you explain, the safer I'll be, and I won't have to see you again.
But she understood exactly what it meant, and her tearful eyes stared hard at me for a moment before turning away.
No one came forward to help her, and finally she got up from the ground by herself.
I have to say, that action she took to get up, even the best actress in Hollywood couldn't have done better. So elegant, so natural without looking lousy, and so pitiable. The full and euphemistic display of every part of her style.
From body to temperament.
"This is indeed a wonderful woman." I now admit that I definitely speak from my heart.
In fact, it is indeed the same. Because in the time that followed, I have met all kinds of people, but never met another one like her.
Even when things are bad, she seems to be able to show her best side and win herself that sliver of a chance to fight back.
This left a very deep impression on me.
I had a small feeling of admiration for her, yet this admiration was quickly dashed when she opened her mouth to speak.
"Someone must have swapped these letters." Her tone became firm again, as if she had some great proof she had not brought out. "And this one letter had been on my person just now, and someone had secretly taken it."
Yes, this person is also Alpha's own sister.
The thief is now very nervous and is peeking back and forth at me and her brother, occasionally scowling at Anna who is cowering to one side.
Everyone pretended they didn't see it.
She began again with her own aggravation and sorrow, and the tears fell like worthless drops, softly hanging glistening on her cheeks. "Everyone knows that Bertha is very important identity, how could I go to frame her."
Important identity, so that it can not be suspected, right?
"And again, I love Aaron so much."
Aaron's expression was numb, even more so than just now.
"How would I go about deliberately setting Bertha up so that Aaron would lose his wolf pack doctor and not get treatment?"
"To know how sad his illness is for me. How could I let someone I love be sick and not get treatment?"
Yes, she is now an innocent who is deeply in love with someone else again.
"Stop doubting the people who love you so much, Aaron, whether it's me or Bertha."
Oh, my God, I rolled my eyes at the sky helplessly. When exactly did I fall in love with Aaron?
She reached for Aaron's sleeve, but the whole thing was swung around and thrown to the ground like a rag with a bang.
This must have been a very painful fall, at least more painful than when she walked past me with the tray earlier.
Aaron shook his hand and I noticed that he actually looked disturbed, but his voice sounded unemotional.
"You know what the consequences are when you instigate clan relations."
Alpha has come to this conclusion, and it is clear to everyone that things are about to end this way.
The men who got the order went up to Edna and forcibly set her up and tried to drag her away.
I haven't seen any of this small team, and it seems they don't usually show up except at this time of year.
Seeing Aaron in such a merciless manner, Edna also stopped hiding and struggled hard, and her voice also became harsh and crazy from the softness just now.
"You can't do this to me, I'm the one who brought you out of there! I'm your sister's savior!"
This complex relationship momentarily prevented my mind from thinking.
"You can't do this to me!"
So that's it.
I felt like I had the answer to everything. No wonder she took it so personally, no wonder she set me up like this over and over again and never got any negative comments.
So that's it.
Sure enough, the moment they heard these words, the group stopped moving and they looked towards Aaron in a very neat manner.
And he looked at me.
After a long time, he finally lowered his head and waved his hand.
The meaning was clear enough, and the ministry glanced at Edna with particular disgust, loosened their restraints and returned to their respective teams.
Edna climbed up with a mocking smile and looked at me.
"So what if I faked it? I believe that one day I will find the real evidence and let you die in Blue Moon. and I, for one, will never betray Blue Moon."
Edna was gone, just like that, without a scratch, without anyone even stopping her.
Although I knew the outcome when Edna said that, seeing Aaron do it made my heart ache involuntarily, as if I had been betrayed, and the funny thing was, I was the one who betrayed them.
The farce is finally over.
I let out a soft sigh, gave them another look, and turned to leave.
The rest is their wolf pack's own business, and I won't have a single thing to do with it.
But soon, I heard the sound of hurried footsteps behind me, probably Aaron, who sounded a little weak.
Although I wanted to walk in style, but my body did not allow me to do so, Aaron tugged my arm, I just wanted to break free, the next second a black, nothing can be seen.
Reader's POV
Aaron tugged not too hard, but probably did not expect the other party to fall so, suddenly panicked, while shaking her and shouted. "Bertha? What's wrong with you?"
But the next second he felt the warmth and stickiness of his left hand, and he immediately turned the person over, which revealed the wound hidden beneath his clothes.
The wound is both wide and deep, not at all what it looks like!
"Damn! How long did she last like that without saying a word? She's so badly injured! Who the hell hurt her!"
The people around you look at me and I look at you, but no one dares to tell him the truth.
Aaron was still whispering as he hugged her and hurried back. "If I find out who did this, I will ......"
Before he could get the more vicious curse out, Rock finally couldn't listen anymore. "How must you be? It wasn't you who did it when you were sick. Stop your stupid act now!"
"You're the one who did it." Adele echoed from beside him. "You did a stupid thing."
Adele almost never says that about him.
Aaron didn't make any more noise, just quickened his pace and hurried the person into her own room.
Although Blue Moon does not have a wolf pack doctor, but the good thing is that the basic treatment of wounds will still be something, especially some people who are often injured, and she has previously taught Adele a lot of things.
Still, everyone in the room held their breath for an instant when they tore all the clothes off their shoulders.
A ghastly scar embedded in the flesh and blood, the edges of the wound are neat and you can see how sharp the knife is, and you can almost see the white bones.
"Such a serious injury."
Someone huffed and said. "So tonight ......"
Before he could finish his sentence he was pushed hard by the person next to him. "You go fetch water."
Aaron heard and turned his head to his sister and said stiffly. "You've had a lot of scares today, too, so go back and rest."
Adele looked at him with a look of both shock and annoyance.
"Get on with it." He urged again.
"I'm not going back." The little girl finally stubbornly stayed where she was and angrily rushed him.
"Okay."
Aaron no longer reluctantly, himself began to clean the wound, the room was quiet for a while, can only hear the sound of gauze being torn.
In the midst of such a silence, he heard his sister whisper.
"You should apologize to her."
"What?" Aaron lifted his head, feeling surprised.
"You should apologize to her!" The little girl plucked up her courage and repeated again, this time her voice became loud.
"Okay." Aaron's hand didn't stop moving and his mouth spoke. "Don't be mad, I'm just a little surprised you're talking like that."
Adele fell silent, and when she spoke again her voice became odd. "You remember." She said. "You remember that day so many years ago."
"It's the same place, a wood."
She said sharply and tremulously. "And I watched as the thing that looked like an eagle's claw, plunged into your chest."
"That time I called out to you so loudly, to your brother, too, and I wanted you to duck. And you turned back."
