Chapter 37: Temptation
Reader's POV
Aaron was still thinking about what Sam had just said until he was lying on the couch.
Their conversation had lasted a long time, but it had always revolved around the inside of the Pabu wolf pack.
Originally, according to Aaron, today has come to discuss the issue of manpower, but I did not expect that the first thing Sam said when he saw him was, "I think our previous plan is not comprehensive enough."
Aaron's originally bright mood instantly clouded up with a heavy rain, and he gritted his teeth and listened to Sam talk in front of him for half a day, and finally simply asked him.
"Are you worried that the original members of our wolf pack will like the Pabu pack a little more?"
Sam was all frozen by that question of his, and stood still for half a day looking at him before saying; "Not really, I just think it's obviously not very easy for you to act out a big revenge drama all by yourself, but you also know that the identity of our wolf pack members is really complicated."
The two had already talked about their plans and schemes at this point, both of them couldn't say anything more, looking at each other and sighing.
Compared to the complexity of Blue Moon Pack's membership, the Pabu Wolf Pack obviously couldn't just give a simple overview like that.
The Pabu Wolf Pack had been able to become a top ten ranking wolf pack in the Black Sunset Mountain Range not only because of other things, but also because of their bloodline issues.
Other wolf packs might only have basic attribute divisions, but the Pabu Wolf Pack was different.
The attributes and bloodline of Pabu Wolf Pack were together, and something like Alpha Beta Omega could almost be called an existence that could determine everything within their wolf pack. When the first Alpha old Pabu of Pabu wolf pack single-handedly established this wolf pack to begin with, it never occurred to him that this wolf pack would be given to any wolf other than his bloodline.
Even the name of the Pabu wolf pack was named after their family name.
So the child he gave birth to would be an Alpha, and his children and grandchildren would be Alphas, and would always be only Alphas.
Royal blood, something human that is used to good effect by their wolves, who are more united and stronger, to this day.
Deborah had screwed the Pabu wolf pack, and by the way, had brought their Alpha down.
Aaron couldn't help but feel ridiculous every time he thought about it, he remembered meeting this man once, many years ago, when he thought Deborah was some kind of supreme treasure.
Then at the time, his mother told him that she was nothing more than an omega.
Ah, yes, she has the blood of the Pabu family in her, but she is just an omega.
Because of this, her mother died in pain and sickness when she was less than three years old because of all the rumors, and her father, the Alpha at the time, couldn't stand the thought of his mate leaving and left with him.
The next Alpha was his father's brother. He almost hated the little girl who was born to make his family suffer and unlucky, so Deborah's childhood was like a twisted ethical film.
He still remembered the strange and complicated expression on his face when he was led into the Pabu wolves to meet the Pabu uncle who made her tremble, and the not at all disguised disgust.
"You can take her away." The other side had only one eye looking at him, the other wearing a thick blindfold, "She doesn't need a wedding ceremony at Pabu's house. Then she's yours, and you can give her whatever name you want, and she can stop having the last name Pabu."
He seemed to be so focused on arguing that "she should also be entitled to a wedding ceremony at Pabu's house" that he didn't pay much attention to Deborah's reaction, and now that he thinks about it, she seemed to be trying to keep her head down and shaking a little. He could not see the expression on her face.
She had already thought about what to do later at that time?
Aaron couldn't help but ask himself.
But he didn't have an answer.
What he did know was that after that meeting Deborah returned with him to his pack, and then his doom came the day before the wedding ceremony six months later.
Five years later, he was empty-handedly building up the Blue Moon Pack when the Pabu Pack began to split.
When his Blue Moon Pack finally got in size and started to absorb new members, the Pabu Wolf Pack was completely shuffled and it was said that the bodies of the dead Pabu clansmen spread all over their hall that day.
And the only other remaining eye of the Pabu on the throne was turned into a bloody hole.
Deborah's hand was so big that the entire mountain range heard her story.
The last Alpha of the Pabu family died on his throne because of the youngest daughter who was born an omega.
So now, how many of the only remaining Pabu wolves in the Pabu pack support her, and how many of those who don't support her are left?
Sam just answered him like this: "You should remember where you were staying in the Pabu pack before. Of course, I just heard that those who did not support her in Pabu's home were sent there by her, which also included her sisters and her aunt."
Aaron sat down on the couch and pondered his plan, it was more than perfect, it just left something to be desired, like those potential betrayers in Pabu's pack.
Yes, he hoped to find those Pabu who had so far opposed or even hated Deborah, and these would be a great help to him.
Also, frankly, he wanted her to feel what it was like to be betrayed. Although this does not sound like an Alpha can do.
But, suffering is always similar, isn't it?
This saying may not be correct at this time, but Aaron still thought of it for some reason, and at the same time thought of Bertha looked at him at that time, without any expression of the face.
Eye lashes slightly drooping, like a butterfly spreading its wings in the spring, and her amber eyes.
If only he had been a little more forward at that time ......
If I had said something else at that time ......
Would she have raised her head and looked at me?
Would she have told me that she actually liked me, a little bit, like I liked her?
Aaron once again felt his cheeks and earlobes begin to rise in temperature.
He looked at her then and almost wanted to press closer, reach down and hold the back of her head down and kiss her hard.
But maybe it would be a soft kiss, like a raindrop falling on a leaf ......
These thoughts suddenly began to clutter his mind, so that the serious things he was thinking about became an instant mess, and he began to fill his head with her face, her fingers, and the way she smiled, and walked.
Aaron couldn't figure out what was going on with him.
But he understood one thing, he had to do a little something. At least to explain, for example, that he and Deborah now have no relationship.
Yet he did do everything he was supposed to do, didn't he?
As a suitor should do, he sent what he thought was good and useful (letterhead), waited at the place he often went (library), although he had little free time. Also, he asked the other person to meet him for dinner.
And, keep your distance from other people.
The last one was tougher, but he tried hard to do it, Deborah whenever he was around, he was very careful to keep at least a meter to two meters away from each other, or simply left Sam as a companion, otherwise he simply could not stand the woman to stay in front of him for a long time.
God knows how many times he looked at her when he wanted to pounce on the other side of the neck and drink each other's blood.
It just didn't help that Bertha seemed so busy and didn't seem to have much heart to deal with him these days.
"It's better to talk about it later, anyway, there will be more time later, and I can really free up." He said in a low voice, "As soon as these things are over."
"What's over?"
A voice suddenly sounded in the doorway.
Aaron subconsciously thought it was her coming for his treatment and stood up quickly, walking towards the door while pulling out something in his arms: "Nothing, I've prepared a small gift that I want to give to you. As a late ......"
He saw the person standing at the door and swallowed the words that followed into his stomach.
"Late for what?"
The other person prodded, "What kind of gift?"
"Nothing." Aaron couldn't help but clench his fists, "How did you know about my room?"
"Oh!" Deborah looked very relaxed and sidled past him, glanced around his living room, and then sat on his couch, "I asked someone to find out, no?"
Aaron had a sense of anger at having his territory offended, and he stared at her without saying a word, mentally wanting her to get her damned ass off his couch.
But she didn't, even as she noticed that he was looking at her, and she twisted herself into an even more seductive pose.
"Sit down Aaron." She said in a very sweet tone, "I've thought long and hard about this, and we should still talk about it."
Aaron did not react and looked at her without any expression, his eyes seemed to be looking at a corpse.
"Don't you want to know what happened to the Pabu wolves after you left?" She then said, while mysteriously lowering her voice, "I conducted a major cleansing."
Aaron subconsciously moved a little closer to her and listened as she said, "All the wolves in the direct lineage of the Pabu family were banished from the pack, and I gave them three days to do so."
Her voice was even lower, and Aaron barely heard what she said.
Suddenly, a hand reached for his waist and pulled forward with a fierce grip.
Aaron's weight was a little unsteady as he leaned forward a little with that force, but basic vigilance still kept him firmly in place and did not move forward any further.
He seemed to hear a sigh, slow, with a little bit of grief. Then a hand slipped in along his open shirt and touched his chest.
Aaron's whole body froze, and he soon felt a body with soft and hot warmth pressed against him, while a voice whispered against his ear.
"Do you want to do a little pleasure?"
