Chapter 47 She

Reader's POV
Footsteps approached him softly.
Bertha. Was it her?
"Aaron. Aaron?"
I'm here, I'm right here.
He tried to answer, but he couldn't open his mouth.
A hand, cold and seemingly without a trace of warmth, gently rested on his neck.
Aaron shivered at such a temperature, but soon the heat in his body made him press toward the hand almost unbearably.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and squinted up at her in a blaze of erotic arousal.
It was a familiar, yet unfamiliar face.
"It's you."
The other woman smiled and pressed her palm against his hot cheek, "Are you okay? Aaron?"
Aaron could no longer make a sound, anger and confusion churned his brain into a shredded mess, leaving him incapable of thinking, and the only thing he wanted now was to dive into the water or hold the woman in front of him.
But he knew he couldn't.
Perhaps it was what he was still thinking about before that distracted him, or maybe it was the green piece of paper on the coffee table that reminded him of something, and he finally came to his senses for a brief moment in this confusing pain and realized where he was now.
"Get out!"
Aaron suppressed himself and let out a low growl at her, "Get out!"
The other woman, however, just looked at him without making any movement.
"Get out." Aaron tried to stand up, but the vertigo made him close his eyes again, "If you don't get out, I will immediately tell everyone that our deal is completely null and void."
Aaron gasped, "I don't care what you want, but I will make sure that I will take whatever consequences it takes to go to war with the Pabu pack, no matter what it takes, just like you did years ago."
The incident was a past event that neither of them could bring up properly.
Deborah did falter, looking at him with a look of both shock and annoyance.
"And." Aaron surprisingly smiled, "Victory or defeat, you will have everyone's corpse, including your own."
"Including me, of course." He added silently in his mind.
But such a threat is obviously of little use to Deborah, she looked for a moment like she was really frightened by the words Aaron uttered, frowning at him, her eyes full of sadness. But the moment his last words came out, she snapped up a few steps and grabbed him by the collar.
"Is this what you want?" Her voice sounded sharp as a knife, "In your opinion, I just came here for the benefit of some so-called Pabu wolf pack?"
Wasn't it?
Aaron didn't say it out loud, but the look in his eyes had answered her.
"Aaron." Deborah, however, instead of getting angry from feeling humiliated as he thought, let go of him and shook her head and smiled, "You really haven't changed at all."
Her tone even sounded very relaxed: "If you really want to think that way, then I have no problem with it. After all, it's your own idea, right?" With that, she came a little closer and patted his cheek, "But now I don't want to hear you talk about these things, and you know what I'm here for."
Aaron's eyes showed a rare hint of panic, which Deborah found very amusing, and her smile started to become genuine.
She deliberately pressed closer to him, grabbed his hand and pressed his hot palm against the bare skin of her shoulder, "I'm here for you, Aaron." Her voice sounded cold and compelling, like a snake hissing with its tongue out.
"I came here for you, Aaron." The woman's skin was delicate and smooth, like oriental silk, and Aaron felt his whole body burn, and he even began to shiver uncontrollably.
Deborah seemed to let out a laugh, "I know what you really need." She continued, her hand already running down the middle of his collar, "And know what you want now."
"Why must you take it on alone?" Deborah came up to his ear and said slowly, "You know as well as I do that none of this is your fault."
Was it?
"You just met someone you liked at the age you should have, so what's your fault?"
"Maybe we didn't meet at the right time, but Aaron, you said it would all fit. Time will make everything right."
Aaron really remembered in a trance that he seemed to have said something like that, but ......
"I have done wrong and now I have come to repent." Her tone was soft and low, like a cello, "Forgive me my sins, forgive me my faults, and as my mother said, there are infinite possibilities in the days of youth."
"Choose the good ones and discard the bad ones, the painful ones, the ones that make you sad, the ones that weary you."
"Forgive me, and you forgive yourself."
Aaron's body had slowly relaxed to lean on her.
Deborah gently lifted her hand and touched it up to the base of his thigh, a place she could feel was fully aroused by her and was giving off warmth and hormones that belonged to him.
She remembered this place and that smell in the air, many years ago, when she was a girl.
Later, it was Aaron who took her to see everything.
She had lost him once, and now she had gotten him back, and now he was beside himself.
Deborah closed her eyes in satisfaction, enjoying the feeling of happiness that she hadn't experienced again in a long time.
A feeling of happiness, yes, a feeling of happiness.
"You don't have a clue." She said as if she were a wife complaining about her husband who hadn't been home for a long time, "I haven't had a good night's sleep since you left."
Aaron was lifted up by her with no strength in his whole body and collapsed on the bed.
"How could you be so cruel as to leave without a word?"
The "cruel" person, of course, did not respond to her.
"But it's okay." Deborah took off her jacket, revealing her firm and full chest, "I've met the person who took you away before, Edna, how come I didn't know you were so close to her?"
Aaron's heart snapped and his whole body sobered up a lot.
Edna. He remembered that he had sent someone to keep her under guard after she had falsely accused Bertha earlier, and he had seen her occasionally trying to get into the office building to find herself before, and then it was rare. Moreover, only a few days ago someone came to report to himself privately that she had disappeared.
Was Edna's disappearance also related to her?
Although he had guessed it before, it still surprised him a little to hear it from Deborah's mouth now.
"Is it possible that you don't know how I found her?" Deborah now apparently thinks Aaron this piece of fat is already his own, attitude also more casual up, "I did not arrange in the Blue Moon Pack staff. It was she who ran out and let me see her."
"Originally, I didn't notice her either. But who let her be so careless herself, saying who she is is not good, but must say she is Bertha?"
Aaron's original bit of worry and intolerance completely disappeared.
"It seems that your precious little doctor is not very popular." Deborah said somewhat sarcastically, "The enemies he has made are many."
The fact is that Aaron is not aware of Bertha's popularity. But he wasn't going to retort now, and he moved himself inside a bit to get some fresh air from the window, which cleared his head more and restored his strength a bit. He listened quietly to Deborah's next words.
"I had thought you would be with Edna, after all she was willing to help you escape the Pabu wolves, wouldn't you have had some special relationship? I didn't think there was."
Said Deborah climbed onto the bed and reached out to pick his chin, "Not into the gentle human wife type like Edna?"
"What do you think?"
I didn't expect him to answer, which made Deborah a little surprised and happy at the same time.
After all, it was doing that kind of thing, what could be the point with a partner who was completely unresponsive and uninterested?
"So that's what Bertha is like? She's a special type?"
More than special, Aaron has never seen such a person in his half life, and it has absolutely nothing at all to do with type.
He didn't make any response, showing his resistance to the topic.
Deborah also did not continue.
To be honest, she was now disturbed even thinking about Bertha's face, let alone mentioning her name, especially with Aaron, who did not suffer from mental illness.
But Aaron's behavior now makes her more satisfied, although he does not show a very cooperative look, probably because he is under the influence of drugs, but also not as angry and hate to tear himself when she first entered the door before.
She saw this as an improvement.
It seemed to her that if Aaron could truly accept having sex with himself, especially during such a rut, it basically meant that he was not far from forgiving himself completely.
She knew the importance of such things for an Alpha, especially Aaron.
Deborah slowly laid down and rested her head on his arm, then tentatively grabbed his other hand and put it on her chest.
Aaron did move.
Deborah finally put her heart down, just ready to continue to move, the next second, she felt her head was held slightly, and then a hand on her neck.
The next thing is like a nightmare, Aaron completely as if not affected by drugs, the whole person also violent, choking her neck the hand even so hard that the nails are sunk into her skin, the hard so choke her neck dragged her from the bed, and dragged all the way to the door.
No matter how she struggled, how to resist is useless.
He even narrowed his eyes and looked at her veins, as if looking for where to start.
Deborah was just dragged to the door and thrown out, and then the door slammed shut in front of her eyes with a bang. She dropped to the floor, covering her scratched neck, blood dripping from her fingers.
But Aaron's face was so ugly that she was completely unable to say a word.
