What Happens Now ?

It’s been a few weeks since Arti gave me the speech and we have been working hard we train with Calder’s pack and then later at night we head to a clearing in the forest to train just the three of us and work out how to help Cynth . So far I would say it’s going well I worked out how to extend my shield to cover anyone with in around 10ft of me and the more I focus on it the more eyes glow , if Cynthia and Artemis are near me it seems to get stronger but it tires them out its like it drain's their energy and mine.

Things are working out well for them to the pack has accepted Ryan as their Alpha meaning Arti is now our Luna as soon as the house is rebuilt we will move back in and they will have their ceremony along with the traditional celebration of the dead for all those we have lost its usually a beautiful small ceremony but we have lost so many so this time the plan is that it will be bigger .
As for Cynthia she things she has worked out what do she is going to try to call the moon goddess too her on the next full moon , she will need Sigi there with her too to show she is giving it up for love , and the two of them seem very much in love Cynth still pull away a little as she cannot commit fully yet but I know how much she wants to .

As for me I’ve had a few shall we say close encounters we find ourselves drawn to each other but as soon as its over he leaves without saying a word and honestly confused but the while situation I want him but I don’t want him .But then Seleste REALLY wants him so when he does pull away she get mad and stops talking to me it’s a whirl wind of emotions in my brain.

After today session in of training with Calder’s pack Arti has decided that we don’t have to train together as I need rest after yesterday. We discovered that we can link other people not only those who are in our pack, generally you don’t link anyone unless your family or good friends but apparently, we can now all do that to anyone. We found out when Cynthia was linking us about Sigi and then he came running into the clearing repeating a lot of the things we said some of which had him smirking in her direction. Arti seems to think that’s when we said his name that’s when we allowed him to enter the link so. We all agreed at least till we know how to control it we won’t link anyone else other than each other.

I make my way back to my room with the intention of having a shower and heading to the library I’m trying to find out more about my mother’s pack or even the first wolves so far I’m coming up empty I’m eager to check out more of the books maybe Calder’s house will have a book with more information .

I reach my room and instantly sprawl out on the bed the my room here in the silver moon is starting to resemble my own a little I went out to buy some things that reminded me of home fluffy blankets and but most importantly my giant beanbag I mean it’s a little smaller than my one at home but its comfy just not as big .
I take a shower letting the water rush over me and it eases my sore muscles instantly relaxing them , when I get out of the shower I’m feeling far too lazy to get dressed right away , I pick up the book I was looking at last night sitting in my bean bag chair my , I flip open the pages to where I closed it last night letting all the words sink in , there’s not really anything in here but I have learned a lot about Calder’s pack and its history They have been around for a long time.
I want to ask him about his family and about Arlo , how did he come to be away from here and close to my grandad Cedrick and the sapphire moon where it is said to be is so far away how did he travel across so many territories.

My mind drifts off the thought of speaking to Calder about his family it quickly becomes something else in mind when I’m snapped out of it by a knock at my door.
I don’t know who it is, but I’m am not dressed.

"Just a minute "

No response.

I hurry to the wardrobe and chuck on some shorts and a crop top, I’m a little too heavy for this one but whoever is at the door just knocked again.
"Impatient much, I’m coming " I throw open the door and Calder is stood there his eyes black and his breathing heavy.

I stutter a little "Erm Hello"
He doesn’t say anything he just walking into the room I close the door behind him.
"Was there something you wanted?"

He steps towards me eyes focused on mine.
"*No, but I know there’s something you wanted, how did you do that* "
How did I do that what is he talking about.

"What are you talking about?" his face a face inches away from mine.

"*How did you share what you were thinking about? and then when I knocked you weren’t dressed it’s obvious what you were doing?*"

Realization hits he has just seen everything I was thinking about which means it doesn’t only extend to saying some ones name its if I think about them I really have to figure out a way to turn this off .I now have to choices I be honest or I lie to him .

"Erm, I don’t know what you’re talking about " He looks a little shocked

"*I’m pretty sure that you do Selene* “Hearing him say my name makes me a little weak.

Be strong Sel Calder's believing it.

"*No Selene, I’m not believing it, what’s going on*?"

His eyes have changed to their usual blue and there is so much concern on his face. I guess I’m going to have to switch to plan B.

"Calder, I think. I think maybe you should take a seat this might take a while " I take his hand and feel the tingles that erupt through my whole body , I make him sit on the bean bag and sit in front of him, I let out a small giggle at the big bad Alpha sat in my beanbag chair but he doesn’t seem to notice .

"*So, what do you have to tell me?* " He is looking at me like I’m the most precious thing ever, maybe he isn’t so bad after all.

I don’t let go of his hands somehow it feels like it will be easier for me to explain if I we are still touching. I explain everything him he knows a bit about my parents, but I go into detail about Cynthia and Artemis and me and what we are capable of.

I’m nearly finished explaining I’m just telling him that I don’t know my full potential and I start to get emotional it’s like he senses it too as he stares at me more intently his eyebrows frowning giving him the cutest little lines across his head.
When I’m done there is silence between us, it’s not uncomfortable but I wish he would say something.

"Calder are you okay? you haven’t said anything since I finished "

"*Selene, why didn’t you and our sisters tell me this before? why wait until I found out myself* " He seems hurt.

"It wasn’t that we didn’t want to tell you, but this is all new and we didn’t know what to say, also Arlo is in your family we didn’t know if we could trust you yet "
He pulls away from my hand.

"*You didn’t know if you could trust me, were mates!* "

He stands up and paces the room a bit, is he really mad he’s been so hot and cold to me since we met and now, he is saying I should have trusted him what the hell.

"We might be mates but we are not mated we have barley said two words to each other since we met only meeting when we have secret make out sessions " I’m on my feet now and I’m mad.

"*I’m sorry* "
Wait did I just hear Calder say sorry.

"*I thought by pulling away from you it would be easier to protect my pack but now I know everything it’s not just them I need to protect its you , I need to make sure Arlo doesn’t get to you .I mean I thought he was dead, he should be dead he is very old .I’m sorry I pulled away from you* "

That was a rush of information all at once, he wants me, and I think I want him too I try to speak but I can’t think of any words and then I blurt out.

"So, what happens now?"
