**Calder's POV **

"*So, what happens now?*"

She is staring at me her eyes wide, does she even realise how weak crazy she makes me just by staring at me.
"What happens now? We deal with this. Together " I can’t make her want me, but I can help her even if her nose is wrinkled where she is still mad.

"We are going to work this out together and ill help you, I’ll help you train and work out how to use whatever gift you have "

"*I don’t need you to help me train but, do you have any other books other than those in the library?*"

Why does she need more books surely, she hasn’t read all of them I know she’s been spending most of her time in there but that’s insane?
"Books?"

"*Yes books, I’m trying to find out more about my mother’s packs and the first wolves however I have searched all of you books you have, and I cannot find me. If you want to help me this how* "

I can see the determination in her face whatever she is searching for I’m going to do my best to help.
"Follow me " I take her hand and head towards the door, but she tugs away.

"*Wait, I need to change out of this I can’t go out there with this top on* " I look her up and down only just noticing how her t-shirt is a little small her perky breasts just stretching the material and her shorts riding up high showing her long legs, she is right me might not be mated but she is my mate and if anyone were to look at her it might be an issue .

I let go of her hand and she heads back to the wardrobe and grabs some clothes taking a step towards the bathroom.

"*I'll just be a minute* " and she closes the door I walk back across the room towards her window noticing the small touches she has made to the room , she has a few trinkets on the desk and lots of blankets and pillows on the bed .

After a few minutes she emerges wearing a black sun dress, I swear this girl would look good even if she put on a bin bag but right now, she is something else. Swallowing the urge to sweep her off her feet I head back to the door.

As we are walking along the corridor, she asks me a few questions about the paintings, and a few questions about the house too, I explain to her how long my family has run the silver moon pack and all about my granddad. She stops me a few times asking questions but no more than that.
I lead her up the stairs heading towards the double doors at the end, waiting for her to catch up before I open the doors currently, she is looking at every painting.

"Ready?"

"*I mean sure, you have not told me what to be ready for, but I am!*"

I push open the double doors take her hand and pull her inside closing the doors again.
"You asked if I had books, well this is my family’s personal library"

"*Your family has its own library, there is a library downstairs why?*"

"Well little one, this library is full of my family’s history but most importantly there are books with the history of other packs written my family, so maybe you’ll find what you’re looking for in here "

"*Wait are you serious? some of these books are handwritten ... also little one?*"

"Yes, they are handwritten and yes little one you looked very cute and small when you were staring up at the paintings "
Her cheeks flushed a little at my words and then she turned away.

"*So, what do we read first?*"
Honestly, I have no idea I’ve never been in here, but I thought it would make her happy, so I guess now is as good a day as any to enter.
"Well that’s up to you " She heads to the first corner of the room pulls off 3 of 4 books and heads to the sofa in the middle. I don’t move unsure if she wants me to stay or not.

"*Aren’t you going to sit, I can’t do this by myself *"She pats the seat next to her for me to sit down.

It’s been Around 4 hours since we came into this room and we have read a fraction of the books in here, the best thing about to today is how much more I’ve gotten to know Selene. It’s clear to me that inside she’s a little scared of her future which is why she is trying so hard to find out information. Unfortunately, at this point we have not found anything that can help her directly.

I head towards the window watching the sun starting to go down and push open the double doors, from here you can see the entire pack lands and some of the pack house. I take a deep breath taking int he view it really doesn't get old.
I hear some footsteps behind me and see Selene heading towards me.

"*WOW, Calder this is beautiful* " She steps towards the railings the wind blowing her hair taking her scent with it.
I walk next to her and begin to show her all the different areas of the land pointing out all the different areas, the shops the little village area after I’m done, we stand in a comfortable silence for a few minutes.

"Selene, you know this could all be yours " I don’t know why I said it but I wanted her to know I wanted her to know that I am happy that I feel the way I do about her . She responds with a simple nod and then turns to take a seat on the chairs we have outside.

"*Calder, do you think we can get some food I’m pretty hungry and I won’t lie this is probably the longest I’ve ever gone without eating* "
She has a serious look on her face.

"Sure, what do you want to eat " She goes to stand up.
"You don’t have to get up ill have the kitchen bring us something so you can continue to research "

A huge smile forms across her face. "*I can have whatever I want?*"

"Yes anything "

"*Do you think they could make us some cinnamon French toast with banana's ....and also maybe pizza?*"

"Of course, "

"*Oh, and maybe some French fries* "

I nod and link the kitchen to bring up the food when its ready.
"Selene, do you want to eat outside? I can grab some blankets?"

"*could we really, that would be amazing to watch the sun go down* "


I Head inside and grab the blankets and shortly after the door knocks, I take the tray and head out to the balcony.
"I hope you don’t mind but I had them prepare some tea, I know you like it "

"*Thank you, That very sweet of you* "

We eat and I’ve never seen someone so small pack so much French toast away before it’s a pretty beautiful thing to witness. When we are done Selene starts to open to me about her love of French toast and how her mother would make it on her birthday every year.

We spend the rest of the evening getting to know each other more learning about each other’s families , we talk more about Artemis and Cynthia along with her parents I can see that she misses them and I wish that I could take away that pain, we even talk about the waterfall incident .Selene said that she went there when she needed to calm down and she missed it , I revealed to her that its where go to take a break and get away from it for a short while .

Before I know it, we are both stood at the edge of the forest behind separate trees getting ready to run to the waterfall.
One she has shifted she steps out from behind the tree and I can’t believe how stunning her wolf really is, she honestly takes my breath way.
She looks at me playfulness in her eyes and starts running, I chase after her but damn she is fast, and she runs like her feet are not eve touching the ground.
A few minutes in I panic I cannot see her or smell her scent and I’m worried what if she has been taken.
What if she is hurt, before I can think of anything else her soft voice pops into my head.

"*Calder, it’s not chase if you stop running* " This Girl, she really is something as flash back to her telling me all about this ability a few hours ago.
I manage to catch up to her at the water’s edge and she climbs in shifting back into her human form as she does, she ushers me into the water with her.

I head in shifting as I go my heart trying to escape from my chest.
