A Breakfast Surprise

**Selene’s POV**

Today has gone by in a whirl wind I woke up this morning and Calder was gone but he did leave me a note to say he would be back soon with food I’m too tired to move .

Last night was really special I knew we were mates I knew that we would always be pulled towards one another but it’s been a struggle to accept it but last night I felt like I got to know the real him we told each other things about our lives about growing up now we are closer than ever .
I finally see why he is meant for me and I cannot wait to be his Luna tomorrow I know it might be for years or it might only be for a few days but to cement it stone before Arlo comes is what matters most I want it to be written down on paper.

I’m smiling to myself like an idiot when Calder comes in with a huge tray full of breakfast .

"*Morning Sel, I know that there is training to go to today, but i was hoping maybe we could spend the morning together im not ready to leave the bubble yet **"

The expression on his face is soft and meaningful .
"I’d like that actually "

He walks over to the bed hands me the tray and climbs back in I eye him waiting for him to sit still so we can eat, once he is still I look down at the plate then look back at Calder a huge grin on his face .

My mouth is hanging open like I’m ready to catch flies looking at him and at the plate again at least 6 more times making sure that what I’m seeing is real .

On top of my favourite breakfast food is a vintage looking diamond ring , an Asscher cut diamond in the middle with 5 small emeralds on each side holding it in place like to hands it is beautiful .

Calder picks up the ring and suddenly I feel nervous under prepared and oddly under dressed .

"*Selene, You have been like a tornado tearing through my life and my emotions . You make me whole and tomorrow we start our life together as Alpha and Luna i was hoping we could also start it as husband and wife* "


He pulls the tray off my lap and puts it at the end of the bed , taking me hand in his in the process .

"*Selene will you marry me tomorrow* ?"

My heart stops , did he just ask me to marry him tomorrow if I thought the last weeks had been fast this seems even faster but why do I want to say yes .

"Seleste help me "

"**Selene say yes we love him , he’s perfect for us** "

"It’s so soon though is this right "

"**Maybe but you can marry him tomorrow or you can wait and marry him in 3 years, but we will do it eventually so why not now** "

"This is crazy . we’re being crazy "

"**This is right for us trust me** "

My mind flushes back to my mother’s letter she told me to trust my wolf so I will it might be crazy, but I think it will be worth it .
I turn to him my hands now trembling .

"Yes, Calder ill marry you tomorrow "

He pushes the ring on my finger and plants a kiss firmly on my lips and I can feel him smiling through it, last night I was worried I didn’t know him that well and today I am agreeing to marry him it’s been a crazy few days.

The kiss starts to deepen, and I totally ruin it by my stomach growling with hunger Calder pulls away pushes me back into my seat and grabs the tray.

"*How about we eat Fiancé of mine* "

We sit in the bubble of pure bliss eating breakfast and talking Calder links his Mother and tells her that we are also getting married tomorrow he zones out for another ten minutes and I know she is probably filling his head with all the last minute changes she’s going to make .

I use the opportunity to link Arti and Cynth I should probably let them know tomorrow is my wedding day now too
"Hey, are you guys there?"

"*I’m here Sel* "

"*Me too , also hey Cynth*"

"So, I have something to tell you both "

"*Okay what is everything alright* "

"*Yeah Sel are you okay *?"

"I’m fine , but I have something to tell you I’m erm , well Calder asked me to marry him and I said yes "
I hold my breath waiting for the noise.

"*Sel this is amazing ! congratulations when ?*"

"*Sel are you sure you want to do this your only 21* "

And there they are the two sisters of mine one excited and one serious .
"Yes, I’m sure me and Calder talked a lot last night and I really love him , I figured that if we don’t survive this, I want to die knowing I was completely his "

"*Aww Sel I’m happy for you I would marry Sigi if I could ! , I mean he doesn’t know this, but he will one day !*"

"*As long as you are sure , I am so happy for you, but you didn’t answer Cynthia . When *?"

"Well it’s going to be tomorrow at the Luna ceremony"
The next thing I know the link is cut and my bedroom door is wide open both my sister panting like they have run a marathon . Calder’s head whips around to them and he laughs .

"*So, I’m guessing this means you told them* "

After they catch their breaths, they walk over to the bed both their eyes lit up the brightest I’ve ever seen them , they both start talking at the same time and I have no idea what they are saying or who to concentrate on .

"Guys I can’t hear you when you are both talking at once"
They stop talking look at one another and then Arti nods to Cynth as if to say okay you go .

"*Selene , you’re getting married tomorrow* "

The way she’s asking sounds like both a statement and a question .

"Yes, I’m getting married tomorrow , yes its short notice but also not everyone is already going to be there "

They let what I’ve said sink in for a few second and then just walk over to me and hug me, I have to admit I’m shocked I thought they would shout and tell me I am too young or it too quick.

After the embrace they pull away talking with each other about how much they have to do I keep trying to interject to let them know Luna Freya has got it covered, I glance at Calder for help as he is watching the situation.

"*Artemis , Cynthia you know my mother is downstairs doing all the plans I’m sure she would want your input she would want to add something from Sel's life* "

They both look at him then talk at him over one another answering the each other’s questions symbiotically then they both stand still deep in conversation and head out of the room without saying a word.

I look back at Calder completely perplexed at the scene that I just saw.

"I guess that means they are going to find your mother to help out "

Calder moves the tray off the bed and onto the floor, then he pulls me onto his lap so I’m straddling him the heat between us I lift my hand up to long at the ring admiring the beautifully subtly of it .

"Calder when did you buy this ?"

It’s just occurred to me that he would have had to get this ring.

"*Honestly it’s a little embarrassing*"

I poke him in the chest .
"Tell me "

"*Well I bought it when I turned 21 , Sigi and I went to Celebrate my birthday and we walked past this antique shop and I saw it in the window, and something told me I had to buy it. So, I went inside an asked to look at it Sigi thought I was mad, but I somehow knew that this ring was for my mate, so I bought it . I forgot about it until I saw this wolf playing in a waterfall a few months ago her eyes reminded me of the ring . So, I went through all my stuff and found it on the night of the ball when I realised that wolf was you, I knew why I had been drawn to it the emeralds match your eyes* "

"Youve been thinking about finding your mate for that long ?"

"*Yes, I always wanted a love like my parents I spent so long looking for you that I ended up giving up I closed myself off from it . That was until I found you of course* "

"I didn’t know you were so sensitive "
His nose crinkles at my words .

"It’s not a bad thing at all its kind of a turn on actually to know you care so deeply "

His eyes go dark at me words he pulls me closer kissing my neck and holding my hips firmly against him .

"*oh really* "

Running my hands over his chest feeling the tingles.
"Yes Really "

I want him .

I let my desire take over and lean into his touch as his mouth finds mine and his hand travels under my shirt cupping my breast causing me to let out a small moan of anticipation about what he’s going to do next.

He pulls my T-shirt over my head and stops to stare at my naked torso his eyes now completely black with lust, he flips me over on my back his body pressing down on my own holding me in place while he plants more kisses down my body his hands slipping my short off making me shudder at his touch .

I pull him up towards my mouth and kiss him passionately I want him to know how much I want him too my hands pulling at his shorts this seems to urge him on further , he pulls away just for a second and takes off his shorts my body pining for the loss of contact.
He kisses me further teasing my entrance with the tip of his member driving me insane.

"Calder please "

He trails kisses down my neck to my marking spot , then he whispers in my ear .

"*Say my name again Selene* "

I do as he asks willingly my body is practically begging him to take me .
