Powers Unleashed

**Selene's POV**

Calder and I slept all through the rest of the night and most of the next day , we were then swiftly awoken by Arti, Ryan and Sigi who told us that we were needed down on the training grounds the plan is too tell both packs what we are and what we are going to be facing and I why and then finally that I will be the new Luna of the silver moon pack .

I did know how it would go I thought there would be some back lash but there was none both the packs united when they found out that Arlo caused the genocide of two packs and most of the pearl moon I didn’t realize how much they had already bonded.

Finally when he announced that I was his mate and their new Luna most were happy but I couldn't take my eyes off the woman Revna she was stood at the back and when they started clapping I saw her leave the room so much fury on her face I need to ask Calder about her he swore that what I saw in the room was a misunderstanding but there must be more between them for her to be that upset .

After that the rest of the day went by in a flash, we trained together some of Calder's pack faced the wrath of Artemis I think now they are more scared of her pushing them in training than how well she could kick their ass .

Because we have told everyone we don't have to hide any more to train our own powers so here the three of us are in our private training surrounded by the watchful eyes of about 30 pack members young and old who somehow found out our schedule.

We agree to start with some basic stuff not wanting to scare anyone around us Cynth isn’t much of a fighter so it’ll help her to and me get better ,however I’m nowhere near as speedy as Arti when she moves sometimes it’s hard to even see her we heard a few gasps from the crowd the first time she dodged and attack from both of us.

Arti tries to get me to focus on the shielding trying to get me to project it to the group of people watching but honestly its difficult with all the noise .
Not wanting to say anything out loud or make the watchers feel unwelcome I opt to link them and let them know why I can’t do it .

"Arti Cynth , I can’t focus on the shield I’m hearing every word they say every moment "

Cynthia’s face turns into one of concern .

" *Let’s try it again Sel but this time just focus on our voices inside your head let us help you to drown them out* "

I nod towards them and close my eyes and I hear both of their voices guiding me to breath and project out my power .Then I feel it radiating from me like heat waves rippling through the air but its stronger than I’ve ever felt .

"*Selene open your eyes you need to see this* "

My eyes instantly flash open at the sound of Arti voice to look at her and then I see it the same shield rippling from the both of them like they are amplifying the signal from my own it stretches far beyond the group of people and is encasing most of the pack house .

"What’s happening how are you doing this do you have this gift too now ?"

I look between them searching for an answer .

"*Sel, Arti and i don't have this gift but when we linked and guided it out of you its unlocked something in me and i knew i could project it too*"


I feel my mouth open in sheer amazement if we could do it for this what else could we do it for as the thought rush around my mind the shield disperses from my lack of focus on it , it also leaves the two of them . We head back towards each other this is a conversation we need to have up close .

"That was incredible , I never dreamed we could do that, and I don’t feel so tired like I have done before "

Artemis simply nods but I know she has more to say on this matter .

"Arti are you going to tell us what you’re thinking or are you just going to leave the sour lemon expression on your face "

Knowing this would get her attention she speak .

"*I was just thinking I wonder if it will work for our other gifts . I mean I wonder if I could amplify my fighting skills on your or Cynth could share her gift of healing . This would be really useful to know when we eventually have to fight* "

She sighs and rubs her temples like she is contemplating what our next move should be .

"*It’s not just that though as soon as you got distracted Sel it went away which means if this works for all of us and all our gifts then we need to learn to fight while keeping in constant contact as well as constant control*."

Both Cynthia an I agree but the thought of what that intense training might look like from Artemis does make me feel a little bit sick it’s going to be intense for sure .
"So maybe we should try it out on one of you two then to see if it works ! Cynthia try projecting your earth goddess vibes on us ! "

I turn and give her smirk and she pushes me over my palms hitting the ground and vines instantly wrapping around my wrists keeping me there .
Both are giggling watching me while I struggle .

"*Now i don't know about my what did you call it Sel , Earth goddess vibes but we sure could have used this when you snuck out every night* "

Laughter erupts between them both again and I finally manage to snap the vines to free myself , rubbing them where I’ve made them a little sore ,involuntary laughter coming out of my mouth too I mean it was funny.

"So are we going to try this or now " We all stand and start the process again only this time we are Focusing on Cynthia keeping focused .

After a while we get the hang of this between us, we can now use the powers of one another as long as we keep our link open, we can even do it without the talking . We are getting pretty good at it but also getting tired and hungry , at least I’m getting hungry on the verge of hangry actually .
The only problem we have found is if we can only link one another we then can’t stay updated with the rest of the pack or with what’s going something I suppose we are going to have to work on .

We begin clearing away Cynthia reducing the trees and vines we produced back to the ground and Arti grabbing the water bottles . Its then that I notice the crowd on the end of the clearing it doubled in size, but we didn't even notice all of them chatting among themselves smiling and laughing .

We head towards the pack house making the way thought the crowd of people some saying hello others simply smiling and then the cutest little girl walks towards us holding three bright orange marigolds, we stop before her waiting for her to speak as her mother whispers in her ear and motions her forward she shyly extends a flower to each of us a bit grin on her face but not saying a word .

Cynthia then bends down flower in hand motioning the little girl to come to her , she plucks a petal off the flower and the girl frowns until Cynthia uses her gift to grow from the petal a flower crown with 3 smaller Marigolds adorning the front she places it on the little girls head who’s eyes are now lit up she then wraps both her arms around Cynth’s neck and pulls her into and embrace the crowd around us muttering about how cute the interaction was.

Cynthia then stands with the little girl in her arms and heads towards the mother linking that we should go on without her to the house.
Artemis and I continue on her making her way to Ryan who is waiting at the top of the stairs and I head to my room for a much-needed bath entering via the kitchen to see if there were any cookies left that Sibyl made .

As I enter the kitchen, I’m find myself face to face with Revna who is sitting at island in the middle of the room a teacup Infront of her, but eyes fixated on me like she could kill me at any moment .

I grab one of the cookies of the counter feeling her eyes on me and o try to ignore her I don’t want to be starting fights with her whatever her and Calder once has is history and sure I want to know about it but not from her as I’m leaving the room she grabs a hold of my arm and turns me around .
I smile at her teeth gritted wanting to stay polite .

"Excuse me Revna would you mind taking your hands off me " I offer her a short smile and she releases my arm.

" *You know that you and he won’t be together, forever right ?. I mean seriously you might be mates but you can’t keep him satisfied. I’ve known him his entire life I know exactly what he needs to make him thrive* "

I do not respond to her merely stare at her hoping that she had finished talking nonsense, but she hasn’t .

"*You’re a momentary blip in a bigger plan Selene , your stint as Luna won’t last long of that you can be sure* "

With that she turned back to her tea like the whole conversation didn’t happen I head out of the room ignoring what she said she’s clearly not all that stable. After my shower I’m going to find Calder and find out what their relationship is really about Revna just said she known him her entire life, but he has only mentioned her a few times .
