In Three Days Time

**Selene's POV**

When woke this morning I was in Calder's bed I must have fallen asleep waiting for him , I rolled over to see if he was there, but the bed was empty, but I could hear the shower going. I sit up in the bed and notice a cup of tea and small note in the read, *when you wake please done leave, I have something to tell you C x*.

I scan the writing it’s not what I expected from Calder at all it looks like calligraphy but it’s just his normal writing , swapping the note for the tea cup I climb out of the bed and head to the balcony to sitting in the cool breeze drinking the tea .

My mind is full of a thousand thoughts I still needed to speak to him about Revna but I’m also not sure I want to know there history it’s a tense situation on top of this I’m not even sure how to bring it up as I’m pretty certain he thinks I’m over the situation in the room.

I just don’t understand there connection to one another but I feel threatened by it that’s not something I easily care to admit , I keep reminding myself that just because your mates it doesn’t mean its smooth sailing you might be made for each other but to get there you have to find the balance. My father always told us that we have to remember some things are destined to be, but it might take a while to get there and right now I’m feeling it .

As I’m lost in my thoughts, I look over the balcony and see Luna Freya and an older gentleman heading towards the house he has a walking stick and looks as though every step is taking a lot of effort to keep going.
I stand watching them continue towards the main house when the tingles I’ve come to appreciate run from Calder's hand on my lower back and up my spine .

"*Look who’s finally awake* "

The deep sound of his voice making me weak at the knees , I’m spun around on the spot to face him in only a pair of shorts water still trickling down his torso where he’s not completely dry just looking at him makes my mouth go dry .

"*Selene are you okay you haven’t said anything in like 2 minutes* "

His eyes search mine for and answer and I can’t think of anything to say so I end up blurting out .
"Who’s the old man with the walking stick with your mum ?"

Oh, there you go Selene there’s your foot right in your mouth and that now even what you wanted to ask .
Calder lets out a chuckle

"*That old man with he stick is my father and its actually the reason I wanted you to not leave my parents are desperate to meet you so they've invited you and your sisters for breakfast , Ryan and Sigi are also invited and Revna too*"

Revna is he kidding he has to be a making some kind of joke I want to argue with him, but I don’t want to meet his parents angry, so I swallow the words .
"What time is the breakfast ?"

He looks at his watch and lets me know it’s in 15 minutes . Great he couldn’t have just left me a note to tell me a time to be ready now I have to rush back to my room and find something to wear to meet with the former Alpha and Luna of this pack.

I rush back to my room trying to let the fact that Revna will be there this morning after our encounter last night to get changed. As soon as I opened the door, I’m greeted by Cynthia in a sun white summer dress her long white blond hair in loose waves cascading down her back as always, she looks amazing and she’s holding some clothes out for me already .

"Cynth you are a life saver "

I grab the clothes from her and head to the bathroom , I hear my bedroom door go and instantly know Arti is in the room now too . I rush to change clothes pull my hair out of the bun thankfully it seems to have some nice waves in it I ruffle it up a little and head out the of the bathroom .

My eyes Falling on Artemis who has gone a little more classic opting for a dark grey long-sleeved dress coupled with a pair of combat boots , they really are polar opposites.

All of stare between one another until Arti breaks the ice .

"*it’s weird they we have all been invited to this right , I mean Selene I can understand but us too ?* "

"*Arti I don’t think its that’s weird I suppose normally they would have invited Selene’s parents, but our situation doesn’t allow for the that* "
Cynthia chiming in as the voice of reason seemed to cool Arti’s nerves and we all head out of the room and down to the first-floor private dining room .

As we head towards the room, I see that outside Calder and Revna are talking she spots me before he does and places a hand on his arm causing my insides to rage .
Artemis stops the three off from continuing and stands in front of me .

"*Sel who is that ? you saw her, and your emotions just went off the scale* "
Cynth nods in agreement and looks at me too .

"Her name is Revna , and she has a thing for Calder but her connection to him is more than that and I just don’t trust her"
I look between the two of them when Arti takes my hand .

"*Don’t worry Sel we will keep an eye on her from now on too* "
With that she joins me by my side again and we carry on walking towards the door the smell of the breakfast mixing with my nervousness and making me feel a little sick .

As we enter the room Calder rushes to my side and starts to walk me towards his parents , this is it meeting the parents damn I never thought I’d be this nervous and Seleste isn't helping either she’s just as nervous as I am her whimpering intensifying as we get closer to them .

Breakfast went surprisingly well as soon as they both hugged me, I felt a wave of relaxation wash over me which in turn made Cynth and Arti seem calmer . They are really wonderful people they told us a lot of stories about Calder as a small boy that I am for sure going to use to wind him up .

More surprisingly they shed a little light on their relationship with Revna when they greeted her it was as if she was one of their children and then Calder’s Father Torsten had found her abandoned and left her with a nice family in the pack but they always treated her as one of their own even more so after her adoptive parents passed.

The story was sweet, and they were amazing for doing that for her but the whole time they were speaking their eyes lit up with joy she was staring daggers at me and as soon as Calder looked her way she stuck on a sickly-sweet smile .

Freya was also incredibly excited to meet Cynthia which threw her of a little apparently, she had as much joy for Sigi as she did for Calder, she kept throwing them loving glances.

Torsten has referred to Ryan and how much of a good job he is doing as a new Alpha and complimented Arti on her fighting skills , Artemis seemed overjoyed at this and the large grin didn’t leave her face the rest of the meal.

After we all completely full to the brim with breakfast foods the French toast being dominant feature on the spread, we said our goodbyes and left .
We all headed back to our rooms to change ready for the days training I still needed to find the time to speak to Calder more about Revna I wanted to tell him what she said to me but I still don’t know how to bring it up .

On the walk back to the room Calder lets me know how great the lunch went and how much his parents like me. When we get inside my room, I head to the cupboard to change from this dress into something a little more my style and Calder throws himself down on the giant beanbag.

"*Selene* "

I poke my head around the cupboard door to look at him .
"What’s up"

He has a weird look on his face like he’s linking someone then his eyes snap back to me .
"*My mother just linked me , she would like to throw your Luna ceremony in 3 days’ time . How do you feel about that *?"

How do I feel about that I stand back in the cupboard staring at the clothes ?
"Seleste how do we feel about that "

"**Sel I feel great about it me and Vidar are made for one another whenever we are next to him, I just can’t contain myself , I can tell you have doubts about Calder though** "

" It’s not so much doubt but I just don’t fully trust him yet but if I don’t say yes his mum is going to worry "

"**Well Sel , it’s up to you but you are going to be his Luna sooner or later if you say yes you have three days to get all the answers you want it at least stop you procrastinating to ask** "

I’m pulled from my thoughts by Calder now stood behind me asking if I’m okay I turn around to him .
"*Selene if it’s too soon I can tell her no* "

The internal struggle right now is real Seleste is right we will have to do this eventually anyway .
"Okay let’s do it "

A smile spreads across his face and he wraps his hands around my waist.
"*Are you sure about this Selene , Honestly I know how happy it would make me, but I don’t want to put any pressure on you* "

As he speaks, I realise I have made the right choice we have to work at this, and this will just be another journey .
"Calder of course I’m sure "

I pull him in for a kiss and he lifts me off the floor , I wrap my legs around his waist has he carries me towards the bed. I have to admit that I love it when he touches me it makes me weak and all me senses are drawn to him like I’m on a freaking cloud .

As he lays me down his body pressed on mine the kisses now trailing down my neck over my marked spot, I remember we need to be at the training ground soon I manage to pull myself from this intoxication for a moment .

"Calder, we have a training get to shortly "

He lets out a small growl as he trails kisses further down my neck his hand cupping one of my breasts making it even more hard to pull away .
"*Were the Alpha and Luna Sel . I think we can be late* "

His eyes are words are dripping in seduction and I willingly give into him .
So, what if we are a little late .
