Kayla's POV
Why didn't l notice earlier on that Chelsea's disappearance was unanimous?
Infact, the way she left in a hurry was oblivious that there was something suspicious going on.
Did she go to the rooftop to tackle the culprit already?
Of course, his hideout would not be around the rooftop.
I didn't ask Elena about anything, I just pushed through to the classroom. She should have told me earlier that she saw Chelsea. Why was she just saying it now?
I ran into the classroom and leaned on Torin's chair. He was packing up his bag.
"Chelsea has been kidnapped." I whispered, looking sideways suspiciously.
"How?" He asked.
I sat down beside him, narrating yesterday's occurrence bit by bit, as well as today's play.
"Why didn't you tell me?" He was beginning to get furious.
"Calm down, Torin. We've got eyes watching us." I told him.
He scratched his head and muttered some curses.
" What are we going to do now?" I asked.
"Give me the phone." He stretched
I gave him the phone, which he tucked into his back pocket.
"Let's give this to the computer engineering to track the IP address."
He turned.
Why haven't I thought about this?
What a great idea!
We both went to the engineering department, located Mike, their class representative and explained a few things to him, saying we were cyber bullied and would like to track the IP address.
Mike gladly took the phone with an assurance that it was a small task, regardless of how well the identity of the criminal has been concealed.

John's POV
Chelsea promised to come home early today. She told me she had only one lecture, which was in the morning only.
Has she gone to spend the rest of the day with her boyfriend?
It's my birthday party for crying out loud.
Okay, I'm not actually crying.
Although we're throwing a small party, we didn't invite anybody. It was just within our family only.
I called her number, but she kept declining the calls. Perhaps she is pulling my legs at the moment.
Maybe she wants to surprise me today.
I was anticipating.

Vampire king's POV
At least everyone should be given a free share of nature's gifts. She should let us benefit from her abilities as a witch. Apart from her being a witch, honestly speaking, she's damn pretty. I do not know what see sees in that boyish Alaric.
I'm well built with masculine features every lady would dream of. My chin is smartly sharpened to exhibit the vampiremism and the beauty in it. I was there before Alaric, yet, I look so much older and wiser than he is.
"If alone you had said yes to my proposal." I said aloud.
She laughed with sarcasm.
"What have I to do with you blood drinkers!" There was wrath in her tone.
I don't mind being called a blood drinker. I tossed her a dry leavened bread.
"At least I still eat this." I mocked.
I know she is hungry. I don't intend to kill her or cause much harm. I just want to do business with her. That's all.
She refused to eat the bread. I don't have a problem with that.

Chelsea's POV
The room was dark and hot. I thought I was fully prepared for summer, but with the temperature in this place, I can't think of summer anymore.
"Does it make sense to you?" I nearly shouted at him.
"I would have liked to have it in a civilized way." He touched his beards.
I hissed.
How civilized did he actually think he is?
The air in this place is hot, there's a fireplace, grass even grows in the room. And this is the vampire king's quaters.
I found myself laughing aloud.
I increased the pitch of my laughter when I noticed how it pissed him off and made him puff air out of his mouth occasionally.
He stood up and picked a sack which he began to tuck into my mouth forcefully, to shut me up.
I struggled, and managed to bite his fingers before he was able to gag my mouth successfully.
Sadly, his injury sealed up and small smoke erupted.
I wish the scratches and cuts around my fave could vanish just like it did on his skin.
I'm just human, I reprimanded myself.
John's POV
I feel like Chelsea is a betrayal. Jasper was a guy. He told me yesterday that he would be going out with his friends. I don't have a problem with that. All I wanted was sincerity.
Mum dropped the cake on the center table.
"Get me the knife, Lawrence" she called at dad who was in the kitchen. I just can't feel this party anymore. The music is do loud and disturbing to my ears.
Dad arrived with a glassy knife. He poked the cake with the knife and cleaned his hands on his apron, as if he was female.
I called Kayla.
They're both school mates. She'll surely know where Chelsea is.
Kayla picked up almost immediately.
"Hello" she said.
I wasn't ready for any formalities.
"Is Chelsea still at school?" I asked.
"Who am I speaking with please?" She asked.
"It's John." I told her. "where's Chelsea?"
"Oh, John. Chelsea has been kidnapped." She said.
What does she mean by that?
"The vampires..." She was saying.
I hung up and rushed to my room.
"Come John, let's cut the cake." Mum was with a big tray of drinks.
I came out of my room with my big coat.
"Dad!" I yelled.
"Chelsea is in danger!" I yelled.
Dad ran into the sitting room.
"How!" He was looking more nervous than I am.
I called Jasper at once. He alone knows where he could find Alaric. We need Alaric right now. He needs to know that my sister is missing.
"Let's call the police." Dad picked his phone.
Just then, the door burst open.
The sound of snarling creatures drummed on our ears.
"Everyone keep down." A deep voice yelled.
Everyone was too shaken up to even stand up or glance at the creature.
