Sixty eight

Chelsea's POV

I sat on the swing in the garden with a book in my hand. It's just a novel about love and I must commend, it's a really good book.

I was too engrossed in the book that I am not sure I would even be able to hear the footstep of anyone walking up to me.

Today is Saturday, no school today and I am done with my assignments and thank God, I don't have to do the dishes today.

I have completed the bet I had with Jasper.

The cold isn't that harsh today like other days but that still didn't mean that I should still put on summer clothes.

I am clad in a black thick hoodie and black pants. I raised my head as I felt a presence in the garden.

My gaze met with that of the person standing there and a smile crept up to my lips.

"I guess I still suck at hiding" he says with a smile on his lips as he approach me.

He never intended to watch me from a secret spot, the last time that I had caught a glimpse of him was just by mistake.

"You never intended to watch me before" I pointed it out to him.

"You are right about that" he says and sat on the other swing.

Maybe he is right about being a werewolf after all, because why would you be putting on a light white round neck shirt that cling tightly to your body showing off your muscles during the winter.

Even i can still feel the cold upon how thick the cloth I am putting on is.

"So, what are you here for?" I ask.

"I just came to see you, is anything bad in it, Chelsea?" He asks with a slight frown on his face.

It's becoming more of a habit for him to be visiting me everyday and I know the expression he always put on. It is always a happy expression but this expression currently plastered on his face is that of uncertainty, like he is at a crossroad of making a decision that would make a huge effect on his life, positively or negatively.

It was like he is having doubt as to whether he is making the right decision or not.

"No, your face is saying otherwise" I say with my fingers pointing at his face.

"Whatever it is you can let me know, I'll lend you a listening ear" I add with a worry expression on my face.

He let out a sigh and bent his head low, he raise it back up to look at me.

He look at me like I am someone he can really confide in, his lips slowly stretched for a while.

"Follow me somewhere, Chelsea, I want to show you something" he says with a smile on his face.

I have doubts this time, a part of me wants to follow him to wherever he wants to take me to but the other part is not really sure that I can trust this man fully.

'He doesn't look like someone who will harm me' I say to myself inwardly.

The other part is strongly opposing, I was bombarded with different thoughts.

One of them being "looks can be really deceiving"

Just like as if he knows what I am thinking about, he looks at me with an assuring smile on his face, "you can trust me, Chelsea, you can't fully trust me"

"I want to earn your trust and show you everything about me but I don't want it to be here" he says while looking around.

I don't know why but I had this feeling to suddenly trust him.

My past life had taught me not to trust any human at all again but there is no harm in giving it one more try, right?

"Meet me in front of my house"I say to him and walk back inside my bedroom while he nodded his head and turn to leave.

I turn my head back to see where he is going to pass out from but I didn't see him at all again. It was like he had vanished into the thin air.

I will catch him one day before he go out and see the way he does it.

I picked out one of my ankle boots inside, a white one followed what I'm wearing so that's the one I picked out.

I walk out of the room to inform my mum and Dad that I am heading out.

The door of my brothers' room is slightly opened so I peeped my head inside to check out what they are doing.

Jasper is laying on the bed with his head set on while playing mobile game on his phone, I guess it is called call duty or something like that, well whatever the boys play.

John is laying on the floor with his stomach, his leg is facing the door while his head is in the opposite direction.

He turn his head backwards to look at me immediately I poke my head inside.

"Yes how may I help you?" He asks with a forced smile and ab expression that reads 'you are not invited to the boys room'

I raised my middle finger at him before walking off to where I intend to.

I checked my parents room, none of them is there, so I walked down the hallway to the flight of stairs straight to the parlour.

I saw my mum busy with knitting wool, it is something that she loves to do.

Everyone is busy with what we all love doing.

My mum is knitting, Jasper is playing games on his phone while I was reading a novel a couple of minutes ago before I was called out.

I don't know what my dad is doing and I couldn't get what John was doing.

"Mum I am going out for a stroll" I pull up my hoodie over my head.

"Don't stay long out there so you wouldn't catch a cold!" She yelled behind me.

"Ok mum" I wave at her before disappearing out of the gate.
