Seventy

I bit my lips in embarrassment, I can feel my cheeks flush up in embarrassment.
“Do you want to keep on feasting your eyes” he say teasingly.
“Shut the fuck up” I reply him embarrassingly.
“I am done, you can turn now” he says. I can hear the sarcasm in his tone, but I still turned to look at him nonetheless.
He is still clad on his pair of pants, he hold his shirt in his hands with a smirk on his face.
“You forgot to look at this hot upper part of my body also” he says, the smirk still plastered on his face.
“Jeez!” I shake my head negatively and palmed my face.
“The body is too hot that it leaves you speechless?” he asks, his tone is laced with pride.
“Sorry to kill your pride but this is definitely not my first time seeing a male’s body and I have seen one hotter than yours” I says with a teasing smile on my face.
His expression changed from the proud one that was placed on his face a few seconds ago to a mixed one of jealousy and a bit of anger.
Boys, oh I mean the whole male gender, because Alaric doesn’t look like he is a boy at all, he is a man.
Well never mind, the whole male gender can really get jealous and they don’t try to hide it at all, they will surely show you.
I let out a chuckle as I take another look at his expression again.
“Tell me the name of the male let me kill him, at least if I kill him, I will rank the male with the hottest body on your list” he says with a straight face before putting on his cloth again.
“No, you will still not rank number one, you are not even a close second” I teased again, I just love seeing the reaction on his face whenever his ego is smashed.
“Huh?” he asks with his eyes opened wide and shock plastered on his face.
I try to hold the laugh in but I failed miserably at it, I held my stomach and let out a loud laugh.
“What is so funny about it?” he asks with his hands folded on his chest.
"You should have seen the look on your face when I had said that you are not a close second at all" I pointed out at him.
"It's not funny at all" he pouted his lips with a slight frown on his face and we continue walking out of the woods.
Silence followed next, none of us say a thing, we just keep on walking, both of us probably battling with a thought inside.
I want to know more about the supernatural world, I really want to.
The ones I have seen now is a little too much too bear but I think I will cope.
Most of it is just like the book says but seeing it in person is really mind blowing.
There is a reason why he told me, that's what I am feeling like but I can't figure out the reason.

Alaric’s POV

I stood on top of my tower looking at Chelsea standing in front of her room and waving me bye before shutting her window and heading off to sleep.

The smile on my lips slowly fade away, I didn’t even know how long I had kept the smile on.

Today is sure fun, I told her everything about the werewolves, the witches and the vampires also.

She is a fast learner so I wasn’t surprised when she was quite grasping on what I was telling her, the history of out ancient time.

I really enjoyed my conversation with her, it was really fun, talking at her and walking on the street side by side.

I would have said it’s been long since I felt this since it is five thousand years ago but to me it is just like I had felt it yesterday, not quite long enough.

I walk back to my room with a sigh and a happy expression on my face. The happy expression on my face turned to a slight frown, I rub my temple as I remember that I have something to take care of in my office, so I have to change the direction of where I am heading to.

I walked into my office and walk straight to the books that Cain had compiled for me about the past internal conflicts that happened when I was asleep up till this point.

Something doesn’t just seem right, there is one of the conflicts of five years ago referring one to one other past conflict that is almost a decade ago and the conflict is not located in the book here and I have gone to the library but I still can’t find it.

I have my eyes everywhere so I will easy get information easily but none of them found I am asking of, or rather none of them noticed anyone taking anything away from the library.

I gritted my teeth in anger, I want to know what happened back then so bad, it really looked so suspicious. The more I think about it, the more suspicious it gets.

One thing I know is that I cannot trust all of the elders, from what I have gathered in the book, some of them wanted to kill me, some of them tried to ascend my throne and became the alpha, some of them planned to join the vampires, our arch enemies. Joining the vampires to fight against us would have only been for one reason, to ascend the throne.

I cannot trust the whole of the council completely, they say when a trust is broken it can never go back to the way it was, I had to place an eye all of the council members to monitor their movements. I can sense it that some of them are not happy with my return.

I tap on the arm of my chair drifting deep into thoughts, I need a plan to be able to defeat the vampires without suffering much casualties.

I heard a knock on my door, “come in” I say to the person telepathically.

The door was pushed open and Cain walk in with his hands behind his back, he bowed his head slightly. I didn’t turn to look at him at all.

“I am here to give you report about the soldiers we have been training sir”

“Ok?”

“The training we doubled is beginning to have some effects, the people who are ready for war is a little bit above double of the number that was ready last time”

“That’s good but still not good enough, their numbers will surely overwhelm and intimidate our soldiers, you know how many the vampires soldiers are. They have broken down packs and taken over them, their numbers have increased greatly compared to the last time that we fought” I turned to look at him now, he still maintained his stance of bowing his head, he didn’t want to look at me in the eye.

“The last time we fought we barely won against them, their soldiers were the same number with ours because we teamed up with the witches now imagine now that their numbers have increased by five folds, teaming up with the witches will barely do enough good.”

“Still keep on with the training like that, come over Cain I have something to ask you, I think I have found the loophole in the plan” I say and called him over.
