Seventy one

Chelsea's P.O.V

I had finally got ready for school, I now finally know about werewolves and all that, the books that were left by my grandma was never a fairytale.

I thought to myself, "was that the reason that book kept attracting me?"

Eventually, two if my friends were one of them.

I picked up my backpack and turned the doorknob, it clicked and was opened.

From what Alaric told me about them, I knew they could cause harm to humans, and they could actually cause terror and fear to the existence of the human race

I was jolted out of my thought, when my dad called me.

His gaze was plastered on me this whole time, but I had not noticed.

I was already lost in my thought, it was part of me.

I guess.

He started "what were you thinking about this time, chels?" He asked me in a suspicious tone.

"It's nothing dad" I muttered.

"Are you sure?" He replied almost immediately.

"Yup, sure there is nothing wrong." I was still unable to get why he was asking me this, at this time, I was still lost in my thought when the door opened and closed shut.

It was my dad.

I called out for Jasper, it was already 7:23 am.

Finally, he came out.

And we left for school.

I and Kayla had arrived together like we have always done before.

Just on our way to class we had met with torin.

From my view, no one would even have the slightest thought of him being a werewolf.

A thought then slipped through my mind "was that the reason why he was avoided by everyone?" Nah that can't be the reason, cos no one would actually know about him being a werewolf.

He had a cold personality, so I guess that was enough to give me the answer to my question.

"Lost in thoughts again?" He startled me greatly.

My mouth was hung up. Like, I never noticed we were walking together the whole time and we were in the classroom.

I wondered how torin and Alaric knew each other, but I had finally gotten my answer to the question after realizing that they of course, were both werewolves.

Their bond was really strong also.

"I think u easily got over with it right" he ran his hands through his hair awkwardly.

I looked at his eyes closely and saw surprise in it.

"Why do you keep staring at me?"

"I wasn't, I just wanted to take a close look at something." I dropped my backpack on the chair .

"A close look at what?" He said, amidst furrowed eyebrows.

"Something not um...... really important" I shrugged.

"You haven't answered the question yet," He flashed a smile. "Why do you not look surprised?" He said with a boyish grin.

"I once spent almost everyday of my life, reading a lot of books about wolves and other supernatural creatures, so I don't still see any reason why I should actually be freaked out by it." I responded.

"Weren't you told about the harms we could cause." He instantly replied me in a cold tone.

"No, but I know the harm that you guys can cause, but sometimes there are certain people you can't hurt, even when you are totally insane." I was still staring at my backpack.

He looked at me and finally spoke out in an uncanny way "so you mean I can't hurt you right, even if I am totally insane?"he scoffed.

I looked at him in a weird way before I finally spake out. "so you mean you could actually hurt me right?" I folded my arms across my chest.

He pursed his lips "Chelsea, please stop trying to be emotional here." A smirk was plastered on his lips for a short time, but it slowly turned into a frown, as I burst into laughter.

I have been trying to hide it for a while though.

But I just couldn't.

"What's it about chels?" He asked in a confused state.

"Emotional uh?" I asked to be sure this time.

"Not r..e.all..y." he stammered.

"You should process some words first."he had started looking embarrassed.

He clenched his fist tightly, his eyes could tell it was time to precaution, as I took few steps back.

He grinned his teeth, I took more steps backward.

I thought to myself "is this what their anger is like."

The aura I could feel was so immense.

I started shivering, I had almost fall to my knees when Ms Adams came in.

Just at the right time, I finally have a sigh of relief

I headed towards my seat as Ms Adams had gestured me to do.

I didn't hesitate to do so.

Torin was on his seat at that time, his teeth were still grinned.

It was now I truly knew why we were told to avoid, his anger was totally above my expectations.

He looked at Kayla, it was like he had talked to her telepathically.

There were both staring at each other.

"Chelsea." Ms Adams called out my name.

I immediately turned to her direction, and I plastered a fake smile on my face.

"How did the myth of werewolf came about?" Her lips widened into a smile.

I wasn't listening to her lately, but thank God I knew just the answer and I went on, but before that I mouthed an "oh."

It all happened, when some set of people ganged up to poison Zeus but luckily for him, he found out and placed a curse on them to turn into half human and half wolf and they um... went to a witch , she told them she can't cast it off but instead she could make them transform into a wolf on their own will, especially during full moons and boom it started.

My gaze was still on her and she glanced through her book.

"That's just the perfect answer, you can have your seat"

"I guess today is just the perfect day for me." I thought to myself.

"I looked at Kayla and Torin and they both smiled at each other."
