Eighty three

Chelsea's P.O.V.

I jumped off from the bed, with a loud scream, only to see my mom standing at my front with her two hands placed on her waist.

It was like it was not the first time I screamed throughout the night.

"What happen to you chels?" She asked with a concerned gaze. "This is the fourth time you are doing this." She at down on the bed.

"It's nothing mom, it's really nothing." It was a nightmare for me, I mean today.

I found myself in a place which was void, dark and creepy.

After few moments, it was like I was drowning little by little. Every second, every minute and every hour, I was still calm but it wouldn't stop so I had to scream for help.

I shouted at the top of my voice, but all it did was echo around, it was like this place was a bottomless pit, which was very scary and also creepy.

It later stopped few minutes later.

I walked for about one hour in that dream, or should I say in that nightmare.

But to my greatest surprise I was still fit and agile to walk well. In the normal world I could not walk for thirty minutes not to mention me walking for one hour, because I would be writing my will.

All my while if working through that place I was still walking in the dark, there was no glimpse of light, it was like I could feel me walking to no destination.

I raised up my head and I saw a mighty building before me, the building was about fifty feet tall, it was almost like a skyscraper

It was the only building that was well lit, and also the only building there.

The look on my face was enough to tell that I was afraid, suspicious and cautious.

The breeze was starting to roar greatly, thunder had started clapping, I held one of the doorknob to the entrance of the building, it was a two sided door, but I opened one first.

I opened it slowly to avoid creaking sounds, I peeped, it was clear, there was no one in the room, it was an empty room.

I entered the room and closed the door. Everywhere became silent, I walked towards the door and opened it and the noise started again, I closed it once more and the noise ceased.

It was then, I realized that the room was sound proof.

I looked down and saw a pentagram which was in form of red color.

I walked towards the stairs, I climbed it gradually. The danger was still unknown to me, but I know that in a place like this any slight mistake I would be in a grave danger and it could cost my life.

I reached the front of a door, I looked at the little hole, seven people held themselves by the hand, candles surrounded them.

They were casting a spell or reciting an incantation on either someone or something. They wire a red cloak and their eyes were fiery, they were not really scary, but there was something more than scary or terrifying about them, it was their aura, it was an unbearable aura.

The aura could not be withstanded by humans but I am still wondering why I am still standing on my feet instead of my knees to have kissed the floor.

A hand leaned on my shoulder, I turned back in shock and screamed, I guess that was when I woke up with a scream.

"Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea!" A soft tap continued crashing on my face until I was jolted out of my thought completely, with immediate effect.

"It seems we are gonna visit the doctor today." My mom said and droopy her hand bag.

"Why mom?,” My nose wrinkled slightly at the dust that was cling to John's skin."I am not sick mom, I am alright."

"You are getting lost in thoughts and this time it is getting obvious and you are going deeper and deeper and it might reach the stage in which you might become unconscious." She studied the sunlight rippling on the mirror clear surface.

My eyes thinned "I am really feeling well mom, there is absolutely nothing you should worry about." My voice was convincing.

"Are you sure you are completely alright, chels?" She asked casually though but there was a hint of worry in her voice.

"Yes mum you can trust me in that." I felt a tingle of excitement.

She picked her hand bag and opened the door, she looked at me a one last time and her lips spread to a smile, I waved her a goodbye and the door was closed shut.

What I dreamt about was still very unclear to me, I tried to fill each part with another part but it just kept missing or I would take a wrong step in making one of those decisions wisely.

I wondered if there is any place like that in which exist in this human world. I usually have nightmares but this one is way beyond immense, and it is almost driving me insane.

We were on our holidays, it is a one month holiday, but I hope it's not gonna be a holiday that would be full of nightmares.

"Chelsea!" I heard John's voice loud and clear, I checked my phone, the time was already 8:26pm, this is the first time I would stand up from bed today.

I stretched as I stood up and yawned.

"What is it John?" I saw him standing at the doorpost.

"Looks like you are wanted." He shook his head towards the doorpost direction.

I walked towards the doorpost, it was Kayla, this was the first time she came into my apartment since I stepped my feet into this neighborhood.

"Chels, please I need your help about something." Kayla shoved her trembling fingers through her hair.

"Yes, I can help you anytime." I said.

"Please, have you heard from Torin." She seemed disappointed.

"Haven't heard from him in a while." U responded almost immediately.

"Ok then, I guess it's time I take my leave." Her jaw clamped tight.

"I will come down when I get a little information." I did not want her coming to be in vain.

I picked my phone to call Alaric, and he immediately picked it.

"Hey, ummm…how's Torin?" I inserted my hand into my pocket.

"I'm sorry chels, he his--------

"What?" I said out of shock, and my mouth was hung open.
