Authors pov
Jasper looked very frustrated as he went back home. He didn't know what he was thinking in the first place when he went to the police station. Obviously he knew from the very start that the police wouldn't believe him . He walked cautiously as he walked back to the house . He kept checking if he was being followed. He made up his mind to look for Alaric by all means . He walked straight to Chelsea's room maybe he could get a clue on how to locate Alaric and his pack . He searched through her wardrobe. He felt so frustrated after he couldn't find any clue in her room . He scattered the table in frustration. He paused when he saw a small folded paper drop . He picked the paper hoping for the best . He sighed in relief when he saw a map . It turned to be a map to Alaric's location.

Kayla pov
The room was so silent that I could hear my own breathing. Kevin had finally kept quiet after ranting for over an hour . Her gaze turned to the door as it flung open . The vampire king walked in show casing his ugly set of teeth.
" Oh look who we have here "
I gritted my teeth as he spoke .
The vampire king walked over to Kevin side.
" You turned out to be a very handsome guy "
Kevin spat to his face in annoyance. The vampire king laughed wiping the fluid off his face.
" You must have forgotten how to show respect for your king or have you forgotten you are still one of us "
I couldn't suppress a mocking laughter when I heard what he said . .
" Vampire king or whatever you call yourself, you are still deceiving yourself that you have authority you are just like every other vampire , so wake up from your dreams "
I spoke purely irritated by the way he held hiself in high regards .
The vampire king faced me leaving Kevin side .
" You know you guys would still be punished for betraying the coven and supporting a werewolf. And I still promise to help you dispose off your werewolf lover . As for your parents they would soon be taken care of "
I balled my fist trying so hard to hold in my anger . I knew he was going to threaten me with my parents life . I knew I was already loosing it as I clenched my teeth , my eyes shot red with anger as I spoke .
" Vampire king or whatever you call yourself, read my lips carefully. You are nothing but a coward . And for your information I am very much aware that you are scared if Alaric "
I spoke not holding back my words . I could see the expression of the vampire king as what I said definitely got to him . Before I knew what was happening a heavy slap landed in my cheeks . I held my cheeks and stared at him for a while and burst into laughter. I love the feeling in me right now . I love the hurt the vampire king got from the reality of my words . He seemed taken aback by my laughter. This made me laugh even more .
Kevin pov
It was the courage that got me smiling
The way she served the words to the vampire king gave me a lot of satisfaction. I am always grateful and always would be grateful for having a courageous sister like Kayla .
I smiled as I watched the vampire king walk out of the room .
" Watch them closely . They must not escape"
I heard as he instructed the guards at the entrance and took away the only guard in the room with us.
Now we were alone. Tied to the chair with the silver chains. None of us spoke to each other.

Jasper walked over to the black Smith. He planned on getting hiself completely prepared . Just in case he encounters danger on the road . He had purchased a silver dagger as he made his way through the woods following the map .

Vampire king pov
I walked into my room looking very angry . Kayla's words really hit me hard. I had made up my mind to finish off Alaric no matter what . I was going to prove to everyone in the vampire race that I am the vampire king
I couldn't help but smile at the thought of defeating Alaric completely. I planned on visiting Alaric's little princess but that could wait a little because I had plans to make to bring her lover down ..

Authors pov
Chelsea finally woke up . She could smell an unfamiliar environment as she slowly opened her eyes . She felt really uncomfortable where she sat . She tried standing but couldn't. She frowned as she found out she was tied to the chair . She examined her environment for a while .
Chelsea's pov
After so much thinking, I tried so hard to figure out where I was . My eyes flew open as I recalled being attacked at the rooftop after sending Elena off. I stared around the room as I realised there was a vampire guarding the entrance. I shook in fear as I knew I was captured by the vampire king. I felt fear but I hid it .

It took like forever before I got to the end of the map . I was this was Alaric and his pack location.
Alaric pov .
I smiled as I tried to open the gate to Chelsea's house . I hadn't contacted her for the past few days because I wanted her to spend time with her family . I frowned as I walked into the gate . The building looked empty. And I could sense something was off somewhere. I walked into the room but no one was there .
" Chelsea "
I called as I made my way to her room . The door was opened and the room looked scattered. Everywhere looked strange and I could feel that something had happened but I couldn't place my fingers in what exactly it was. I made my way back to the pack . Hoping to find out if Torrin had heard from Kayla .
