Seventy three
Ms Adams finally walked out of our class, after forty five minutes that was the time for each period though.
And she was known for not using more than her period.
Unlike some of our teachers.
She had now walked out with her books held close to her chest.
I was still staring at Kayla and torin when someone called out for me.
"Chelsea" it was Kayla's voice.
"Yeah?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"You know, it really is a bad habit to stare at someone for too long." She gave me a cold stare.
I was just checking if torin was still infuriated.
He actually looked at me with an evil grin.
"Torin?" I called out for him, in an unsure way, I didn't know he was actually gonna get pissed off by my word.
Maybe, it wasn't because of my word though.
I guess, I could say it was because everyone were staring at him and he felt embarrassed.
That was actually enough to make him pissed off.
"You called me right?" I heard torin's voice.
I was actually surprised cause he is a short-tempered kind of guy.
I could feel my brows furrowing. "Torin?" I narrowed my gaze at him.
These days, he had been acting at his best.
"It was nothing actually." I was careful this time with my words.
"No prob then." He was a fan of abbreviation, actually.
"Then I guess we are even." I flashed my set of white teeth.
The bell was rung for school dismiss.
Kevin and Jasper were not in school today, so I guess we three would have to go home alone today.
I mean I, Kayla and of course torin.
"It's time to go then." I yawned and stretched.
Today was a bit stressful, actually.
"Let's get moving, then." Torin handed me my backpack.
Kayla was already at the doorpost of the classroom.
I guess talks had started making a bored, easily.
Or maybe it was all because Kevin wasn't with her.
She had stopped acting weird.
It was a long walk, about fifty six minutes.
I checked my wristwatch.
"Goodbye torin, Kayla." I had signaled her that we should get moving home but she said she was going somewhere with torin.
I shrugged and waved her goodbye also.
I have been a little bit suspicious lately, about torin and Kayla.
Or is it what I am thinking?
Then I mouthed a "no."
I turned the doorknob of my parlour door and it clicked open.
I looked inside, before I walked in.
It was my nature though.
I actually have a strong phobia for being at home, alone.
I closed the door shut and it clicked.
I walked towards the bathroom and showered for about fifteen minutes.
I went upstairs to pick my cloth.
It was a pink singlet and a black knicker which was ripped and I went downstairs.
To the dinning room actually.
I had my earphones on my ears it was "GAYLE, abcdefu" I was listening, to when I suddenly heard the parlour door creaking.
I went to the door and there was no one there.
I had started panicking.
This was one of the top three reasons I actually hated being home alone.
It happened again.
I was starting to get afraid the more.
"Fuck!" I muttered.
My phone started ringing, I answered it but all I kept hearing was a screeching sounds.
It was actually an unknown number.
It kept on repeating itself.
I had started hearing different kinds of sounds.
It was already getting immense already.
"This shit ain't funny you know?"
I was trying to be brave but it was actually the fucking opposite.
I could even sense fear in my tone.
My eyes was starting to get teary.
I hated stuffs like this, really bad.
I heard a knock on my door, I slowly walked towards the door with a stainless steel spoon on my hand. I was ready for any danger already.
I opened it and stayed at the back of the door to counter any attacks.
A saw a manly creature walk into the parlour, he turned back with a wide boyish grin, I raised up the spoon, but to my greatest surprise.
It was my brother.
I dropped the spoon down and went down to the floor with my back on the wall.
I gave a sigh of relief.
"What happened when I was not here chels?" He asked suspiciously.
John came in with him but went straight to the food I had kept on the dinning table.
He didn't give a fuck about anything that happened.
He was also good at Savage talks too.
"It is my nature that happened." I scoffed.
He bursted into laughter.
He was gonna actually start something from it. "You sure are still a cry baby chels." He had almost begin with his Savage talks.
A call dropped and Jasper went to answer it, few minutes later he dropped the phone down and sighed.
"Who's call was that?" I asked immediately he dropped it.
"It was the call of an angelic being." He crunched the apple placed on the table.
He had started with his Savage talks again.
John had started laughing at that time.
"Shut the hell up John!" I yelled angrily, what happened before they both came in hadn't left my head.
I quickly apologized to him, and he smiled at me.
"It was dad's call, actually." Jasper hands were placed on the dinning chair.
"About what?" John had cutted in sharply.
"Him and mom won't be coming home today." John frowned but in a second or two he jumped up from the couch and started shouting.
"Finally the cornflakes is gonna be eaten to the last, by me." He crossed his legs. "And the milk, also." I could tell he was really happy.
I went out to the garden with a novel on my hand.
It was titled "blood moon." I was reading page one hundred and thirty five when I started feeling sleepy.
I can't actually finish it though.
I was on my way to the entrance door when I heard slow footsteps at my back.
I looked back and I saw something that shocked me down to my spine.
