Alaric's POV
I was confused at Chelsea's sudden outburst, she wasnt one to act impulsively.
"Why don't you want her anymore Chels?" I asked her.
"You're incredibly irresistible and hot, she's blushing just by staring at your chest, how can I bear to eat h her touch you any longer? Who wouldn't be tempted, I won't stand by and watch any gurl touch my man." She explained.
I smiled as I got the drill, she was jealous, of course how could I forget? She's in love with me, I chuckled and dismissed the girl.
"She'll take care of me as she rightly said." I said.
The maid bowed and left.
"You're jealous Chelsea, it's written all over your face." I informed her.
"I'm not." She denied.
I smiled, it was wholesome seeing her become possessive over me first.
"Since you've volunteered to help me dress my wound, do it already." I teased.
She took the tray and began to dress the wound, she cracked me up by muttering about how girls wouldn't pass any opportunity to seduce a beautiful man and went on further to give me tips on how to avoid been seduced, I laughed out loud and teased her in turn, she sevred me the food she brought and went as far as feeding me.
We interacted like we've been lover for ages and I loved it, she brought some matching couples outfit and insisted we wear them, I couldn't argue or win against her so I succumbed to her wishes, that weekend we spent the when time doing whatever she wanted, when the weekends were over, she locked herself in the bathroom and cried that she didn't want to leave, I couldn't help but laugh at her childish act and behavior.
"How about you live here with me? Since you don't want to go back tomyour.own house." I suggested as I escorted her to the car.
"I'd love to but my parents don't know we're a thing." She replied.
"Oh, that's right." I said sadly.
She got into the car and I kissed her goodbye, I called her immediately she got home and we talk at length, the following day, I dressed up and ordered Cain to drive me to her parents house I called her up and asked her to meet me there, she was surprised to receive such call and met me.
Chelsea's Pov
After getting Alaric's message, I rushed down to my parent's place, I met him in the living room, seated comfortably and chatting with my father.
"Chelsea darling, you're here, come sit." My dad said.
I sat down beside him and smiled.
"This young man here has something to say." Dad said, pointing to Alaric.
My jaw almost dropped as I saw Alaric, he looked scrumptious in the black leather three-piece suit he wore, my mother came in with a ate of her homemade chocolate cake and offered it to him, Alaric took a bite appreciated my mother and cleared his throat.
"Sir and ma'am, my name is Alaric and I'm an orphan, yes my parents are dead, I run a local business down here in tow and make a few thousand dollars in a year, I'll like to get your permission to court your daughter Chelsea, openly, I love her alot and promise to never break her heart." Alaric said.
I was shocked, he came to ask for my hand in a relationship from my parents, I made a mental note to kiss the hell out of him when we meet privately, my father chuckled.
"Chelsea, do you give your consent to this?" My father asked.
"Yes I do." I said, smiling at Alaric.
"Then I give you my blessings." My father said.
I was shocked, my father consented so easily, almost too easily to me and when Alaric requested that he take me out and we'll get back the third day, my parents made no objections, I was blown away.
On the ride back to his place, I decided to ask him how he managed to convince my dad.
"Alaric, how in the whole world did you manage to convince my dad and mum?" I asked curiously.
"Simple, I turned on my charm and they couldn't resist!" He joked, we both laughed it off and chatted about random things as we went on.
It's been months since we've started dating and I couldn't be any happier, my life was going as anned and good heavens be blessed for giving me Alaric, he doesn't hesitate to give me what I want and attend to my needs, he pampered and showered me with his lobe, I informed Kayla I had a boyfriend and she was sincerely happy for me.
She met up with Alaric several times and she couldn't stop telling me how lucky I was, she avoided the conversation whenever I asked her of Torin and I decided to let her be, when she deems it fit she would surely open up to me, once in a while I still remember what Chris has done to me and get scared that Alaric would do same bit I'm assured that Alaric isn't Chris, he is my soulmate and would never hurt me.
College life was even better, my life revolved around Alaric and we would swoon on each other, he offered to buy me a car but I politely refused, I didn't want to draw too much attention to myself.
I rushed to class again this morning and bumped into a guy, I frantically apologized to him and stopped when I thought he looked familiar.
"I'm.sorry but you look awfully familiar." I told him.
"We sat together in Greek mythology classes few months back." He reminded me.
"Oh my god, I'm awfully sorry for not thanking that day, you really saved my ass, thank you." I said honestly.
"You're welcome,.it's no big deal, I'm Callin." He introduced himself.
"And I'm Chelsea." I said and we shook hands.
"We're headed the same direction, come, I'll save you a seat." He offered.
I smiled.
"Of course." I replied.
We attended the class together and ever since we became good friends, he'd save a seat or spot for me when I didn't arrive early and I'd do same, it's been over six months and my relationship with Alaric could never be more better, Kayla finally opened up about Torin, turns out he told her he was just passing time using her and never loved her.
She moved on or so she told me and decided to forget about relationships for now, while she, Callan and I bonded and became best of friends.
