Seventy four
Chelsea's POV
I stood there, not able to do a single thing.
I was not even able to move a finger.
I was shivering, my knees were forced to touch the floor, this aura was to immense for a mere human like me, living a normal life.
I was terrified as never before, I couldn't control myself at that particular moment.
The beginning of today was fortunate for me, but in the ending it was more than misfortunate for me.
It was a wolf that stood before me, on its fours.
It growled, revealing it's fangs.
From the view it was sharp enough to bite through a hard wood.
A young man, or should I rather say guy stood at my front.
They both took a strong gaze at each other.
After minutes, the wolf turned back and walked away.
It looked back again, before it finally vanished away from my sight.
The lad looked at me, and to my greatest surprise it was Alaric.
Author's P.O.V
His eyes were golden in colour.
"Did you have any idea who that creature is?" Alaric yelled on top of his voice, he heard started losing his temper at the moment.
"What did you expect from me, I don't fucking know who that bloody fucking creature is." Chelsea could no longer hide the frustration.
"You just get yourself into a mess that may have cost your life at this very moment." He paused for few minutes and continued. "Look Chelsea, you can't withstand this crea-"
"Those insane creatures uhn?" Chelsea was beginning to get fired up.
"My door creaked at first, unknown numbers kept calling me and only to make a screeching sound on the phone, those things are getting me insane." Chelsea eyes was getting teared up.
"Just keep a cool head about this, chels." He ran his hands through his hair.
"I can't keep my head cool and pretend, that all of this never happened, you guys are psycho and you all need to visit a psychiatrist." Chelsea kept walking to and fro.
"We are psychoes uhn?" Alaric reached his hand out to check his wristwatch.
"Yeah, of course you guys are, hurting human causing chaos, i mean I am the only one who knows about you guys and weird stuffs has been happening to me lately." Chelsea was in a confused state already, and she headed towards the stairs and sat down there.
"Torin controlled his anger in school, but he would never let it slide." Alaric began. Many people had experienced this and it never ended in a good way for them, it was either no one found them again or they transformed into one of us." Alaric sat close to Chelsea didn't know what to do anymore.
"So you mean he wanted to do the same to me also?" Chelsea scoffed.
"If possible, he can do so." He replied almost immediately.
"But, I thought he had forgiven me, right in the classroom." Chelsea wrinkled a page in the novel, into a scrap.
"He had probably done so." He winked.
"Then why did he show up in a pretty anoying creature, trying to hurt me?" Chelsea responded with a surprised look on her face.
"If he hadn't forgiven you he would have killed you couple of minutes before I even arrive here, he wasn't the strongest but he is one of the fastest actually." Alaric lips stretched into a smile.
"How's that my business?"
"Look chels, we never liked being a wolf in the beginning, but as time goes on we started accepting who we are, little by little."
"I don't have time for this explanation, how about we talk about this tomorrow?"
"Those weird things that happened when you arrived from school was not torin."
"Then who is the person, things just keeps getting complicated since you told me the wolf and other freaking supernatural being stories." She threw the torn page on the floor. "Does that means there is a great consequences for revealing this stuffs to mere human, like me?"
"It was a coincidence, all that happened today was a coincidence, and rest assured that it would never happen again, the person that came by in the afternoon would be caught very soon and you will be notified by me."
"Your ears are getting red again." She already looked like she was already at ease.
"Then I guess we are even."
"Yeah chels."
"Goodbye or goodnight which of them are supposed to be used?"
They both burst into laughter.
"Goodbye Ric." Chelsea stood up and headed towards the door.
"Goodnight chels." Alaric waved her goodbye.
She entered and looked through the door, but he was no longer in sight.
Alaric was walking through the bush when he started hearing footsteps.
He pretended, he didn't hear anything as he continued walking without stopping or looking suspicious.
It kept approaching him the more.
"This is the perfect time to strike." He turned swiftly and grabbed the hand of a woman, she was holding a dagger.
Not just any dagger, but it was shinny the edge of the dagger was like a bottle where was filled with blood.
Alaric removed the dagger from her hand.
"You shouldn't be doing thi-
He had received a kick in his nose before he had his statement completed.
He staggered back a little, and later maintained balance.
She ran towards his direction sending punch at him from the right and left, he kept dodging them he had predicted everyone of her moves. Alaric sent a blow to her that sent her mid air.
She landed with her back on the floor.
"Who the fuck are you?" Alaric rolled up his sleeves.
"That should be a question for another day, mother fucker." She had already stood up to her feet.
"Then I guess we are gonna have to do it the hard way, then." Alaric held a baby the neck and slammed her on the floor.
She groaned weakly and sprayed a substance tht was has like.
Alaric covered his nose and took few steps back.
It cleared and she was no longer there.
Alaric phone ringed and he narrowed his gaze at the name
