Jeff relaxed his grip and smiled "Oh yes,"
Jeff what happened? Why did Mr Meyer take me away ” Bethany asked as she
looked at the ceiling.
Jeff smiled bitterly and explained “You were drunk and I was about to send you back after
paying the bill. Suddenly Mr. Meyer showed up and said that I was up to no good and took you”
“I see" Bethany nodded
Jeff chuckled and said, “I don't understand why Mr. Meyer would think that way. We know
each other for such a long time. Why would I do that? Instead, I was worried that he would advantage of you. That was why I called you repeatedly and sent you messages. I was relieved only when you returned my calls”
What Jeff said was very heartwarming.Although the misunderstandings were comical, it was because both Jeff and Zayn were concerned for her safety. Bethany looked towards the door as if she wished to be able to look through the door and walls to peek at Zayn.

As she was waiting for the car, she heard a a familiar voice, "Wills, what car do you want to buy?” It was Daphne!
Bethany looked in the direction of the voice and saw Daphne clinging coyly onto Wills as they walked in. They looked inappropriate as a couple.
“I want to buy a Bentley," Wills said as he stroked Daphne's hair.Daphne bit her lips and said, "But Wills, Bentley is too expensive. I don't have so much money. You should know that the Group is having some cash flow difficulties."
"I don't care, You said that you're going to buy me a car. You can ask your husband for more
money ” Wills did not care and wanted a Bentley.
Daphne did not object and went outside to make a call.

"Okay, I'll clean it thoroughly." She blushed as she held onto the car key. Zayn just nodded and did not say anything else.
Back at her apartment:
Bethany placed the two bags of clothes down and walked gently into the room she looked around for a while. She then left the room.
Bethany yawned as she sat in the sitting room. She took out her phone and saw that there were several missed calls and messages from Jeff. She remarked in surprise and quickly returned his calls.

“I'm home,” Bethany said as she helped herself with a glass of water.

“Then please relay my thanks to Ms. Sue” Bethany placed the clothes into the bag.
Zayn ignored her.
She bit her lips and noticed that he had not looked at her ever since she came out of the bathroom. He even treated her coldly.
