Zayn took her to the car and immediately he drove off without waiting for Gael as he was in too much hurry.
He continued to start at Bethany as he drove along the slippery street–This was because the rain had showered earlier.
After about fifteen minutes of drive, he arrived at the entrance of the blue ridge manor. He got down from the car and moved to the passenger seat to pick up Bethany, who was still bleeding heavily.
He took her to the entrance, before he could press the doorbell, or was immediately slid open as Ms.Sue stood right in front of the door, but when she saw the woman in his arms, she quickly gave way for him to pass.
Immediately, she rushed after him to lead him to the guest that she has prepared just some hours before–But she was left speechless when she saw Zayn taking Bethany into the master's bedroom instead of the guest.
Zayn wasn't even in the mood to think of anything else right now as all of his attention is only on Bethany.
Left in a daze, Ms. Sue turned back and returned to the kitchen to prepare some hot water for Bethany. Just as she stepped down the stairs, she heard a loud knock on the door.
It must be the doctor. she thought as she rushed around to open the door.
It was indeed the doctor,
“Please, come this way, doctor,” She asked as she paved way for the doctor to enter the living room. After that, she closed the food behind her and took the lead upstairs.
“This way, the patient is in the room” She pointed toward the master's bedroom as she moved aside to let him through. After that, she went back to the kitchen to heat the water.
She lit up the gas and put the water on, but she couldn't concentrate on anything as her mind kept drifting back to the woman from earlier.
Who was she and why did young master take her to his bedroom with Miss Giselle? he has never even allowed Miss Danica to step into this room even once in the past few years and he just took another woman into the room without considering anything?
What's going here?
Why does it feel like I know her from somewhere and I have seen her before?
“Nanny watch over her. I'm going out for some work”
Ms. Sue heard a familiar voice called out to her in a cold, husky voice as he steps down the stairs.
“where are you going, young master? It's already too late to go out like this” Ms. Sue asked as she looked at him helplessly. She knew that he wasn't going to listen to her but she had no choice but to try and stop him.
She was startled by his blood shoot eyes which troubled her so much.
“Don't worry about me, just focus on her. I'll be back before you know it”.
With that, he left in large strides.
Not long after, the doctor also came out of the room with some medicines in his hands.
“These are her medicines, please give them to her when she regains consciousness, Ms.Sue. Also, don't let her go anywhere right now as she has lost a lot of blood and needs to recuperate by getting enough rest.” The Doctor instructed as he handed over the medicines to her.
“It's alright, doctor. I'll watch over her” she replied before collecting it.
With that, she took the drugs and went to see the doctor off to the doctor.
Immediately, the doctor left the house. she took the hot bowl of water into the bedroom where Bethany was still sleeping with her eyes tightly closed in slumber.
When Ms.Sue laid her eyes on the sleeping woman, she felt the surge in her heart rise instantly as she felt a sudden connection with the woman–It's strange but there is no denying the fact that the woman has an aura that makes her look very familiar or maybe it's just a gut feeling nothing more.
