Five years later......


In the city's famous fashion gallery located in the center of Bay City, a fashion exhibition was being held.


Everything was moving into top gear backstage. As the assistant to the leading figure of the fashion show, Sandra was checking details on the clothes for the models.

The famous fashion company was making its grand entry into the Bay City fashion market and this was their launch coming to the city.

The company came into the limelight about three years ago, and the demand for their fashion products has been so high that it would send several shivers down the spines of competitors, and what more, it's finally has a branch in Bay City.

After a few minutes of checking n the designers, the assistant seemed to have a look of confusion on her face, then she put a call across to someone.

“Miss Burnett, I sent you a couple of designs now. Do you think this will fit the models assigned?”

She said while holding the blueprint in her hands worriedly.

There was no longer anytime to waste since it was almost time for the show.

“Let me have a look first”

Bethany Burnett was the name that Giselle had used to disguise her in the fashion industry.

She spent the last five years metamorphosis into a famous fashion designer, winning numerous awards without the world knowing who she was.



After a period of busywork, she stood behind the curtains in the spacious office reserved for her, watching the audience.

Suddenly.....

She saw a familiar face in the crowd.

It was Danica.... why did she attend the show now?

Danica, who was sitting in the auditorium, could barely sit still. she frequently inquired from her assistant, Janet, “Have you confirmed whether or she is coming to the show?”

“ Yes ma'am, it is confirmed that Miss Burnett has returned home from abroad, and will be present in her first debut in the city”.


Although the assistant gave a firm answer, she was not sure that Bethany would show up, because this lowly fashion designer had never appeared in public not even a single picture of her from her abroad debuts.

It was too difficult to detect her traces, and getting information about her was too difficult as well.


No one knows how she looks. whether she was ugly or beautiful, nobody could tell since they've not come across her once before.



At the end of the show, when the audience started to leave, Bethany did not make an appearance.

At this result, Danica became furious.


Danica had become famous in the fashion industry after she took over the company, but her success was controversial. she was critical for gaining the public's support with the help of Zayn Meyer– When her relationship with Zayn came to the limelight she was greatly criticized for ruining her sister's home which led to her losing a lot of supporters, but hen she came up with a damage control which forced the public to sympathize with her.

She had lied that Giselle forced her into cleaning after her since she had eloped with her lover, but unfortunately, she met with a terrible end.


Even though with the supports from Zayn and his mother, her works have been greatly challenged by others, and when the fashion company named, Deluxe fashion edition came into the limelight a few years ago it had greatly ruined her chances of staying at the top.

Nonetheless, Bethany's niche works at the fashion week appealed to Danica three years ago, since then Danica had stepped into the part of plagiarism, and the support from the people increase. But she knew this won't last long, and if the people find out, it will spend doom for her, so she wanted to find this woman whose design skills can match up the owner of the deluxe fashion edition.

Hearing the news that Bethany was back, she could not wait to employ her. After all, copying was not a long-term goal.



But Bethany was so conceited that, Danica failed to meet her.

Danica exited the bathroom and bumped into a dressed woman.

The body looked familiar to her, but the face was different.

strange. why do I feel like I've met her before?

It was not strange for Giselle to meet Danica, whom she had recognized among the audience earlier on.


“Hey, don't you watch where you're going! You clumsy wimp, don't you even know how to walk properly in a public place like this? who even allowed a beggar like you into a place like this,? Look how you've ruined my expensive dress with your filthy hands”.


Danica kept raining expletives on the other woman who had a calm expression on her. After Danica stopped with a rain of words, she opened her mouth and apologized, saying.“I'm is sorry for your dress, Miss. But next, you should check your eye sights to be sure if they are working perfectly before you left the house. stop being a nuisance in a public place and making a fool of yourself when you're not a saint”


“How dare you talk back at me? are you courting death? do you even know who I am?”.

She yelled clenching her fists tightly after listening to what the woman had said to her.

She had never thought that a plain woman like her would stand and talk directly back at the once famous model and top fashion designer in the city.

Or she did not know much about her it seemed.

“I very well know, who you are, Miss Medina. A famous model and fashion designer, right?”.

“You know and you dare stand before me and spew trash after ruining my dress? do you know I can have you arrested for this?

“I'm sorry Miss, but I think you're mistaken. You are the one who bumped into me, remember? So you should apologize to me first,”.

Hearing this, Danica felt her head spinning in circles as she couldn't understand what's going on anymore.

She was once the most respected in the city, and now someone else is ruling over her.

Thinking of their great difference in social standing, Danica was infuriated.


Then, she wanted to raise her hand to scold the pale woman. when she recalled that she was in a public place, and if the paparazzi from the industry get a glimpse of what she was about to do, then her reputation would deteriorate. moreover, she had been struggling to men her ruined reputation, and staying away from the scandal is one of the best ways to achieve them.

With that, her hand was left hanging in the mid-air.

If she was caught hurting the woman, they would assume that she was bullying a poor helpless person because she was rich and powerful so no one can come at her– with news like this spreading like wildfire in the city, she would be boycotted and blacklisted. no amount of damage control would be as to resurrect her publicity.

I can't allow a filthy woman like herself to ruin my chances of getting close to my goals. if the designer is here and saw me hurting her then she might change her mind about partnering with me if she had nursed the thought initially. This low life won't be the end of me now. I'm going to let her off the hook this time, but if I ever det my eyes on her next time in a secluded place, then she won't forget me so easily.


With this thought, she unwillingly dropped the hand that she had raised when she saw someone approaching the restroom.

“Uh, your dress looks beautiful and the material is very good as well. it must have cost you a fortune, right?”

She said pretentiously while smiling when the passerby was close to them. she wanted to create a good image of herself in front of others.

After saying that, she moved to the plain woman to touch the edge of her clothing while wearing a smile that didn't reach her teeth.

“You can quit acting now, Miss Medina. Nobody's watching your acting performance right now, you know. I think you should join the entertainment industry, you'd make a great actress”

Bethany said sarcastically while hurling her away from her dress.

Danica didn't know this woman would be so smart to see through her thoughts right away. She was mad that the woman had dared to touch her hands before slinging them away.

how dare she do this?


“I'm letting you off this time because you look pitiful enough, otherwise I would have you arrested for harassment”

Danica said arrogantly as if she was doing her a favor by not getting get her arrested. She wore a smirk while raising her brows.


“Don't make it seems like you're doing me a favor with this. You bumped into me first anyway, and I have proofs to back up my claims. There are a few hidden cameras around, remember?”

Danica was at a loss for words as she did not have a comeback for this.
