At last, only Zayn was left in the conference room.
“Gael”.
“Yes, you called for me, President Meyer?”
Gael the assistant of Zayn rushed into the room as soon as he heard his name; the truth is, he's been waiting eagerly in front of the door waiting for his call.
He looked extremely happy while coming into the room.
“Look into this matter, and find out who is behind everything. I want to know who is behind the scene”.
“Yes, I understand, President Meyer”.
Gael nodded excitedly and was about to exit the room first when Zayn call after him again. At this moment, Zayn raised his head to look at him, then he gave him an order.“Go to the city center, and give the woman 500 dollars first”.
With the image of Bethany at dawn springing up in his mind, his eyes slowly darkened.
Nevertheless, he never owed others, so he wouldn't do so this time as well.

When Gael arrives at the hospital, Bethany had already gone back home. unfortunately, the nurse also lost the contact information about Bethany, so there was no way to get through to her now.

Meanwhile, Danica returned home to the villa after a hectic night outside. She was so furious as she walked into the house gawking angrily at anyone who tried to greet her along the way.
Her face was crushed into a deep frown and her legs wobbles as she staggered into the house.
upon getting to the living room she crouched into a sofa nearby and clenched her fists at the thought of the event from last night.
When she couldn't hold back the anger she felt inside, she angrily threw the glass of water on top of the coffee table to the floor, smashing it into many pieces.
As soon as the sound of the glass shattering caught the attention of their members of the family, they all came running.
“What's going on with you, Danica? Why are you breaking things? ”
Her aunt, Matilda yelled out as soon as she lay eyes on the broken shards of glass on the floor.
Matilda has always loved interfering in everything that happens at the Medina mansion, but her husband had always warned her to keep her distance since her words could land them in trouble if she were to cross the boundaries.
“Didn't you hear me, Why are you breaking things that you didn't buy? That was my favorite cup, you know?.
She said, as she further squat down to have a look at the broken glass.
With a cold and arrogant voice, Danica stood up from the couch and went close to her, with a sarcastic and mocking tone, she said, “Who on earth allows you to have favorite things? You should be grateful, I didn't force you to drink with your dress, and eat from the floor”.
Matilda was stunned for a couple of minutes after hearing what she said. Then, she stood up back to her real height and dusted her palm before glaring at Danica sternly.
“I never expected anything less from you in the first place. I always knew you were sneaky but I didn't know you were such a sneaky snake, Danica. I'm still wondering why Giselle left all the properties to you and your mother. I'm very sure you two did something wrong ”.
She replied with a loud tone, and her voice was laced with doubts and suspicion.
“What are you insinuating, aunt Matilda? You should know that I'm just tolerating your nonsense because of grandpa and grandma, but that doesn't give you the right to question my authorities around here, otherwise, I would send out you of this villa if you dare go against me now”.
Danica threatened while pointing her finger at the doorway.
With a smirk on her face, Matilda moved closer to her before saying, “Hum. not like you're doing me a favor by letting me stay here, Danica. This is my house as well. I owned a share in this property, so stop acting like you're doing us a favor letting us stay here”.
After she said that, she pushed her shoulders into Danica and walked away from the living room heading to her room on the second floor.
“How dare.........”
Danica swerved around sharply to scold the woman. However, she was met with pairs of eyes glaring at her with hatred.
“What are you all looking at? go back to work and stop eavesdropping on people's conversation, otherwise I'll send you all home”.
The maids left after one after each other, after getting scolded by Danica.
Immediately, Everyone left the living room, Samantha walked in through the entrance door.
“What's going on here, Danica? I could hear your voice from the parking lot. Did anyone bully you?
Without saying a word to her mother, Danica rushed off to her room and the woman tried to go after her, then she recalled that she had come home with someone else.
She turn back to say something, but the little someone beat her to it, as he said.“Don't worry about me, grandma. You should go and pacify mommy, she needs you now”.
After saying that, the little boy strode away in a high spirit which makes him look like an adult. Samantha stared after him until he got to the exit door of the living room before she retrieved her eyes and turn towards the stairs.
“What do you think, You're doing Danica? Are you going to get us all in trouble by blowing off our covers with your doings? ”
Samantha said in a gentle tone while slamming the door behind her. Then, she walked into the room fully and met Danica, who was laying on the bed silently.
But as soon as she noticed that Samantha was in the room, she quickly stood up from the bed and strode over to stand in front of the dressing mirror.
Irritated, she turn around slightly before saying. “what on earth are you still doing with that child? Why would keep taking him everywhere you went? it's annoying to watch, you know?”.
She showed a disgusted face after saying these words then she settled down in front of the mirror while gazing at her reflection.
Danica is naturally a blindly beautiful woman; who's beauty always stands out from the rest of the crowd as she had outstanding features with delicate eyes and long wavy hair.
This beautiful face and dazzling body have helped her to stand at the top of her game for the last few years, but now she's no longer satisfied as she wanted everything under her feet.
Although she has gotten together with Zayn still he has refused to do anything to uplift her wrongly.
Furious by her intention of changing the topic, Samantha took hold of her hand and pulled her. she was made to look at Samantha while she was still frowning bitterly. If she wasn't going to avoid creating scenes right now, she would have landed a slap on her cheeks and forced senses into her empty skull.
How could she act so unruly despite knowing everything?
Why can't she just listen and act accordingly for once?

She was furious and her face was suddenly drained of color as she yelled at Danica.

She stroked her hair gently, “Tell me what had happened at the dinner last night. why didn't you return home after the dinner? Did you get into a fight with Zayn once again?”.
Danica stood up from the front of the dressing mirror and walked over to the window. She pulled the curtain aside and had a look at the brightness of the sun penetrating the room through the opened windows.
After gazing for a while, she turned around abruptly and said.“How can I have a fight with him when he didn't even show up at the dinner event last night? I spent the whole anticipating his arrival but he never showed up. I guess he must have found out I was going to be there and he didn't want to see me, so he refused to come. isn't that great mom? Giselle is not here anymore but she's still haunting me and driving me crazy every passing minute”.
She sounded sad and helpless as she said these words. Then, she quickly rearranged her expression as she put on the look of a strong woman, and the corners of her lips curled into a dirty smile.
I thought giving him the most precious gift would endear me to him but he doesn't even care about the child, not I so why should I be bothered about this matter?.
“I think your approaches are to be blamed for how he treats you. You kept throwing yourself at him and even though he had learned of the scandalous thing that Giselle did, he remains adamant about her. You should change your strategy first before making complaints”.
Samantha said as she patted her shoulders.

Just as she was about to put up a couple of debates, her phone suddenly rang out, and glanced at the screen
It was her assistant, Jane.
“Ma'am, I sent a few articles on your WhatsApp now. Please go through the first ”.
Soon after, the call dropped, and Danica quickly scrolled through her WhatsApp and saw the messages that Jane left for her.
She tapped into the message box, and she was shocked by what was written in them.
