Bethany limped slowly and got into the car while Zayn watched silently–He felt his heart-gripping tightly at the sight of Bethany getting into another person's car even when he had offered to bring her home.
Seeing her getting into the car, Zayn felt bad. However, he quickly confronted himself as he scolded himself for feeling so entitled to her attention.
Bethany got into the car and slammed the car door behind her as she looked through the mirror and saw that Zayn has just slammed on the gas.
His car slowly drove away from the Blue ridge company. Bethany watched until it was no longer in sight.
“It's a good thing you came with the less expensive ride. Otherwise, it would gave caused a scene” Bethany said as she put on her seatbelt while glancing through the mirror.
Jacob quickly looked in her direction before replying, “I was worried that people might draw their attention on you if I had brought along your favorite Lamborghini” Jacob knew exactly what Miss Bethany likes. however, he also knows that this is not a good time to show that.
“It's good you didn't bring that, I would have pretended not to know you and maybe you would have had to court for another job” Bethany replied in a firm voice after she was done setting the seatbelt on herself.
“I wouldn't dare to do a thing like that, Miss Burnett”
“Arent you worried that the man might get suspicious seeing you get in a car with me?”. Jacob sounded like he was worried.
„I know about that as well, so I have made up an excuse when I ran into him at the entrance. He wouldn't pay much attention to this matter for now”.
“Really? You're so smart, Miss Burnett ” Jacob smiled at her with a look of admiration.
“What time is the flight from the Maldives arriving at the airport ?” She suddenly asked out of the blues.
“I supposed, they should have arrived about an hour ago. However, there was a ta technical problem, so it got delayed again and now it's set to arrive in an hour” Jacob replied with his eyes fixed on the road. “Uh, Miss Burnett, you didn't tell me where we are going. Are we just going to roam around the city without directions?” He asked without raising his brows to look at her while he asked the question.
Bethany was upset by his chattering. She raised her brows and glared at him without saying a single word.
seeing this expression Jacob understood what she meant.
After a while second, Bethany spoke.
“ We still have an hour before the plane lands. Take me to the hotel, I need a change of clothes”.
“Hotel? Which of the hotels, Miss Burnett ?” Jacob wanted to force her to speak to him.
“Hilton hotel” She simply replied.
Hearing this response, Jacob didn't say anything else as he looked through the mirror and stepped on the gas in an instant.

It was a bright and sunny summer afternoon. An adorable little girl has just stepped out of the arrival area of the airport. She held the shirt of a young woman in the Orange city Airport.
“Mommy! Mommy, I'm starving ”.
Erica turned her head when she heard the. Her long, wavy hair fluttered as she turned around. A benevolent smile was plastered on her face. She quickly picked up the adorable little girl as she looked around as if she was waiting for someone.
“I'll bring you to eat something yummy, Jenna while we wait for someone”. She started walking toward a cafe after picking up the little.
On the other hand, a young woman had just entered the place, she was coming toward the KFC at the airport. An elegant and poise aura started following her as if it was her shadow coming right behind her.
On the way, she attracted a lot of praises and glances for her beauty and unique body shape.
As soon as Erica found a perfect place to stay, she brought the little girl over. They have been traveling on the plane for more than ten hours, so, naturally, the little girl felt hungry.
After they found a seat, Jenna began ordering.
“I want a burger and some orange juice first, godmother”.
“Alright, I'll go get it for you”. Erica agreed as she check around for a waiter.
“Thank you, mommy, you are so different from Miss Burnett. hmm, she didn't even come around to pick us up” Jenna pouted as she wrapped her arms around Erica's neck and kissed her loudly on the cheek.
Erica laughed gently revealing her dimples–She knew that Jenna was going to get angry about the fact that Bethany was not here to pick them up. However, Erica has decided to keep her presence a secret from the little girl as she wanted to give her a surprise.
She pinched the little girl's cheeks as she was overwhelmed by her cuteness.“ You have such a sweet tongue. Who has taught you all of this? did Miss Burnett teach you?”.
“Daddy did!”
The little girl blinked with a look of seriousness on her face.
Hearing this, the smile on the woman's face froze in shock, after she heard that but she did not say anything as she didn't want to dispute the little girl.
It was the evening and they were a lot of people at the KFC.
Erica took hold of the little girl's hand as they went ahead to place their orders at the counter. After ordering, they went back to their seat to have their meal.
A little while later, the little girl blinked her shiny eyes once again as she looked over at the toys.
“I want that as well!”.
She pointed at a toy that came with the kid's meal.
Erica looked in the direction that she was pointing at.
“Oh is that so? Just wait here, I'll go and get the husky for you in a little while” Erica replied as she stood up to go after the husky.
“Thank you, you're the best!«.
“Teasing again! eat your food, good girl”.
Erica went back to the counter to play e an order for the kid's meal that has the toy attached to it.
When she went back to her seat after getting the meal along with the toys, she noticed that the little girl was nowhere to be found–she was gone!.
Her expression changed instantly as she felt panic set in– Her mind which has not known nervousness for a long time was suddenly thrown into a state of confusion and fear. Her heart was beating very fast at this point.
what should I do? Bethany will kill me if anything happens to Jenna. where did Jenna go!?
she panicked as she looked around. She thought of giving Bethany a call to inform her about the whole thing. However, she quickly waved aside the thought.
Meanwhile, Bethany walked into the KFC, she was about to look for where Erica and Jenna were sitting when her eyes suddenly fell on the figure of a tall and slender man standing up from one of the tables with Jenna by their side.
“Thank you!” She heard Jenna thanking the man whose back was turned towards her.
Then, her expression changed when she saw the man. At that moment, Erica arrived and was about to inform Bethany, when she noticed that Bethany was glued to something. She look toward the scene as well, when she saw the man, the panicky expression on her face changed as her heart started beating normally again.
Bethany quickly took out her sunglasses from her bag and put them on as she was about to leave. When she was about to walk over, she noticed Danica wandering into her vision.
This devil of a woman killed her despite knowing that she was pregnant with a little life. she took her wealth and threw her under the bus to get scorned by the screening sound of a hitting vehicle.
Bethany didn't that she would run into Danica at the airport like this, not only that but Zayn is also here as well.
Indeed fate would always find a way to make the enemies cross paths.
Bethany's pupils constricted under the sunglasses.
“Danica Medina I didn't die like you had wished, so get ready because it means that your life is also going to get messy from now on”.

Erica ran back to go get her bags when she noticed that Bethany was keeping an eye on the little girl.

Bethany was in a disguise. But Jenna would still recognize her even if she was hiding amid thousands.
A sweet smile crept onto the little girl's face after a while. Then, she opened her mouth to call out to Bethany.
Seeing this action, Bethany quickly made a shushing gesture and the little girl understood immediately. She pursed her lips together.
Jenna has almost forgotten her side of the bargain.
On the other hand, Danica who saw Zayn holding a young child inside of the KFC was extremely displeased at this scene. However, she didn't dare to show her displeasure in front of Zayn as she put on a smile.
She pretended not to recognize Jenna as she asked in a pretentious tone with her eyes darting around. “Zayn, whose child is this? Why do you keep holding her like this? Come one, let's leave, Jordan is waiting for us outside” She said as she pulled Zayn by the hand.
She looked at Zayn with a smile on her face, then she crushed her face to glare at Jenna disdainfully who was wrapped in Zayn's arms.
Even though Erica was going to help her out with her designs, she won't tolerate her child stealing a spot away from her.
“You can leave with Jordan first, take the car along with you. I'm waiting for this little girl's parents” Zayn replied coldly.
Just then, his eyes fell on Jenna. For some unknown reason, he felt a connection to her each time he sets his eyes on her.
Zayn was upset after Bethany declined his offer to take her home earlier so he decided to go back home instead. Just then he got a call.
Danica finally got a chance to ask Zayn to pick them up from the airport using Jordan as an excuse. She even made the little boy lie that he was a bit sick. She did not think that she would be treated so coldly because of some random girl.
She could not express her anger, so she could only turn around while pressing her lips together tightly.
Danica was so focused on being angry that she did not pay attention to where she was going. When she walked past Bethany, she bumped into her shoulder.
Bethany took this opportunity to let go of the things in her hands.
The kid meal that Bethany got for Jenna on her way to the airport, fell to the floor and the chocolate ice cream overturned, splashing all over Danica!.
