“But what exactly do you want to say? Are you going to give up everything and go running after him like a little girl? I'm sure Joanna is trying to use you against him, and you are allowing her to do so at the expense of your future and career? “Mom, I'm just going to see things for myself, not like I'm going to give up on my dreams by simply going over to the company, right?”
“I don't want you running after him. Give him a space to breathe”.
“But mom, the little scam would.....”
“The lawyer will be here to discuss the details about the mortgage. Get ready and come down, before he arrives.”
“Mom, why have you called him over to the house? Are you courting trouble on purpose? Do you think that everyone else will be happy about this? No, mom, they will raise issues and ruin things for us. I can't take this risk. You should think of another location and have the meetings over there”.
“I haven't even thought of this. Matilda would be keeping an eye on our every moment like an angry spy. I would ask to have the meeting arranged at a cafe instead. Let me give the secretary a call first. You should get out of the water and get ready already” Samantha said as she turned around to make a call.
Danica clenched her fists as she recalled the smile on Bethany's face while she was having lunch with Zayn at the cafe.
She felt even more bitter at this scene.
“Danica get out!” Samantha yelled when she looked back and saw Danica sulking.
Danica feigned a smile and came out of the pool holding the railing of the swimming pool.
Soon the expressions on her face turned dark as she pursed her vibrating lips. She was so angry with both Zayn and Bethany that she couldn't control her lips from hyperventilating.
“I will let you eat your came and still have it this time. However, if you go against me next time, I would have you thrown where you belong. I can't believe, I have to deal with a disfigure ugly duck as well as a dirty piglet. I hate this!”.
