After he left, Bethany kept the name card in her bag and then went to look for Joanna to apply for a business trip.
She had thought that Joanna would make things difficult for her but unexpectedly her request was immediately approved by Joanna.
She did not think too much into it and took the approval to visit the Downey family cloth factory Due to the minuscule particles created by the clothing factory, it was built at a remote location
It was already midday when Bethany arrived.
After coming down from the car, she looked at the place and quickly dip her hand into her bag, and brought out her phone. She looked at the time and it was a bit almost time for her schedule, she heaved a sigh.
She exited the car and looked at the surroundings and proceeded to the guardhouse.
She said, "Good day, I'm a designer at the Blue Ridge Group. I'm here to pick up some materials. Where is your supervisor?”
“The supervisor is inspecting the production lines.” The security guard took her work identification card and then opened the gate.
Bethany thanked the security guard and took back her ID card. Thereafter, the guard brought her to the supervisor.
When the supervisor was told of the purpose of Bethany's visit, he was apologetic and said, "I'm sorry Ms. Quest. The cloth that you want is out of stock."
“What? Bethany was stunned and frowned, out of stock?"
"Yes." The supervisor smiled as he nodded.
Bethany pursed her lips and said, "Mister, remember that yesterday my colleague came for the materials but there was an issue with the cloth model. That was why he did not take it. So these materials should still be here. How come you said that there aren't any?”
"It was taken away by others. Other companies also wanted this material." The supervisor said.
Bethany was shocked and asked, "Who took it?"
"I'm sorry I can't tell you. We can't reveal the identity of our customers," The supervisor answered.
Bethany was upset when she heard this and said, "Mister, that's unacceptable. That material belonged to the Blue Ridge Group. What right do you have to give them to others?”
“I gave them!" A lady's voice sounded from the entrance of the factory.
Bethany looked over and saw a familiar figure walking over in high heels and remarked, "It's you?”
Helena walked over to the supervisor and ordered, "Leave us.”
"Yes." The supervisor nodded and left.
Helena turned towards Bethany. She took advantage of her height over Bethany and intentionally raised her chin and looked down arrogantly at Bethany, "I bet you didn't expect it to be me.”
Bethany rolled her eyes and said, "Indeed I did not. But why did you do that? Do you know what the consequences are?”
"What consequences could there be?" Helena pursed her lips and said with disdain, "All I know is you won't be able to answer to your boss for not getting the material."
On hearing this, Bethany suddenly realized what was happening and said, "So that's the reason why you gave the material to someone else. You did it to get me into trouble."
"That's right!" Helena laughed sinisterly and said, "You had Mr. Meyer's help during the banquet. Now I want to see who would help you. How dare you steal my necklace? I'll continue to create trouble for you and still create a fuss!"

"I don't believe you. How come my necklace was in your handbag if you did not steal it? Helena pointed toward Bethany's bag and insisted that she stole the necklace.
Bethany rubbed her forehead and began to feel frustrated. She then said, "Okay, let's set aside the issue of the necklace and focus on the issue at hand. Who told you that I would come for the material”
“Why should I tell you that? Helena snapped back. Bethany was not bothered, continued to stare at her, and asked, "It's Joanna, right?”
Helena's expression changed.
Bethany clenched her fists, "I knew it..."
Only those in the purchasing department and Joanna knew about her business trip. So Joanna wanted her to go to the factory before creating trouble for her.
"So, it was Joanna who made Ms. Downey give the material to another company," Bethany said coldly.
Helena was startled and asked, "How did you know?”
Bethany looked at her and remarked to herself
how dumb and vile this woman was. Who could not figure it out?
“You don't have to worry about how I know the...way, you'd better consider how you'd be punished for doing this. I do not wish to waste time bickering with you.”
After saying these, Bethany took out her cellphone and called Mr. Downey.
On seeing what she was doing, Helena then realized that Bethany knew her grandfather. She grabbed Bethany's phone, threw it onto the ground, and smashed it into pieces.
Bethany was furious when she saw her smashed phone and yelled, "You….”
"Don't you dare tell my grandfather about this” Helena said
Bethany took a deep breath suppressed her fury and said, "Ms. Downey, do you think that you could settle this matter just by smashing my phone? If I can't get the material, the reason would still be traced back to you. The material belongs to the Blue Ridge Group. Even if you are Ms. Downey and have Mr. Downey's support, You won't get away unscathed.”
This was Joanna's actual motive to kill two birds with one stone.

The supervisor ran anxiously over and answered, "Yes, Ms. Downey."
"Quickly, get her material back!" Helena pointed at Bethany and ordered the supervisor.
"What? Get it back?" The supervisor thought that he was mistaken.
Helena nodded, “What are you waiting for?”
"But Ms. Downey, the material had been taken by them for so long. I'm sure they had already used it. How will I get it back?" The supervisor said
Helena stomped her feet and demanded, "I don't care. You'd better get it back. Otherwise, I'll demote you and deduct your salary."
"This... The supervisor had no choice but to go and attempt to find it.
Helena let out a sigh and looked at Bethany, "Hey, I've got someone to get the material back. You'd better keep this matter to yourself and not let anyone know, especially Mr. Meyer. Do you understand?”
Bethany did not bother with her and picked up the pieces of her phone.
The phone contained many photos which were taken by her. She wondered if she could recover those photos.
Helena was not bothered when Bethany did not answer. She flicked her hair and scoffed, "Your silence means that you've agreed. If I ever find out that you mention what happened today, I'll not let you off easily! Hmph!"
After threatening Bethany, she picked up her branded bag and sashayed away.
Bethany pursed her lips as she saw Helena leave. She had wanted to give Helena a chance on the account of Downey. However, her arrogance and bullying ways would be repeated if she was not taught a lesson.
After pondering for a moment, Bethany narrowed her eyes and looked for the supervisor.
She said directly, "You don't need to look for the material."
The supervisor was stunned and asked, "Ms. Quest, what do you mean?”
"I mean that I don't want it anymore!" Bethany calmly said.
"You don't want it?" The supervisor was puzzled and panicked, "Ms. Quest, I've already sent someone out to retrieve it. Why don't you want it?"
"You asked me why?" Bethany scoffed, "That was supposed to be for Blue ridge Group's next season collection, You all gave it to another Company without seeking Blue Ridge Group's agreement. That meant that you all did not respect the Blue Ridge company.”
“No, that's not it. We only did as we were ordered by Ms. Downey, so...”
"Enough!” Bethany waved her hand and interrupted him, "Mr. Ramos, you don't have to explain these to me. Your actions had disrespected the Blue Ridge company,"
After saying these, Bethany picked up her bag and left.
She did this to protect the honor of the Blue ridge company and to teach Helena a lesson for Mr. Downey.
With Zayn's character, he would contract with the Downey family once he found out about this incident.
Helena would not be spared for causing the termination of the business between the Downey and Meyer families.
Hopefully, this would teach Helena a long-lasting lesson and not cause trouble for Bethany again.
Although Bethany was not intimidated by Helena, she just did not want to be bothered unnecessarily.
It was already three o'clock in the afternoon when she returned to the Blue ridge company.
She went directly to the president's office on the top floor. She reported everything that happened today to Zayn.
However, she did not mention her suspicion regarding Joanna's involvement as she did not have sufficient proof that Joanna instigated Helena to do it.

"So Mr. Meyer, are we going to change the cloth material supplier?” Bethany looked at Zayn who was deep in thought.
