Chapter 117: Leonardo's Moment of Weakness.

Leonardo’s POV

“Bartender, I need your strongest drink.” I ordered as I sat down at the bar.
The bartender gave me a quick glance before nodding and reaching for a bottle of whiskey.
“Tough night?” he asked, pouring the amber liquid into a glass.
I let out a dry chuckle. “You have no idea.”
I grabbed the glass and downed it in one go, relishing the burn as it slid down my throat.
Maybe if I drank enough, I could drown out the image of Aurora and Alessandro together.
Maybe I could forget the way she looked at him, the way she used to look at me.
The bartender refilled my glass, but before I could take another sip, a voice spoke from behind me.
“Drinking away your problems won’t fix them.”
I clenched my jaw and turned to see a female beta sliding onto the stool beside me.
“Mind if I join you?” she asked, her voice inviting.
I noticed what she was wearing. She was dressed to seduce any man she sees and I guess I was her target tonight.
I raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite myself. "Not at all.
The beta smiled, her eyes locking onto mine. "I'm Mila," she said, extending her hand.
I took it, feeling a jolt of electricity as our palms touched. "Leonardo."
Mila’s eyes sparkled as she withdrew her hand. “I know. You are Alpha John’s son.
Wait a minute you were the one who was suppose to marry Miss Lena, Alpha Maverick’s daughter but things went south when she tried to kill the woman you love.”
Mila's eyes sparkled as she withdrew her hand. "What brings you here tonight, Leonardo?
You look like you're trying to drown your sorrows."
I raised my glass, taking a sip. "Just trying to forget."
Mila's eyes narrowed, her Face sympathetic. "Forget what?"
I hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. But there was something about Mila that put me at ease.
"The crushing pain in my heart," I admitted, my voice low.
Mila's eyes softened, and she reached out, placing a gentle hand on my arm.
"I'm sorry, Leonardo. That sounds incredibly painful."

I nodded, feeling a lump form in my throat. "It is."

Mila leaned in, her voice taking on a sultry tone. "Alcohol can help numb the pain, but I think I know something that might help even more."

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What's that?"

Mila's eyes sparkled as she leaned in closer, her breath whispering against my ear. "Sex."

My heart skipped a beat when I felt a strong attraction. Mila’s words excited me.

I turned to her and looked into her eyes.

"Do you think sex can make me forget my broken heart?" Mila smiled, and her eyes sparkled.

"Maybe not forget, but it can definitely distract you." I was curious about her idea.

As I looked at Mila, I felt drawn to her. But I just couldn’t. Even though Aurora had told me we should end things, I still had hope that we could still come back together.

Our bond was strong….she can’t just throw that away. Can she?

Mila's smile faded, and she looked at me curiously. "You're still thinking about her, right?" she asked softly.

I nodded, feeling guilty. "I'm sorry, Mila. I didn't mean to give you the wrong idea."

Mila's face showed understanding. "You're not giving me the wrong idea, Leonardo.

I knew you were hurting when I came over. I thought maybe we could help each other forget our problems."

I looked at her, admiring her honesty.

"You're an amazing woman, Mila."

Mila smiled again and leaned in closer. "And you're a handsome and charming man, Leonardo.

Maybe we can still... take our minds off things tonight."

My heart skipped a beat as I thought about her offer. Part of me wanted to take her up on it and forget about Aurora for a while. But another part of me was unsure if I was ready to move on…
Suddenly she moved closer, inching her way towards me until she was sitting right next to me. My heart raced but I just sat there and watched things unfold.

She reached my hand, her fingers shaking as she placed it on my hand gently on my back.

My insides fluttering wildly at the mere feel of the touch. I haven’t had sex in a while and I guess my wolf was desiring it. But why was I already giving in to someone else when Aurora just broke up with me?

Mila's hand on my back sent shock waves down my spine. I felt a spark of attraction, but my mind was still stuck on Aurora.

Why was I letting another woman touch me when my heart still belonged to someone else?

I looked at Mila, her eyes locked on mine, filled with a desire that made my wolf howl.

But I couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt. Was I really ready to move on?

Mila's hand moved up my back, her fingers tracing the muscles of my shoulders.

I felt my body respond, my senses coming alive. But my heart was still heavy, weighed down by the memory of Aurora's rejection.

"Mila, I..." I started, unsure of what to say.

But before I could finish, Mila leaned in, her lips brushing against mine.

The touch sent a jolt of electricity through my body, and for a moment, I forgot about everything else…

Mila's lips were soft and inviting, and I felt myself getting lost in the kiss.

But as soon as I realized what was happening, I pulled back, feeling guilty.

"Mila, I'm sorry," I said, trying to catch my breath.

"I didn't mean to... I'm not ready for this."

Mila looked me in the eyes. “Are you sure you are not ready for this?”

I hesitated, feeling a flutter in my chest. Mila's eyes seemed to bore into mine, searching for the truth.

"You see, Leonardo... I just can't help myself," she said, her voice low and seductive.

"I've wanted you for a long time. You're so hot."
