Epilogue

The Luna’s Coronation Celebration

Alessandro’s POV

The music of celebration echoed through the grand hall of Shadow Pack.

Laughter, the clinking of glasses, and the scent of roasted meat and sweet wine filled the air.

It felt surreal the wedding, the coronation, the woman who now stood proudly beside me.

Aurora.

My wife.

My Luna.

She looked radiant dressed now in a deep blue gown with silver embroidery that shimmered like moonlight against her skin.

Her crown rested gracefully atop her soft curls, the emblem of our pack gleaming at its center.

“Alpha Alessandro and Luna Aurora!” the announcer called, and the room erupted in cheers.

Aurora blushed, gripping my hand.

“They’re all staring,” she whispered.

I leaned close, my lips brushing her ear.

“Let them. They’re just realizing how lucky their Alpha is.”

She laughed softly, her fingers tightening around mine.

“You’ve gotten better at saying sweet things lately.”

“Marriage does that to a man,” I teased.

“Especially when his wife can bite harder than he does.”

That earned me a playful glare and another laugh from the crowd, who clearly saw our whispered exchange.

As the music shifted to a softer tune, Rafael and Gabriel appeared at my side, both grinning like mischievous pups.

“Careful, brother,” Gabriel said.

“You’ll have to set an example now. No more brooding walks at midnight or breaking training equipment when you’re angry.”

Rafael clinked his glass against mine.

“Yes, Luna’s rule now. We’ll call it... the age of softness.”

I groaned. “You two really can’t go a single day without taunting me, can you?”

Rafael smirked.

“Not when you finally look happy for once.”

Gabriel leaned forward, his grin softening.

“Truly, Alessandro. You deserve this.”

Before I could respond, the music shifted again the start of the first dance.

Aurora looked up at me.

“I suppose this is our cue?”

I offered her my hand.

“It’s always been you, Aurora.”

The crowd parted as we stepped onto the floor. The lights dimmed, leaving only the glow of moonlight pouring through the glass ceiling.

Her hand fit perfectly in mine, her heartbeat steady against my chest as the first notes of our song began.

“You’re shaking,” I murmured.

“I’m not,” she whispered.

“You are.”

She was right. For once, the fearless Alpha felt nervous not from battle, not from duty, but from pure love.

“I can’t believe this is real,” I said quietly.

Aurora looked up at me, her voice soft but steady.

“It is. And if it’s a dream… I never want to wake up.”

The song ended with the crowd applauding, wolves howling in celebration, and the pack members stomping their feet in unison a Shadow Pack’s tradition that signaled acceptance of a new Luna.

I kissed her hand, bowing slightly.

“Luna Aurora of Silver Crest,” I said proudly.

She smiled through tears.

“And Alpha Alessandro of my heart.”

The pack roared louder.

Rafael yelled from the crowd, “All right, lovebirds! Let the rest of us dance too before this turns into a romance drama!”

Aurora laughed, wiping her eyes. “I think he’s jealous.”

“I think he’s drunk,” I muttered, pulling her close again.

Later that night, as the celebration carried on and laughter echoed from the courtyard, Aurora stepped out for some air.

The night was calm, the moon high above, blessing the pack.

She found Gabriel by the wine table and asked.

“Have you seen Leonardo?”

Gabriel’s smile faded slightly.

“He left.”

Aurora blinked.

“Left?

What do you mean?”

“He said he needed time. Didn’t want to ruin your day by saying goodbye in person.”

Her chest tightened.

“He didn’t even stay for the ceremony?”

Gabriel shook his head.

“He watched from afar. You know Leo pride first, peace later.”

Aurora looked down, whispering, “I wanted to thank him… for saving me, for everything.”

I approached then, catching the tail end of their conversation.

“He’ll come around,” I said gently, placing my hand on her back.

“He always does.”

She turned toward me, her eyes glistening under the moonlight.

“Do you really think so?”

I nodded.

“He’s my brother.

Our bond’s been through worse.

He just needs to find himself again.”

She rested her head on my shoulder.

“Then let’s hope the moon watches over him tonight.”

I looked up at the glowing orb in the sky the same moon that had witnessed every battle, every heartbreak, every promise between us.

And as the howls of celebration echoed once more, I whispered,

“She already is.”

Aurora was still leaning against me, her soft hair brushing my chin as we stood in the courtyard.

The night was quiet except for the faint laughter and music drifting from the hall.

“I just hope Leonardo finds peace,” she murmured.

“He deserves to be happy too.”

I nodded. “He will.

Maybe not tonight, but soon.”

Just then, a familiar voice cut through the stillness.

“Well, well, what do we have here?

The Alpha and Luna having a secret moonlight talk without their favorite brother?”

Aurora and I turned to see Rafael swaggering toward us, an easy grin on his face and his arm casually draped around the shoulders of a young female Beta from the pack a slender brunette with bright green eyes who blushed furiously as Rafael leaned in to whisper something in her ear.

“Rafael,” I said dryly.

“Don’t tell me you’ve already found your company for the night.”

Gabriel followed close behind, smirking.

“Correction, found his victim for the night.”

Rafael chuckled, giving his younger brother a playful shove.

“Don’t sound so jealous, Gabriel. I’m just helping our new Beta settle into the pack.”

Aurora tried to hide her laughter but failed.

“Helping her, huh?” she teased.

“Does your version of help usually involve holding hands and whispering sweet nonsense under the moon?”

Rafael placed his hand over his heart.

“I’ll have you know, my methods are highly effective. She’s learning very fast.”

Gabriel groaned. “Learning what?

How to survive your ego?”

Even I couldn’t help the smirk tugging at my lips.

“Rafael, will you ever change?”

He shrugged, completely unbothered.

“Change is for people who are bored with themselves. I’m perfectly happy the way I am.”

“Of course you are,” Aurora said, crossing her arms.

“How long has it been since the last one?”

Rafael raised an eyebrow.

“The last what?”

“Last ‘student’ you were helping adjust,” she said with a grin.

Gabriel burst out laughing, almost choking on his drink.

“Oh, please, Luna, don’t start listing them. We’d be here till sunrise.”

Rafael shot him a look, but his eyes were still amused.

“You’re just upset none of them ever looked your way, little brother.”

Gabriel feigned offense.

“I don’t pick women who change their minds every moon cycle.”

“Exactly my point,” Rafael said proudly.

“I don’t want anyone permanent. I like change. Keeps life exciting.”

The young Beta looked completely flustered by their exchange, her eyes darting between them all.

Rafael noticed and leaned close to her.

“Sweetheart, why don’t you go enjoy the party? I’ll find you later.”

She nodded quickly. “Yes, Alpha Rafael.”

When she was gone, the three of us turned to him at once.

Aurora folded her arms.

“You know, for someone who acts like a carefree rogue, you sure know how to charm with authority.”

Gabriel snorted.

“Charm, he says. I call it chaos in motion.”

I shook my head, chuckling.

“Will you ever change, Rafael? Maybe find one woman to actually love instead of chasing a dozen?”

He gave a mock gasp.

“Love?

Alessandro, you wound me!

Do I look like a man made for domestic bliss?”

Aurora raised a brow.

“Even the moon goddess would shake her head at you.”

Rafael leaned against the stone pillar, his grin deepening.

“Let her. Because no female beta can tame me. Even the moon goddess herself couldn’t tame me.”

Gabriel crossed his arms, smirking.

“You say that now. But mark my words, one day, someone will drag you by the collar and make you eat those words.”

Rafael laughed.

“Ha!

Dream on, brothers. I’m meant to live a free life, wild, untamed, and not bound to any single mate.”

Aurora exchanged a knowing look with me.

“We’ll see about that,” she said softly.

“Careful, Luna,” Rafael said with a grin.

“You’re starting to sound like fate herself.”

I clapped a hand on his shoulder.

“Then may fate hear her and make a fool of you someday.”

He laughed again, brushing off my hand.

“If that day comes, I’ll personally let you both say, ‘We told you so’.

But until then…”

He stretched his arms with a lazy smile.

“I’m going to have a very hot night.”

Gabriel groaned loudly.

“Ugh, please spare us the details.”

Aurora chuckled as Rafael winked and walked back toward the hall, already scanning the room for his next round of trouble.

I watched him go, shaking my head with a sigh.

“He’ll never change.”

Gabriel smirked faintly.

“He says that now. But when the moon decides to teach him a lesson, I’m bringing popcorn.”

Aurora smiled softly. “Maybe even the untamable can be tamed when the right soul finds them.”

I glanced at her, my chest tightening with affection.

“You’d know, Luna. You tamed me, after all.”

She grinned, looping her arm through mine.

“You were never wild, Alessandro. You were just waiting for someone to call you home.”

And as we turned back toward the glow of the ballroom, I couldn’t help thinking… maybe someday, even Rafael would find his home too.
