LUNA POV

I can't believe what I am seeing right now. Ellie my best friend at my side. I turned to look at her. My eyes were watery. If this is only a dream, I don't want to wake up anymore.

I stood up to touch her face. I want to make sure that she was real.

"Luna, I'm so happy to see you again," she whispered.

I hugged her. She is here finally. She found me.

"Elli, I can't believe you are here." I let go of the hug to look at her attire.

"You are wearing the attendant's uniform. What is this all about?"

She placed her finger in my mouth.

"Keep quiet Luna. No one should know I am here," she told me.

"Wait, why? What is happening Elli?" I am really confused right now.

"Listen to me, Luna. You need to trust me. I know that people in this mansion were werewolves." she revealed.

"Alright, then why are you hiding from them?" I reached her hand to pull her closer to me.

"We need to get out of here now" she tried to convince me.

"Wait Ellie, you need to tell me what happens to you. I thought someone kidnapped you." I said in a low tone.

"I will tell you everything later. Don't worry Luna. I am safe. I am here to help you," she was looking at me and then to the door.

"But I am safe here Ellie. I will marry Hector today."

"Luna, please listen to me. This is about your father. He was alive. He needs to talk to you right now. “She declared.

I was speechless at the moment. My father was alive and he wants to see me.

"How did you know," I asked my best friend.

"Just trust me. You will know everything later. Anyway, Hector can wait. Your wedding will be in two hours. We will make it quick." she pulled my hand but I stopped.

"Luna, hurry. This is not the time to think. You need to talk to your father. He has something to tell you. Let's go," she pulled my hand again.

This time I followed her out of my room. I heard a commotion on the other side of the mansion so Ellie led me to the other way. Away from the noise and commotion.

I need to trust my best friend. I need to talk to my father first. This is something important. I will make sure to come back before the wedding.

We hurriedly passed the gardens and made our way to the trees.

"Wait Ellie, are we going to the woods. I don't want to go far from the mansion."

"Luna, this is still the protected land of your mate's pack. Don't worry. This will be quick." she told me.

I looked back. I can still see the mansion from the distance.

"Alright, Ellie. Let's move quickly." I said as I tried to fix myself. I am having difficulty walking with this long gown.

"Ellie, it seems you know a lot about werewolves. Do you dare tell me how you knew about all of these?" I asked.

I was panting now. I feel tired walking in the woods with my shoes and gown.

"I will explain when you meet him," she replied.

"How did you know about my father?"

"Just keep on walking and stop asking questions!" she yelled.

I was so shocked by her behavior. She's not like this before.

"Ellie, what the? Are you angry?" I shouted back.

"Stop this nonsense Luna, just follow me. Hurry," she continued.

I just rolled my eyes and followed her path.

I heard a tearing sound and my gown was finally ruined. I took a deep breath.

This is not good. We walked for a few minutes until we reached the middle of the woods. No one is here. The place was so quiet. All I can hear was my heartbeat.

"Ellie where are we?" I turned to look at her. She was panting too. I know she hates walking in the woods.

"We are here Luna. Time to meet someone, again," she said.

Again? I was a little confused by her words.

Her face seems different. It is like I am looking at a different person. She is not the best friend Ellie I had for years.

What happened to her?

"Ellie, wha...what happened to... to you?" I stuttered while asking her.

He just stared at me angrily. She was really different.

I heard a growling sound near us. The bushes moved and I turned to look in that direction.

I was out of breath as I saw a huge black wolf emerge and it was walking towards us.

I moved backward as the wolf moved closer. I recognized the wolf. It was Lucas. Lucas is here.

I felt scared to see his wolf. I am in danger.

"Ellie, we need to run," I told her. But I was shocked to see her just standing looking at the wolf. She's clearly not surprised to see the wolf. He placed his hands on my shoulder.

"Don't worry Luna. He will not hurt you. He is here to get you," she smirked.

I can't believe it. My best friend just betrayed me.

"Ellie, you told me, my father wants to talk to me. What are you doing?" I yelled at her.

"I am just doing what was I've been told to do Luna," she revealed.

"So you are working for Lucas? Why Ellie? He is a bad person. He tried to hurt me. He is a monster!"

"Shut up. Don't say that to him, Luna. I love Lucas. I love him so much. That I will do everything just to make him happy," her voice cracked and tears fell from her eyes.

"You love this man? Really? How and when did you meet this monster?" I can't believe it. My best friend is in love with this devil.

I heard a cracking sound. Lucas shift back to his human form and was staring at me.

"Stop this argument girls. Great job, Ellie. You were able to bring her to me. I assure you will have a reward for this," Lucas spoke.

"You demon. How could you use my best friend for your bullshit?" I really hate to see his face. He has handsome but I see him as an ugly monster.

"Just give me your love Lucas and I will be the happiest girl," Ellie replied.

I was stunned by her words. So she is really crazy in love with Lucas.

"You wait, Ellie. I've prepared a reward for you. But now, let me have Luna first. I need to have her and her precious blood,"
