Chapter 49

LUNA POV

I felt so weak and my whole body went limp. Lucas injected something into my body a while ago so I can't fight him back. I lay helpless on the bed while he chained my right foot. He extracted blood from my body and directly transferred it to his body with the help of two medical personnel. The last time I gave my blood was when I was 19-years old. I participated in a blood donation activity. But this, this isn't a blood donation since he forced me to give my blood to him. He is a demon and a monster. I hate him so much.

I was left inside the room. I can hardly move my body. The door burst open and Ellie came in. I looked at her. She was looking seriously.

"Ellie, why?" I asked her. I am still confused. I can't believe that she's working with the bad alpha.

"I love him, Luna. I will do everything just to make him happy," she said.

"I thought you'd been kidnapped. I searched for you Ellie," I felt tears slowly form in my eyes.

"It was supposed to be a trap, Luna. Lucas planned that. You will surely search for me. That's the time Lucas can get you. But Hector came and he ruined the plan," her expression changed.

"I'm your best friend Ellie. How could you betray me?" I sobbed. It hurts me a lot. I treated her as my sister.

"I met Lucas when I was 18 years old. The night I went to the bar. I fell in love with him. We hooked up many times. I tried to sleep with other men just to forget about him but I can't. I found myself longing for his touch. I knew months after I met him that he was a werewolf. He told me not to tell anyone and I obeyed him." she can't look at me straight in the eye. I wonder if that Ellie I knew for years is still there in her.

"Did he tell you about my blood?" I was waiting for her answer. She was hesitant to tell more.

"It was two months ago when he told me. I was so shocked. He told me about his plan and threatened to leave me if I will not follow what he wants." she revealed.

"I can see that you love him so much. You betrayed me, your best friend, for that man," my voice cracked.

"I'm sorry Luna. I love him so much. I love him more than my life," I saw tears in her eyes.

She turned around and left me in the room. I started to cry hard. I can't believe my best friend just betrayed me for that man. If not because of Hector that day, maybe Lucas was able to have me.

I tried to compose myself. I moved my body, but still, I can't do it.

I can only move my hands but not the other part of my body. I need to think about how to escape from here. I know Hector will find me. My mate will come for me soon.

The door opened again. I was expecting Ellie to come back but it was Lucas this time. He was staring with a smirk on his face. If only I can punch his face, I will surely do it. I hate him so much.

"How are you Love?" he playfully asked.

"You bastard. Hector will come for me. He will kill you. You just wait." He just burst into laughter.

He moved closer to me. I felt scared of his presence.

He started to draw circles on my legs to my thigh. I can't move to protest.

"What are you doing, don't touch me!" I yelled.

"I want you to be mine, Luna. Marry me and I will not let you suffer. I will give you a good life. A life that Hector could never give you"

"Shut up! I will never be your Lucas. Never!" I shouted.

His hands reached for my face and it hurts as he tightened his grip.

"You are lucky I have the heart not to kill you. Don't try me, Luna. You're in my territory, I can kill you anytime I want. If I were you, just surrender yourself to me and everything would be fine. Look at your best friend, she gave his soul and body to me. She's my toy. Why don't you join her." he said.

"Stay away from me. You monster!"

His eyes looked furious as he went closer to me and kissed me. I tried to avoid his kiss but I can't. He was too strong and I'm weak.

I felt his hands on my thighs aiming for what was in between me.

I tried to gasp for air and cried for help.

He almost ruined my dress when the door opened again.

Ellie came in to stop Lucas.

"What are you doing Lucas? I thought you only need her blood not her body!" she said.

Lucas turned to look at her at slapped her in the face.

"What are you doing here? Who are you to stop me!" he was angry.

"Lucas, you only need to love me. Only me. You should only need me not any other woman. You promised me! You promised me Lucas!" she cried.

"You little toy of mine. Stop your bullshit. I don't love you. I only need you for my desires. Don't expect I will love you. Get out and stay away from me!" he said.

Ellie knelt in front of him, crying and begging. I was left shocked.

"Please Lucas, love me" she begged.

"You're crazy. I don't need you anymore. I'm done with you Ellie," he declared.

Lucas stepped closer to her and pulled her hair. Ellie tried to stop him but Lucas' hands find their way into her face. He slapped her face one more time and punched her in the stomach.

Ellie fell to the floor unconscious. I felt worried and I pity her. I can't even stand to help and defend her.

Lucas kicked her and I heard her agony. Lucas then again reached for her hair and told her,

"I think it's time for me to erase you from this world and put your soul to rest"
