Chapter 50

LUNA POV

I've been in this room for hours. Finally, I was able to move my body. I felt weak but I think I can handle it now.

I'm worried about my best friend. I saw how Lucas dragged her out of the room while he was hurting her. Elli fell in love with the wrong man. I need to save her.

I heard footsteps coming. I immediately returned to the bed to pretend I'm still limp. Two attendants came in to check on me.

"How are you feeling madam?" one of the attendants asked.

"I can't move my body. I felt so weak." I need to do this. This is my way to get out of here and look for my best friend.

"We will get some food for you to eat, we will be back," they went out of the room and I went up again.

I approached the door to check, bingo! They left it open. This is my time to go out.

I hurriedly walked down the corridor. I tried not to make any noise. I heard three attendants coming my way. I hid in a corner.

"The alpha said, we should not give any water or food to the prisoner down there. We need to starve her," one attendant spoke.

I think they are talking about Elli. I'm sure of that.

The moment they disappeared, I went in the direction where they came from.

I tried to move faster, though my body is not yet in good condition.

My heart hammers with fear. But I need to keep this fear aside just to save Elli.

I walked a little more until I found a door.

I opened it and there's a stair leading down. I swallowed hard. The light was dim but I can still manage to see.

I walked down the stairs hoping it would lead me to my best friend.

It was very quiet down here, all I can hear was my heartbeat and my breathing.

 I saw some prison cells. I can't see anyone down here.

I scanned the prison cells until I reached one. Someone was laying inside.

"Elli?" I tried to call her name.

She moved and looked up at me. It was her.

"Elli, are you Ok?" I was worried looking at her condition. I sat down as I tightened my grip on the bars of the cell.

I can see that her body was bruised. There was blood on her mouth and all over her face. I can't stand to see her like this. I started to cry when she spoke.

"Stop crying Luna. Your tears can't save me hear,"

"Elli, he doesn't love you. He is just using you," I told her.

"I don't care Luna. I love him so much," she sobbed.

"We need to get out of here, I will help you escape," I whispered.

"We can't escape from Lucas. He is powerful. We will be dead the moment we went out of here," she said.

"No Elli, I will help you. I will think of ways how to get you out of here," I assured.

She didn't reply. I can see she's in pain.

I went up again as carefully as I can. The attendants were not here yet.

I returned to my room. I went back to my bed and cover myself with the blanket.

Just in time as the attendants came back with food.

They helped me eat and changed my ruined dress. I can see that they are helping me to move my arms and feet. One of the attendants said that my body can slowly move after the effect of the medicine.

The moment they left, I tried to make myself comfortable in bed. I need to think of a plan on how to get the trust of the people in this place, especially Lucas. When I gain his trust that is the moment I can save Elli.

I hope Hector can find me soon. This house is different from the mansion where Lucas brought me the other time.

The door suddenly opened and I almost jumped out of my skin. Lucas came in. His eyes glisten with a flare of desire. His hair was messy.

He went closer to me and I could smell the alcohol in him. He was drunk.

I remained calm as I gave him an angry stare.

"What are you doing here?" I sarcastically asked.

"I want you, Luna. Why don't you try to love me? I will make you a queen," he said.

He looks desperate begging for my love.

An idea popped into my mind. He really wanted me. My eyebrow furrowed.

I can use this to get his trust. Maybe I can pretend that I love him so he will trust me and I can escape from here. Elli needs me. I need to do everything just to save her.

"Really, Lucas? You promise to love me and give me everything I want?"

"Yes, Luna. Just be mine. I will do everything just to make you happy," he sighed.

I nodded and I saw happiness in his eyes. He cupped my face and pressed his lips into mine.

I hate the taste of his lips but I need to act like I also wanted him.

I moved my body closer to him. Forgive me, Hector, I need to do this to save my best friend. She betrayed me but I don't care. She is still my best friend blinded by her love for this monster alpha.

I felt Lucas' hands shift on my hips as his tongue went deeper inside my mouth. I welcomed his kisses and closed my eyes.

He was enjoying the kiss and I felt disgusting.

His lips left my lips as they went down to my neck. His kisses were very hungry. I can feel his teeth devouring every inch of my skin.

Her hands explored my hips to my back to pull me closer to him. I can smell both the beer and his perfume. His left hand went inside my shirt and cupped my breast. I want to pull myself away from him but I need to pretend in front of him.

His kisses moved down to my chest. He stopped to look at me. I swallowed hard. I can't do this. But I need to think of a reason so that I will not create doubts in him.

He took off his shirt. Alright, his body was really good but I'm not attracted.

He took off my shirt and exposed my bra. He kissed me again as I felt his hands on my legs crawling up to my thighs.

I continue to kiss him back allowing him to have full access to my mouth.

As I kiss him, I can see Hector's face in my mind. I love my mate and I missed him so much.

Lucas tore my pants and I was left shocked. He was really determined to have me tonight.

He went back to my breast and tore my bra. My naked chest was now exposed to him.

His mouth went to my breast, enjoying and licking it.

I tightened my grip on the sheets to control my emotion.

"Luna, be mine. Be mine forever," he whispered
