Epilogue
LUNA POV
I heard noises from downstairs. I feel sleepy at this time. I squint my eyes, the sunlight from my window was blinding me.
I pulled my body to get up when the door burst open and Sam came in.
He was panting and full of sweat.
"Mom, please come with me. It's about Ara and Aya," Sam told me.
"What about them?" Sam was my firstborn. He was nine years old now. Just like his father, he was a responsible man. He has pure alpha blood, I know he will be a good alpha of our pack in the future.
We both ran downstairs to find my twin girls fighting each other. We pulled them apart. They are like this every day, there could be no moment that they are not fighting. This is a big challenge for me and Hector. It was a headache how to control our twins. Aya was crying now, and Aya just stood in front of us while her arms crossed. She was staring at us with an angry look.
"Girls, what happened?" I looked at both of them.
"Aya touched my teddy bear, mommy. You know that this is only mine. No one can touch this except me," Ara explained.
Aya sobbed. She was like this all the time. She's vulnerable and emotional. Simple things can make her cry.
"So-sorry Ara. I will not get it anyway, I just want to touch it to see if it's as soft as my teddy," she said.
"Alright, stop this nonsense. You are sisters, you need to take good care of each other. Stop fighting!" Aya kept crying but Ara was still angry.
The front door opened and Hector finally arrived.
Both girls run going to their father. Ara started to cry too.
Hector turned to look at me.
"What happened to my girls?" Both of them are daddy's girls. I want to impose rules on these two girls but here comes Hector always to the rescue.
Sam interrupted and explained to his dad.
"They were fighting earlier just because of that pink teddy bear dad. Aya touched Ara's teddy bear and Ara didn't like it. Ara was so selfish." My son was honest all the time.
"I'm not selfish. That's not her teddy bear. That's mine. She shouldn't touch it." Ara yelled.
"Stop this! You are sisters. You need to share and help one another." Hector spoke.
I just remained in my place. I will let Hector handle the girls.
He led them to the couch for them to sit. My husband took a deep breath.
He has been very busy the past few days. He went to Portland to check the academy for werewolves. He wants to help Ridge manage the academy and to produce werewolf fighters of this generation.
Hector went out to get something from his car. It was a picture.
He went closer to kiss my lips and gave me the small frame.
"What is this?" I destroyed the wrap to see what was inside.
"Your dad sent that. That was his advance gift for your birthday next month,"
My dad always surprises me with gifts. It was my mini-portray. It was beautiful.
There's a name on the lower part that says "Luna Cassandra"
Mom Anne and Dad Peter raised me and called me "Luna". My daddy Enrico told me, that my real name was Luna Cassandra. It was my real mom, Ysabelle who gave me the name Cassandra.
From there, I used the name Luna Cassandra of the Blazing Guardian Pack. That was what everyone calls me.
Every pack has its Queen called Luna. Their names derived from my name after that pack war many years ago.
I was looking at the small portrait when I heard Aya shouting.
"Mom!"
I and Hector moved quickly to find them. They were in the kitchen and there was blood everywhere. They went to the kitchen while we are busy.
I am almost faint to see both my girls sustained wounds on their hands.
"What happens?" Hector lost his patience. He was angry now.
"Dad, I caught them playing with the knife. Now they are both hurt," Sam revealed.
There was little blood on the floor. I and Hector tried to clean their wounds.
These girls are a real headache to us.
"Mom, look!" Sam pointed to our pet cat.
The cat licked Ara's blood on the floor and in an instant, it fell lifeless.
We were shocked that even Hector didn't say a word for a few seconds.
Aya cried a lot because the cat was her favorite. She run to the cat and carried it into her arms.
She wiped the cat's face using her blood. Hector took the girls and carried both of them in his strong arms.
The lifeless cat's face was now filled with Aya's blood. The wound on their hands was deep. They were not yet werewolves so it won't heal.
Hector brought them upstairs to clean their wounds using the medicine.
I called our helper to clean the mess. I was about to leave the kitchen when I heard the cat.
"Meoww"
I looked at it again and was surprised to see the cat moving. It's impossible.
It was dead a while ago.
Ara's blood just killed the poor cat but Aya's blood healed the cat and it's alive again.
This couldn't be. I think their blood was special too.
Ara's blood could be a poison and Aya's could heal.
