Chapter 72

HECTOR POV

No words can explain the happiness I felt today to see my mate again. She was as beautiful as before. I was furious earlier, I even want to hurt Enrico when I knew that Luna was with them. He said, they saved her and gave her shelter. She revealed the power of her blood and volunteered to provide some of her blood to form the vaccine.

I don't want to listen to their explanation, I just want to see her and hug her again. I want her in my arms again.

I rushed to her tent, and there I saw her angelic face once again. She was stunned to see me. I know she didn't expect to see me.

We enjoyed the moment when Stefan came and informed us about the enemies. As expected, they will betray us. They will not follow what was agreed. We expected this attack, which is why, two days ago, we placed traps around the camp to include some bombs.

I am running towards them, I heard the explosion of bombs and a large number of howls. Lucas was able to recruit hundreds of rogues from different parts of the world. Plus his armies, I think it would be difficult for us to defeat them.

I need to stay positive, we may be outnumbered, but we are capable and strong to defeat them.

I can smell the blood in the air. My allies started to fight the enemies. Many were killed in bombs and traps. However, those were not enough to stop their entry. They were too many. I can see more of them coming from the distance.

The alphas from other packs were beside me, fighting hand in hand with me. Two rogues attacked me. They were just small so I was able to kill them in an instant.

Another rogue tried to bite me but I manage to pounce on him and slashed his neck with my sharp teeth. Their blood was gross and it would be an honor to kill more of them.

Dead werewolves were everywhere. The ground around me covers with red blood. I tried to focus and looked around. I remember Luna, I hope she's safe in the camp.

I fought more rogues, I and my wolf are working together. We want this to finish soon. I want to see Lucas. My goal is to get him down. I want him dead.

Three rogues came, and they aimed for me. They were bigger than the rogues who attacked me earlier. It was difficult for me to move. They were attacking me together. One of them flew meters away from me. It was Enrico, he was helping me. He killed the bastard. I had the opportunity the kill the other two rogues.

I moved closer to him and bowed my head. I would like to thank him for his help. His wolf nodded, and together, we moved closer to the sea of fighting.

We came across other enemies who are hungry for our lives. They were like monsters who don't have control anymore. They will just attack us in an instant and they will end up dead.

I howl as a signal that more enemies are coming. We are many, but the enemies are too many. Stefan came and minds linked.

"Alpha, there are more coming. And Lucas, he's coming too,"

This is it. The bastard was finally here. I am excited to bite his throat.

From a distance, my eyes caught him. He was running in my direction. Now is the time to face him. This is the time for sweet revenge.

He stopped a few meters away from me. He stood with pride.

I heard his voice inside my mind.

"Finally Hector, the day has come for you to die," he's teasing me.

"In your dreams Lucas. You can never take me down," I replied.

"I know Luna was there in the camp. I will kill you first, so I can get her. I need her. She should be mine," he said.

"I will never let that happen. She's my mate, I will protect her. Stop talking and fight me,"

I run towards him and dive at him to try to penetrate his skin. He can move fast and avoided my attack. He strikes me with his great force and I stumble down. I get on my feet and leap towards him trying to aim for his neck.

He still has that power and force.

"For your information Hector, I was able to have enough of Luna's blood. That is why look at me. I am stronger than anyone in my pack," he laughed.

"I don't care about your special strength. You are a coward. You are nothing without Luna's blood. You bastard," I attacked again.

I was able to jump on him and we are too close to each other struggling to kill one another.

I exposed my sharp teeth trying to taste his blood. He was too strong and I can't bare him.

He used his head to dash towards my face. I loosen my grip on his skin.

He jumped above me trying to aim for my neck. I used my claws instead to distract him.

It was nothing to him. He pushed me and I flew meters away from him.

I stood up and stared at him with a raging fire of anger.

"Stop fighting me. You are wasting your time. Today I will conquer every pack. And I will have your mate, Hector. Someone betrayed you, and he will bring her to me. How was that?"

Everything stopped. Luna, no. Lucas managed to have a spy inside the camp. This is not good. Who could it be? She's in danger.

"Luna, the love of your life was a weak human who can't even save her precious life. She will be here soon. And I want you to see how I will have her. Surrender and bow to me Hector!" he declared.

He surged towards me and I welcomed his attack. We both rolled to the ground. Trying to bite one another. He managed to pull away. I felt a burning pain in my stomach. I saw blood coming from a wound.

"Your strength is not enough to stop me, Hector," he showed one of his claws and it has silver.

No, he used silver to hurt me. My vision started to blur as more blood came out from my wound. I am strong, this wound is nothing.

I attacked him again. It was useless, he was too strong.

He bite my left shoulder and I felt another piercing pain. The wounds were unbearable.

He was about to attack me when Enrico came and stopped him. The alpha of the blazing flame pack is fighting Lucas. Enrico was already old, I can see that he was already tired of fighting.

My body trembles but I can still stand. I need to focus. I need to help Enrico.

I jumped onto Lucas and Enrico attacked him too. Lucas used more of his strength to shield his body.

I fell to the ground. Lucas snatch an attack and imprinted a wound on Enrico's back. He howls in pain.

I heard other alpha's coming. Lucas prepared and attacked them altogether. He was too strong to be defeated that easily. I can't even move as the poison of the silver runs in my vein.

Lucas will try to kill all the alphas. I need to do something.
