Vanessa was so sad because the marriage was still to young for her to be tired already. She felt like terminating the contract already but when she remembered the consequences she had a rethink on it.


She remembered the past girl he had cheated on her with and they were of different sizes and shapes.


'He doesn't even have a particular spec." She said to herself as she reach out to her phone so she could see who the girl was this time around.


'And who the hell is this girl in question?" Vanessa said to herself still in tears as she picked up her phone and checked the video once again.


As she watched the video once more she had thought of who the girl would be this time around maybe it would be a random girl who he just picked up from the club or bar. As she was trying to see who the girl was she heard a knock at the door.


'Who could that be." she muttered to herself. She just ignored the person because she had no strength left in her to stand up.


'Can someone help me open this door." Allyson cried for help as she kept on banging the door, telling Vanessa to please open it.


The security who was on charge of holding the keys came in with a spare key and opened the door.


'Nessa! Vanessa!!" Allyson shouted as she ran inside the room looking for Vanessa.


Vanessa was lying on the floor beside the bed so it was hard for her to be noticed immediately.


'Nessa! I promise everything will be over soon, it's just a scandal and you know it's just a matter of time. It would all be history soon okay. Vanessa!!" Allyson said as she kept on checking all the angles in the room looking for Vanessa.


Allyson didn't see Vanessa anywhere around and it made her panic the more. She had thought that Vanessa has done something bad to herself and she would forever regret it for that. Allyson was so scared she prayed and hope Vanessa had not done anything bad to herself.


'I would never forgive myself if anything happens to Vanessa, I wish I was here earlier." Allyson blamed herself in a very low tone as she ran to the bathroom to check if she was there.


She checked round about two times to make sure she wasn't there and as she was running out of the bathroom she sighted Vanessa from afar sitting in the floor soaked in tears.


'Nessa, are you okay?" She asked Vanessa as she grabbed and gave her a hug.


Vanessa was so happy to see Allyson because she was confused and needed someone to talk to urgently.


'I am tired, I am just so tired Allyson. This pain is to much for me." Vanessa cried out loud as Allyson hugged her tightly.


'No no Nessa you can't be tired. I have never known you to be a failure." Allyson said as tears welled down her eye.


She tried so hard to hold back the tears because she didn't want Vanessa to feel bad and more sad so but she couldn't hold it anymore when she saw her friend in that state.


'Allyson, I don't think I deserve this is too much for me to be passing through at my young age." Vanessa asked Allyson as she stopped hugging her and looking at her face with tears welling down her eyes.


'You deserve better Nessa something better than this, I know they." Allyson said to Vanessa in an assuring tone.


'Then what is happening to me? Why is Daniel treating me this way?"


'I don't know but all I know is that this too shall pass, it would also become history like the other ones."


'Ever since I signed for this contract marriage it has been from one form of problem to another I have not even enjoyed it for ones. And Daniel never cares about how I always feel all he cares about is himself; he only thinks about himself alone and that's the most annoying part." Vanessa said to Allyson, emotionally.


Allyson could not talk because her eyes were already filled with tears. She couldn't comfort Vanessa anymore because she was also down. They both cried together for a while before Allyson stopped and began to advise Vanessa.


'Nessa we won't let this weigh us down, you don't have to be acting weak or be weak because of a mere scandal. Yes I called it a mere scandal. Common this is not the Vanessa I use to know. Stand up." Allyson encourage Vanessa.


Allyson word were really getting to Vanessa it lightened up her mood a little because it was the exact words she wanted to her. Vanessa looked deep into Allyson eyes but Allyson couldn't hold an eye contact with even for a minute.


'Allyson why aren't you looking at me in the eye? Is it because you know this is not a small scandal and it could ruin my so called marriage?"


'Of course not, Vanessa, Listen to me this whole scandal, Daniel and the do call contract wedding is not worth this much of your tears. So brazen up and be the Vanessa I use to know." Allyson say to Vanessa as she turned her face and looked at her in the eye.


'Allyson, thank you." Vanessa said to Allyson as she cleaned her eye and gave Allyson a big hug.


'It's fine Nessa, thank goodness I came here just in time."


'How did you know that I already saw the video?" Vanessa asked Allyson, eagerly.


'I noticed you already posted on your page so I assumed you watched the video already so I decided to rush down here as soon as possible and when I go to the living the maids, security and everyone as thay haven't seen you today. So I ran straight to your room and I confirmed it when I banged the door and you didn't respond, I even called you sleeping beauty and you didn't reply."


'Haha, I actually wanted to but I was too weak to stand up." Vanessa replied as she managed to laugh.


Allyson hugged Vanessa and tried lifting her up so she could go and take her bath.


'You are so heavy I can't even carry you up." Allyson said as she tried lifting Vanessa up.


'No that's not true, it's because you don't have strength to carry me that why" Vanessa replied to Allyson she pulled herself up a little so it won't be too difficult for her.


She eventually stood up and was about to enter the bathroom when Allyson stopped and asked her.


'Is there any pain released in the house because you need to take some after taking your bath."


'Yes of course there is but you have to ask one of the maids to get some for you." Vanessa replied to her and went inside the bathroom to take her bath.


'Yh bestie we did it again." Allyson asked Vanessa as they both stepped out.


'Thanks Allyson, you always know the right to come through for me." Vanessa said to Allyson as they entered the car.


Vanessa was tired of staying at home and wanted to go stay at Allyson's place because of the crowd outside the mansion. So she pleaded with Allyson to please help her snick out of the mansion because the press and paparazzi already occupied the whole mansion. She wasn't ready to face them yet because she was still trying to heal from the shock of the news. Allyson came and rescued her just in time, she helped her get an outfit that helped her disguise well. They both left the mansion in the maids and cooks outfit.


'This was actually the best plan and I am so happy we were able to carry it out successfully." Allyson said as she signaled the driver to move the car.


'Yh, you are the best planner ever." Vanessa praised Allyson.


They both smiled and laughed together as Vanessa tried removing the cap she used to cover her face.


'This sucks, like seriously it does." Vanessa said angrily.


'What exactly sucks?" Allyson asked Vanessa, curiously.


'Why do I have to dress like a maid just because of some crazy and annoying set of people. Don't rest at all, like the whole thing is really frustrating and tiring. Imagine I can't even step out of my house freely because of them." Vanessa replied to Allyson as she threw the clothes on the floor and matched them.


'Vanessa! Calm down this are only clothes and not the paparazzi or the press you know."


'Hmmmm." Vanessa sighted.


'Speaking of the devil, it's been two day since the sex tape got leaked. Has Daniel even bothered calling you or chatting you up to know how you are doing."


'Yes he has been calling since that day but I haven't picked any of his calls. Do you know he had to call the chief guard and her begged him to please give me the phone but I refused."


'Nessa!"


'What? Why are you calling my name? I haven't even said anything or done anything bad?"


'I am not trying to judge you but at least pick up his call, so you can hear the nonsense he wants to say.



'Maybe I would do that the next time he calls, but that would be if I am in a good mood at that moment."


'Okay, I know you will take my advice."


They got to there destination (Allyson's house) and came down from the car.


'Finally we are home." Vanessa said as she jumped down from the car and ran inside the house before anyone sees her.



'Nessa wait for me." Allyson said as she ordered the driver to bring in her bag while she ran to catch up with Vanessa.


Vanessa went straight to the kitchen a took a cup of ice cream from the fridge '


'So you left me out there because of a cup of ice cream." Allyson teased Vanessa as she also went into the kitchen and took a cup of ice cream from the fridge.



They went to the sitting room and settled down.


'Oh what an eventful day" Vanessa said while smiling as she licked the ice cream.


They were both quest for a while as they both licked their ice cream.


'That reminds me did you know the girl Daniel had the sex with in that tap." Allyson asked Vanessa, curiously.


'No I don't know who she is. Do you know her." Vanessa replied and also asked Allyson.


'I think I do know her but the problem is from where? The clothes she wore on that day looks so familiar but I can't just place my head on who the exact person could be." She replied to her, in a very calm tone.


'Really so who do you think it would be?"


I said I didn't get to see the person closely or do you want us to watch the video again."


'No never, I never want to see that or watch that video again."


'Okay then let me send the video to someone who is a guru in editing. He could be really helpful to us, you know."


'Yh, let's do that. '' Vanessa supported the idea Allyson suggested.


Allyson left the living room immediately and called her friend who was a guru in editing. She sent the video and waited for reply.


Few minutes later the female who had sex with Daniel was revealed.


'What Mathilda?" Vanessa and Allyson echoed it together.


'A staff in his company, are they not supposed to be on a business trip?" Allyson asked, curiously.


"Why a must it be with be with a staff in the company?" Allyson said to Vanessa in a very sad tone.


'Why is Daniel this wicked? How does me what me to pass the people in his company. How? 'Vanessa asked Allyson in a call tone.



'You know what I would advise you stay indoors for few weeks before coming out because it would be really though for you out there." Allyson advised.



They where both talking when Vanessa's phone rang, she didn't know who exactly it was that was calling but she picked the call. It was the chief guard he was call to tell me that Daniel was back home and he was worried when he didn't see her.


'Oh my God, what am I seeing here? The hero is back." Allyson shouted as Vanessa ended the call with the chief guard.


'What is happening?" Vanessa asked Allyson,curiously.


'It you husband Daniel."


'And what has that got to do with me?" Vanessa asked Allyson, sarcastically.


'He is the hero of the day. ‘The paparazzi caught him going inside his mansion just now, it seems him and his wife would settle things anytime from now' with who" Allyson read out what she saw in the magazine for Vanessa.


'Whatever I don't even care" Vanessa said as she stood up from the chair and went her room upstairs.
