###Chapter 37

Chapter 37

Evening..

Anthonia POV

"How's America Diya?" Mother asked as I and the other wives served at the table.

"Very great Mother." Diya replied with a chuckle.

I smrinked placing a particular flat bread on Diya plate and I headed to serve the others.

She began to eat from her bread only to pull on a crumpled look.

"What is this?" She groaned and I chuckled silently.

"What is it Diya? It's flat bread... you know it." Janvi said.

"Yeah... I know but.... it's...ugh!." Diya groaned.

"Well then, let me taste it...." I suddenly spoke up and I headed to her taking it as I bit from it.

Salty...

"Mmh... tastes good..." I acted up forcing myself to swallow and Diya arched a brow at me.

"Go check your taste buds sweetheart.." I grinned.

"I know what am saying..." She snapped.
"You must be mistaken Diya. There is nothing wrong with the bread." Granny chipped in and Diya went mute as she practically glared at Mr beneath her lashes.

I winked at her before heading to the kitchen with the bread and quickly disposed it, replacing it with a better one

I felt glad. I finally made her feel so stup*d and awkward.

Hahaha...

Earlier on, I had made a flat bread specially for Diya...a little intro into my plan of frustrating her.

I returned back to the table eating out of the good bread as I took my seat eating carefreely sparing Diya a glance as she had a funny face on.

Serves you right!

"Maybe you tasted wrong. Com'on.. you can have mine." We heard Aditi offered.

Huh?

"Thanks." Diya appreciated and once again ate from the same plate as Aditi.

Ugh!
I continued chewing with great irritation.
I'll show her.

Time Skip

Wednesday;9am

Anthonia POV

I pulled on a green shinny saree and fixed my hair into a long braid and tendrils.

Today is a public holiday and am happy about it.
A little break from school would really be helpful.

I exited the room humming a Bollywood song nonchalantly.
I stood at the railing examining the large sitting room beneath me.

Hm...no one was there....
I exhaled heading for the stairs as I alighted it slowly.

I really wonder where those two would be....

Oh Diya....
I really feel so odd about her...very odd.

My phone began to ring breaking into my train of thoughts.
It was Kaeya.
I pulled on a light smile quickly taking the call.

Diya POV

I walked into the office stylishly.
Adi raised up his head to behold me as I grinned at him.

"Hey Adi.." I beamed dropping my bag as I scuttled to hug him and he got off his seat to receive the hug.

Gosh!
His cologne is a brain spinner.

"Wow Diya." He breathed and I chuckled disengaging from him.

"Surprised to see me?" I asked and bit my lower lip.

"Yeah.. you never told me you would be coming to the office. I would have made preparations." He said.

"No need for that Adi. Stop being too formal. Am here for only you." I purred leaning in as I locked lips with him, kissing his soft pink lips.

Gosh!
I missed this so much.

"Diya..." He groaned pulling away.
"What is it Adi? It isn't a new thing between us, is it?" I pouted and he exhaled moving back to his seat.

. "Am busy...make yourself comfy." He said tapping on his computer buttons.

I rolled my eyeballs making a bubble out of my gum as I headed to get 'comfy' as he said.

I swear...am so gonna get Adi back...no matter what it takes.

Nathasha POV

I sipped from my wine glass as I stared at the picture of the new lady.... Diya.

She really seem to be after the same thing as me.

Hm...

I could use a little bit of help from her...then get exactly what I want....the position of Mrs.Nathasha Aditi Singh

.

I chuckled sipping from my wine.
Watch out Anthonia.

Anthonia POV

Surprising, or not surprising,Diya and Aditi returned from the office together.
That snake!

Com'on Anthonia... you ought to be glad that you would be free from this marriage ....but no!... I don't want to lose .... and I will never lose...
Diya will never be the reason I will leave this marriage.
It could be someone else but not her!
Never!

Dinner time was once again the same as usual.
If am not mistaken, I ought to be beside Aditi not Diya...
Ugh!

I dropped my hair brush and got off the stool.
Aditi was at the balcony smoking

..
Hmm...Idi*t...

Least I forget,I haven't thanked him for gracing my school event.

Hm...I guess I have to else Mother's words won't stop hitting me...

"always say thanks to a good deed."

I unknowingly let out a wide smile then exhaled heading to the balcony.

I stood beside Aditi holding the railing.
"Nice night huh?" I muttered but got no response.

I scoffed inwardly.
"So I..."

A knock interrupted me as I glanced inside the room then back to Adit who didn't seem to be moved by the knock.

I headed to check it out anyway.
Opening the door, I saw Diya and let out a scoff.

"Isn't it late enough for you to come searching for a married man!?" I blurted and she scoffed.

"Sorry..but he's also my bestie. Don't be a kill-joy." She replied sarcastically.

I left the door handle folding my arms.

"Look...ion care if he's your bestie or not...stay away and let us have our privacy..." I fired and stepped back shutting the door at her face.

I exhaled letting out all my angry breath walking back into the room where I met Aditi coming from the balcony.

"Who was it?" He asked.
"Nobody." I blurted and he stared at me icily before heading into the bathroom.

Morning.....

It was still very early.
I got off the bed to have my morning bathroom business.

When I was done, I headed to the balcony staring out enjoying the cool morning breeze.

Aditi wasn't in the room which meant he was out with Diya.

I scoffed as they showed up and I only watched them as they began to jog.

Something happened and Diya missed her step falling to the grass as a wild laughter escaped my lips as I cupped them vibrating with laughter.

It felt so good seeing that priceless moment.

That's really good for her...
I watched closely as Aditi helped him up supporting her to walk back inside.

Good thing he didn't carry her.

Diya POV

I sat on a couch.
"Calm down Diya... I'll get the Doctor." Adi offered but I held his hand.

"Don't worry Adi. Am fine." I assured

"O my! What happened?" Deven's Mother asked as everyone gathered.

"She missed her step during our exercise." Adi replied.

"Am totally fine..." I sighed.
"Quiet Diya. Deven, get her up to the room. Aditi, please come with me." Mum said.

Ugh!
I want Adi not Deven.

. I gave him a spiteful glare as he smiled at me and tried carrying me.

"I can walk.." I snapped as he opted to only support me.
Gosh!
