I took a tireful sip of my soda and sighed.

"Dude, what's wrong with you? I hate the downcasting look on your face"Nathan said.

" Am fine"I muttered and sighted Diana walking into the building and I let out a smile which vanished as fast as it came.

She walked in with Dave as they even held hands.

My gaze was glued on them as they made their order and occupied a booth not too far from mine.

I watched as they began to eat and talk in an obvious happy manner.

Dave would occasionally say something which would make Diana turn red and it made me so uncomfortable.

I noticed a senior male student walk up to their booth and said something earning a hard glare from Dave.

The boy tried touching Diana which made me almost jump out of my seat but relaxed a while as Dave stood up.

"Back off Andrew!" Dave snapped as the boy laughed irritatingly.

The students attention by that time had already been captured.

"Why? Is she your Juliet you mor*n. I wasn't talking to you okay" The Andrew boy said and Diana stood up.

" Quit it okay? You have fooled yourself enough. Now leave"Diana spat and Andrew scoffed.

" I am your senior hottie, mind your tongue" Andrew warned.

" Like I care. Go find your own girlfriend okay?" Diana snapped and stormed out of the building.

" Hold on.. did I hear that newbie right?" Carl said.

"I thought I had suddenly gotten an ear defect. Are they dating? "Nathan asked which made me glare hard at him.

" Stop it Nathan"I growled as they stared at me surprised.

They can't be dating. Am certain of it.

I looked over at the booth where Dave stood gathering the snack as Andrew chuckled darkly.

"Romeo.." He teased and Dave glared at him before leaving.

I need answers!!

Diana Pov

"Babe!" I heard Dave call after me and I turned sharply to see him hurrying to me while holding our snacks.

"I am so sorry about that" Dave apologized and I shook my head.

" Nevermind about it. Am cool now" I assured.

"You are sure?" He asked and I nodded.

"So the rumors are true after all" Delia said as I grinned.

" Yeah. I gave him a reply today only for that bully to come and ruin our lunch"I replied.

" Finally! You would be free from Anthonia's wrath. Dating Dave is a great thing"Denise said and I sighed.

Ryan Pov

All the whispers around the senior grade was about the said to believe fact that Diana is dating Dave.

The more I tried to believe that it is not true, the more I spotted Diana and Dave acting like love birds.

After classes, Dave carried her bag with his as they walked to the dorm area holding hands.

I bounced the ball around with all my might and aimed at the net throwing the ball in and missed.

That was my tenth miss this evening.

I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed heavily staring at the empty basketball court I stood in.

Memories I never wanted to come in fought their way into my head.

I can't believe Diana went ahead to date Dave.

Yes!
I know I never asked her out but I like her so very much.

I feel so hurt within and hated the feeling.
I fell for her f**lishly and now I have to get out of this horrible feeling.

I am certain it's only a mere crush.
I need a distraction and this game isn't helping at all!



Anthonia Pov

Diana made the right choice by dating Dave.
Now I know my Ryan is all mine.

But.. for the fact that Diana betrayed me by sticking close to Ryan, I will make her pay dearly.

I smrinked watching Ryan feeling so down.

He would need me now more than anything or anyone but a part of me growled angrily about the fact that Diana dating Dave is affecting him this much!

I pulled on a concerned face and walked into the court, heading for where Ryan stood.

"Ryan..." I called tenderly and he turned to see me and hugged me suddenly like I would vanish soon enough.

I caressed his hair tenderly.
"Calm down Ryan . Am here for you" I cooed as he held me tight.

" What's wrong Ryan? "I asked and he sighed.

"Ion know Anthonia. I just need this comfort now" He replied and I smrinked.

I laughed heartily as Dave chased me around the open field and finally caught up with me.

"Told ya am fast" Dave grinned pulling me close to him in a hug and I chuckled.

"You only got lucky bae and nothing more" I scoffed and he k*ssed my hair.

" I love you so much babe"Dave cooed and I blushed.

These past two weeks has been so much fun.
I saw less of Ryan which was a relief and more of Dave who made my life colourful.

He is way better than my st*pid grade 9 ex.

I broke off from the hug and began to run as fast as I could.

"Oh no you don't!" Dave said and began to chase after me.

Anthonia Pov

While I spoke to Ryan as we strolled, I noticed him stare absently at the field only to see him watching Diana and her boyfriend having their normal lover's play.

"Um.. Ryan" I called.

"Mmh?.." He replied sharply facing me.

" I seriously don't understand you offlate. You tend to forget that am with you and it hurts"I began acting out my lines and he sighed.

" Am so sorry bestie. Am just... stressed" He groaned.

" That's not an excuse Ryan"I pouted.

"Ok fine. What can I do to make it up to you? "Ryan offered and I smiled.

" Are you really asking me?" I beamed.

"Yeah. I really want to make it up to you Anthonia"He replied.

Ryan Pov

I stood before the mirror fully dressed.
Anthonia was totally right with her request.

She needed her old Ryan back, she needed the old me.

Acting depressed because Diana is dating Dave won't help .

Diana is doing great without me and I need to do the same that's why I decided to fulfill Anthonia's wish.

As my bestie, every Sunday evening which is movie evening is always for us as we do go watch movies.
That was until Diana came into the picture.

"I told you this dude loves Anthonia" Carl jeered and I rolled my eyeballs.

"Quit it Carl." I groaned.

"He has a point Ryan. Give her a try. Not all girls are like Silvia"Nathan supported.

" Whatever. Bye guys" I said and left the room.

I walked over to Anthonia dorm building and room where I would meet up with her.

I placed a light knock on the door and it opened revealing Anthonia beautifully dressed in a complete outfit of leather totally giving her a h*t look.

I felt my throat run dry upon seeing her.

"Wow" I muttered and she stepped out closing the door.

"How do I look?" Anthonia asked and I smiled.

"Totally perfect darling. Com'on" I urged taking hold of her hand and we made an exit together.

" I am so glad you finally remembered our movie day" Anthonia said and I smiled.

My roomies words suddenly flooded my head as I glanced at Anthonia alot during our walk to the movie hall which would be full soon enough.

We soon arrived and occupied the last two seats at the extreme of the hall.

"Not a bad seat" She grinned and k*ssed my cheek.
The lights soon went off and the movie started.

The movie was none other than the popular fifty sha..des of gr..ey.

A student must have hacked the system since the teachers are too busy to keep an eye on us.

In no time, I could hear soft mo*ns from every dark angle.
No doubt, couples must be teasing themselves already.
One cr*zy part of this school, we have ordained p*rnst*rs around.


Once during a permitted group sleepover, my group experienced lots of ar*using views from numerous people and that was when the senior who offered me her body first met me.

I heard Anthonia chuckled softly.

"Pretty rad..." She said and I laughed softly.

The guy next to her was handling himself badly.

"Totally"I agreed and we hurried out of the hall into the dark night.

"Wanna head for dinner?"I asked.

"Anthonia led me to the quiet basketball court where we sat down quietly.

"Heard the mid-term break is in two weeks and the casual prom would be a day before the break commences. Would you go home?"Anthonia asked.

"Nahh.. Can't stand the flight stress"I replied and she smiled.

Anthonia licked her lips slowly as she glanced around.
I get she did it with no intention but it intrigued me alot as I gulped lowly.

It's been so long I had a k*as even before the one I shared with Diana.

I and Anthonia has shared lots of things outside the best friend zone.

I can never think of going that far with Anthonia again.
The first was so not intentional.

It happened in Grade 9 after my birthday party back at home and the last was at my dorm when she met me half n*de.

I was a bad player,a very bad one tho till I decided to stop for a while when I got involved with Silvia till after our break up and now.

I gave her everything.

Yet, she cheated on me with Mason.

I really need to leave here to an exposed place cause the thoughts popping into my head are offensive.

"Let's go Anthonia" I said and got up on my feet as she did the same.

"How is Ruby?" She asked and I smiled.

Ruby Peyton..my blood sister.

"She is doing great"I replied and Anthonia sighed.

"I really wonder what it feels like to actually end up with the one person you love"Anthonia said and I smiled glancing at her.

I watched Delia and Denise talk so much about the upcoming casual prom always held before the mid-term break which would last a week.

Well the prom is in four days and our test had already began today Monday.

"You are so lucky that you wouldn't attend your first prom single"Delia said and my cheeks heated up.

"How about we get our gowns ready?
Denise suggested.

"Count me out.I have calculus to read for tomorrow" I said and faced my book.

Everything felt normal the way it came.
Diana and Dave were both making the best out of their relationship.

Prom would take place the next day after which the mid-term break would follow immediately.

I finally concluded my test papers feeling so free and elated.

I looked forward to the prom coming up and having Dave as my date.

Heading to the scanty café building, I made an order for cream coffee in a carton cup and headed for a vacant table.

Students around were mostly in female and male pairs talking about the upcoming prom happily.

I stared at the heart bangle Dave had gotten for me from the school mall with his allowance that was sent to him last week.

Dave appeared way better than my ex and I felt so lucky to have him.

The white short flay skirt, white singlet which exposed my navel and white jacket I wore look good to me but the girls thought it was better I wore a prom dress.

"Just cause it's prom doesn't mean I must wear a gown" I said pulling on my white sneaker.

"No problem anyways. You still look good. Let's go"Denise replied and we made an exit.

The school party hall was super large and dope for a perfect prom night.

Music here and there, drinks, snacks, dancing couples and singles, above all.... NO GUIDANCE!!


It was shocking to me until Denise told me it's totally normal before scurrying off leaving me alone with Delia who didn't take so long in moving away too.

I scanned around for Dave but couldn't find him.
I knew I should have asked him to come pick me up at my dorm entrance.

Still in wait for Dave, I saw Ryan make an entrance with Anthonia as they held hands,both beautifully dressed in black leather outfit which suited them well.


I and Ryan's gaze met admist the crowd for a moment before he looked away.

"Babe!"I almost jumped out of my skin and turned to see Dave wearing a boyish grin.

"You scared me"I whinned swatting his arm as he winced.

"Ok fine. Am sorry" He apologized and planted a light k*ss on my lip.

"How about we grab a drink" Dave suggested and I nodded before he took hold of my hand leading me through the sea of dancing students.
