Anthonia POV

I alighted the stairs joining everyone at the sitting room.

Seems as if no one was ready to go to bed tonight.
Aditi was operating on his phone while Diya spoke to him nonstop.
I scoffed rolling my eyeballs as I pulled on a sweet smile heading for where Deven sat

I slowly took a seat beside him.
"Hey!" I hailed and he looked at me.

"Oh! Hi Anthonia.. you look great tonight." He complimented and I chuckled.

"Yeah. Thanks."
"What are you up to now?" I asked and he shrugged.

"Nothing. Everyone seem excited about the upcoming fast. Are you?" He asked and I scoffed.

Never!
"Yeah... I am.." I feigned silently cursing my fate of being stuck in such a great sham of a marriage all cause of my s*ck father.
Oh yes!
He's vest defined that way most times.

"We should go for a walk Deven.." I suggested loud enough for Aditi to hear as I noticed he looked away from his phone to me for a while as I in turn faced Aditi.

"Sure..." He gave in and we both got off the couch heading out of the house and to the field.

Mmh...
The air felt so good!

"How was your day at home? Am certain you and Diya are good already." Deven said and I scoffed.

"Too bad am gonna crush your hope. Honestly,am not sure I'd ever like her. Never!" I sighed truthfully and he paused walking.

"Why?" He asked staring deeply at me and l shrugged.

"Dunno. Ion just like her." I replied not wanting to let him know the exact reason else... I'd appear like a jealous wife... which I am totally not.

Thankfully,he didn't press on the issue again as we strolled on.

We soon headed back inside the house as I thought of a much better way to get back at Diya and shove her into the place where she belong.

Diya POV

I noticed Adi wasn't listening to me anymore.
Ugh!

"Adi... would you be home tomorrow? The decorations would be made." I said and he exhaled.

"Am tired Diya. Good night." He replied coldly and got off the couch heading for the stairs.

Anthonia POV

I heard the door open and close as I was at the balcony.

Movement followed and soon enough,it seemed as if Aditi had gone to bed.

Tomorrow would really be a busy day.
I exhaled rubbing my forehead.
I needed someone to talk to and Kaeya posed to be the vest choice.

I turned heading into the room to get my cellphone and caught sight of Aditi on the bed.

His arms were crossed behind his head with his eyes closed.
I really can't wait to get this marriage annulled.
Every single day,he never cease to annoy me in many ways.

I rolled my eyeballs picking up my phone and headed back to the balcony where I'd make the call.
Hopefully,Aditi won't hear a thing.

. Kaeya picked at the second ring.
"B!" Her cheerful voice rang out sending a smile straight to my lips.

"Kaeya..! It's been a while.." I sighed.
"Yeah! I miss you so much! How's the fast prep treating you?" She asked and I exhaled.

"Honestly Kaeya,...am tired."

"Hmm.. how's Aditi now? Did he 'thank' you?" She asked and I scoffed.

"You wish. He's too proud to do that. And that snake..." I hissed

"Gosh Anthonia.. I really feel for you. If it hadn't been for your Father, you'd be happily single." She groaned and I sighed.

"Could you please come over tomorrow?" I requested.

"Of course! Anything for you B." She gave in and I smiled.

"Thanks"

"But ensure that there'd be lots of golgappa... I've been craving for them." She whined and I chuckled.

"I'll see to it.."

"Yaay!" She cheered like a child.

"Silly. Good night." I wished.

"You too B. Sleep well.." she replied.

"I love you.." I cooed.

"Awwwn.. me too darling." She purred and I laughed ending the call.

I shook my head as I headed for bed.
I definitely didn't make a mistake calling her tonight.

I took hold of the pillows dividing the bed before laying to sleep.

Anthonia POV

I settled for a saree today....but thinking about it..
Kaeya would be coming over and she would definitely wear a lehenga choli...

Nahh....
I decided to change my saree to a lemon lehenga choli....in order to dress to match.

My bangles were to match and my hair was loose.

I made orders for Golgappa since I couldn't make them.
Am pretty sure it must have arrived already.

I exited the room to see the mansion already a beehive of activities.

"Anthonia...did you order for Golgappa?" Lara asked brimful with an excited smile.

"Er... yeah.." I replied amused at her appearance and she squealed.

"They've arrived and I'd love to have some." She said and I laughed.

"Lara...okay.. you'll have it but let the owner get here first." I consented and she furrowed her brows.

"Who?"

We both turned to see Kaeya scuttling to me and we trapped ourselves in a long hug before pulling apart.

"Lara...this is my very good bestie Kaeya. Kaeya...Lara...my sister-in-law." I introduced.

"Nice to meet you.." they said to each other grinning.

"Are my Golgappas here?" Kaeya asked and I nodded laughing as Lara gasped.

"She's the owner?" Lara asked and I nodded.

"You're definitely not having them alone." Lara said and we laughed.

"We can share." Kaeya shrugged.

"Wow! This place is so cool!" Kaeya exclaimed.

"Yeah..." I chuckled.
"I really need a tour." She added.

"I'll take the honors." Lara offered.

"Great! I'll join you two soon." I said and scurried off.

"Anthonia..how many prayer plates would be needed?" Mother asked as soon as I stepped into the kitchen.

Uh-oh..
She'd asked me to find out yesterday.
I quickly did a mental calculation.

. "Twenty three, Mother." I replied and she smiled at me .

"Good." She scribbled it down and began to make a call.

"Anthonia! Go see how the decoration is going." Aunt Shyla ordered and I nodded.

I made my way to the sitting room which was looking so pretty already with flowers hanging all over.
Everything seemed in place to me.

"Hey! Is that a purple flower among the white or are you blind?" I snapped at one of the workers.

"Sorry ma'am." He quickly corrected it.

Later,Kaeya and I did the inspection together and Jaya had accompanied Aunt Shyla to the mall.

Kaeya and Lara hadn't wasted time before consuming the snack.

While Kaeya and I sat one of the couch discussing, Deven arrived with the sweets that would be given to the female guests tomorrow after the fast.
Three guards helped him in getting them in.

. I glanced at Kaeya and noticed her staring and I nudged her as she snapped back.

"Hey! You're lost.." I teased raising my brows at her and she chuckled.

"I wasn't. Who's that hottie?" She asked with a flirty look and I exhaled.

One amusing part of Kaeya.

"He's my brother-in-law. Aditi's cousin...Deven.." I replied and her face face beamed with interest.

"Goodness! He's hot!.. tell me Anthonia. How do I look?" She asked putting on a sweet face.

"Beautiful." I replied.
"Great! Am coming." She said.

"Kaeya..let it not be what m thinking." I groaned.

"Oh yes! It is." She chuckled and walked off.
